If the whole essence of APC is to produce a northern candidate, that party is dead on arrival. Fashola should better wait to contest for president otherwise, he will drag his name to the mud with that spare tire position that he is fighting for |
God bless Uduaghan |
Seeing is believing. God bless Uduaghan |

Talk is cheap. Those who cannot manage their immediate family are the first to castigate people . To us the man is the best governor with a kind heart. You won't know until you go closer to him. |

Full story B*R*E*A*K*I*N*G News! Construction Workers Kidnap: 5 British Military Planes Arrive In Nigeria. An attempt to rescue abducted seven expatriates working with SETRACO Construction Company in Jama’are local government area of Bauchi State might be under way. Five British jet bombers yesterday arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Media exclusively sighted the bombers which were parked at the international wing of the airport. The foreign workers, who included five Lebanese, a Briton and an Italian, were abducted last Saturday by unknown gunmen in Bauchi. Media further gathered that the bombers might be on their way to prepare ground for the eventual rescue of the foreigners. The jet bombers were said to have arrived in the early hours of yesterday while their colours comprised three ash and two army green. The army green jets were marked “Royal Army”. Media further observed some foreign soldiers putting on brown camouflage uniforms were entering one of the army green jets in preparation for departure. It was further gathered that some of the jets had started leaving the airport for certain locations to assist in the rescue of the kidnapped foreigners. The four grey-coloured jets departed the Abuja airport at about 5.55pm, leaving only the army-green jet at the airport as at press time. The entry of the jets, the military source said, was to prevent the recent failed rescue operation in Sokoto where the terrorists killed the foreigners before they could be rescued by the security agencies, including foreign officers. When contacted over the unusual sighting of the jets, the British high commissioner in Nigeria, Mr. Rob Fitzpatrick, told Media, “This is routine military-to-military engagement.” Britain’s Foreign Office had said two men were held by terrorists associated with Boko Haram, a radical Islamist sect in Nigeria blamed for more than 300 killings this year alone. A senior British government official said the kidnappers appeared to be from an al-Qaida-linked cell within Boko Haram, but not within the group’s main faction. - Naija Pundit. Harvest of projects in Delta State. I will post them just stay tuned |
Idiotic people who don't appreciate any good thing |
The good governance team came , they saw , they were amazed and they said Uduaghan is performing wonders in Delta State , to God be the glory |
Garri x7, I return that curse to you. Are you angry that the governor has transformed Delta State beyond the imagination of the good governance team? |
Delta State took its turn today in the ongoing good governance tour embarked upon by the Minister of information Mr. Labaran Maku and his team. Mr. Labaran Maku who was amazed at the level of transformation across the state commended the Delta State governor for the unprcedented transformation in all sectors across the state. While responding to a question from one of the journalist in respect of the statement credited to the Edo State governor Comrade Adams Oshiomole to the effect that he cannot use Edo State money to fund the visit of the team to his state , the minister of information Mr. Labaran Maku commended the Edo State governor for speaking his mind on the issue . He noted that their work is open to criticism as expected in a democracy. In his word " I read what my senior comrade Governor Adams Oshiomole has said. He didn't say he was not welcoming us, he has some observations which he made open . We are running a democracy and I am thanking Adams for speaking out his feelings about the tour and as we go round, what we have done is to start a process. The future of this tour we don't know but we believe that this democracy must open itself up for the public, the media and Nigerians to participate . Any body who knows Adams will know that he is one of those who have led the process of democratic changes in Nigeria and we hold him in high esteem both as a senior comrade and as a friend and he knows that those of us who are doing this thing are not doing it completely outside patriotism for this country. Our system must operate and open up. We did the freedom of information bill and the president signed it into law to open up space. I think between federal and state government, we have the same citizens. The federal government doesn't have separate group of people that they look after nor the state government nor the local government. We are all striving to serve the people of Nigeria. As for the logistics, we discussed it very clearly when we met at the governors forum. The governors said that they will take responsibility for certain things and we should go for others and even this has been flexible. If we go to a state and the state say they cannot for example offer us drinks, we will make provision for it by ourselves. If we leave here , we are going to Edo State. If the state cannot offer us water, we will provide water to entertain ourselves. What matters most is services to Nigerians" the statement added. On his part, His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan reiterated that Asaba international airport is the cheapest international airport any state government can build at a cost of N27.7 billion. He said that the airport has one of the longest runway in the country which can accommodate any air craft . The comrade governor of Delta State responded to a question from from a journalist in the tour in respect of the anticipated high cost of the school fees of St. Patrick's College and assured the people that the school remains free for now until the missionaries fully take over. To God be the glory, Uduaghan three point agenda is working. God bless the architect of modern Delta State. By Comrade Sanco Ovie |

https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=490540264342154 His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan today honored his late mother at Ubiaja town Edo State. The occasion which attracted a mammoth crowd from within and outside the country was attended by members of the great Believers Council, the umbrella body of activist, past and present students leaders in the state. The Believers Council members where very excited as they accompany the governor to Ubiaja to honour the woman who gave birth to the man whom God has used to emancipate thousands of youths from the sharkles of economic slavery. While addressing the congregation, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan recounted how himself and his deputy left Asaba for his mothers church at Ubiaja by 5am to pray few days to his election. He thanked God for his victory after the prayer. He noted that he had discussed with the state executive council members several times in order to get suggestions on how to solve the water problem in the church and it's environs to no avail because of the nature of the terrain until the Reverend Father of the church brought some people from the south west who are not engineers and they did the entire water project at a cost of N1.3 million and since then it has bee producing water. In his word "mama has been vommitting water for his people miraculously . God has elevated us. I remember when I was using beetles and my wife was praying for an air conditioned car. Today, they have become a thing of the past. The governor assured the leadership of the church that he and his friends will put heads together to do whatever is remaining in the water project. Mamma, may your gentle soul rest in peace as we continue to pray for God to give your son the strength and wisdom to take Delta state to the promise land (6 photos) |
His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan briefed the press on the activities of his administration so far and his developmental plans for the year 2013. In an interactive session with the press today 31st January 2013 at the press centre , government house Asaba, the governor stated that the contract for section A of the Ughelli Asaba Road Dualization has been revoked and section B and C are on going. He said that the government is concentrating on road in this dry season and it is obvious that road construction is going on every where in all parts of the state. According to him, "Another aspect of the infrastructural development that we are working on is the construction of new schools and upgrade of existing schools. We are going to commence the second phase as soon as the budget is passed. As part of the human capital development agenda of this administration, our scholarship schemes are going on. The next batch will be school of aviation and marine schools. Our micro credit scheme is going on, we have just released 1 billion Naira to the directorate in charge of poverty alleviation . We are partnering with UNIDO to establish a shoe factory in Asaba. In the next few weeks, we will sign the MOU. We have already released our own part of the fund in the partnership" Similarly, the governor said that the ministry of commerce and industry has established four fish mills and cassava processing plant. He noted that the peace and security agenda received a major boost this period with the ban on okada except recently when we recorded some cases of security breach. "We have identified those areas and we hope to extend the ban to those areas but we are trying to provide alternative means of transportation before the ban" A respondent from Sapele complained about Levant Construction Company, whose tractors and other heavy equipments that they use in constructing Sapele Abigborodo road has been consistently damaging the Ugberikoko road while going to work at the Abigborodo road and the governor in his response said that the road has been awarded for construction adding that the contractor will soon move to site. Another respondent from Asaba thanked the governor for building Asaba airport and asked the governor to throw more light on the total cost of the Asaba airport in view of the controversy it has generated in the press. The governor in his response stated that the total cost of the Asaba airport is 27.7 billion and the cost of leveling the hills around the airport is part of the total cost but because there is a delay on the part of the contractor in executing that aspect of the job and there is the need for cargo plane to use that airport, that part of the job was extracted from the contract and awarded to another company. This has therefore put to rest the unfounded rumor propagated by the opposition that our Comrade Governor awarded the leveling of the hills separately . On this premise therefore , the governor admonished journalist in the state to cross check information before publishing . He noted that the Asaba international airport is the best that any state government has constructed in the whole of the country and it is also the cheapest. The governor talked about environmental and traffic marshals in which the bill is before the state house of assembly . He said that as soon as the bill is passed, our youths will be engaged to do the job in a bid to reduce the effect of traffic congestion orchestrated by the ban on Okada. The issue of the three polytechnic was brought to the fore and the governor stated that work has commenced in the Sapele Poly but the Abigborodo poly contractor later said that the money was too small for him to do the the job and the process of reawarding it had started before he came back again to accept the job for that amount. In a related development, His Excellency , Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan presented brand new Toyota Corolla to a teacher (Mr. Akamaka Luwis) in West End Mixed Secondary school as an award of excellence for diligent services to the state. The governor also provided gift items and learning materials to students of various institutions for excelling in education. Uduaghan three point agenda is working, to God be the glory. God bless the architect of modern Delta State. By Comrade Sanco Ovie |
