4663 is an mpeg2 receiver hence u have limited access to certain channels, ur best bet with that receiver is nilesat which needs 1.8m dish and above pending on ur location. moreso if u r a church channels lover then u can hook up to 68.5°E (mytv) and enjoy tvc news, waptv n idan tv in addition to d church channels, thank u.

as such d first thing u should do is to run a check on ur cable n make sure u have a closed circuit from d jack to ur positioner, if properly checked then u need to service ur jack, NOTE :u must have a sensor to sensor connection and on d otherhand motor to motor

I downloaded d software from strong site and use usb drive to load it base on wat I 've learn from dis forum. after it finished downloading it went off and never come up again. I assume it to be fake dats y it didn't come up. geting such decoder to re install it is very hard and I dnt have rs232 cable. pls is dere any software I can use to wake it true usb port? pls help b4 my old man turn tins around wit me.

the +9 and +10 u were getting was from atlantic bird7 NWA beam which unfortunately Aljazeera have stopped those channels for a reason i think connected to epl right. for lnb there is premium2 hd, inverto quad, santec etc.

d satellite u use to get those +1 to +5 is same u use for d remaining 6 to 10 just that in your location, d following 3conditions must be met for u to ever see green in their freequency,
1. your dish must be superbly coupled n in very good condition.
2. must have any of those magic lnbs
3. must have an xperienced installer.
even at that 'u may risk loosing d signal at night n working in d morning' so if jsc sport +6 to10 is a must have for u, u better gor for 2.4m dish

as for whether u need dielectric plate d answer is yes cuz all d frequencies are circular bt i cant say d preferred freq.

@all am having an issue with a friend's 4922, its slow in picking what is pressed on remote control, av changed batteries yet no difference, don't know what could be d problem
