I bought this land last year and developed it this year, Still paying some debts I owe cause the money I had couldn't take it to roofing level so I had to borrow to complete it once and for all.
I'm still praying for God to provide so I can pay off debts and get money to roof the 3 bedroom flat when I received a call from the person I put in charge that people from the ministry of housing are about to demolish the whole house in that area in 7 days.

I believe you bought the land from omo onile. This is why as a real estate consultant I advise people to buy from real estate company. I also believe you didn't do property search before buying the land. Even if you take the government to court you will be wasting your time and money because the government will win and they will demolish your house

Solution
Find out whether that land is a committed land. That is whether it is a land that the government has set aside to build something on it. If it is then my brother there is nothing you can do about it but if a land under general acquisition you can go ahead to do what is called ractification(i.e regularizing your title document)

To everyone else please if you intend buying land from anyone ensure you do Title and property search to avoid stories like this.
