I WILL WRITE AN OPEN LETTER TO HIM VERY SOON TO NULIFY HIS BASELESS ARGUMENT AND MAKE HIM LOOK STUPID BEFORE THE PUBLIC. EKWEREMADU'S PRESENTATION IS MORE REASONABLE. where are the engineers in this forum. Come on, let us discuss the way forward for the development of engineering proffession. Why are we importing tooth prick? Why are we importing almost every thing we use. Our BSC /paper engineers use GSM phones produced by technical school students in China. The naira is becoming a tissue paper. This is the greatest challenge to the engineering profession. If BSC holders dont want to work with us as fellow engineers, a separate body should be created to regulate the activities of polytechnic engineers. within three years, we will reduce importation of goods by 50%. Importation of bolth and nuts alone yearly account for about 4billion naira. Why should we import bolth and nuts when we have technical colleges in this country.

The guy is not ashamed to talk of zoology where engineers are talking. I have not seen any body who fill Jamb form and chose zoology as first choice. Even if the offer of admission is given to me free without payment of school fees, I wont accept it. zoology is only accepted by students with poor academic performance. He acknowledged the fact that he wrote Jamb for three years. My brother , this is not an animal farm or cattle ranche where you behave like animal. I suddenly realized that there is a link between your reasoning and that of GEJ. I think the course has a way of affecting your thinking. In a bid to learn how to relate with animals, some of you tend to behave like animal.

In my school, if you spend four months to do a project, the assumption is that you didnt do a good reseach work. We do our project for at least eight months. In some department, you have to plant crops in different places , sprincle crude oil on part of the farm. Then you go to the farm every week to determine the rate of growth and the physicochemical properties of the leave. heavy metal content through laboratory analysis. effect of consuming such plant and change in equlibrium in the ecosystem according Lechatalers principle. So, you cant use four months to complete a project work in my school. If that is your reason for asserting that BSC is better than HND , you have lost it again. Let me take your memory back to set theory in secondary school which you can easily understand if and only if your parents didnt use money to buy WAEC result for you. Next time if you want to ague about HND and BSC dichotomy , pls look for dull HND holders to argue with not me. I am too sophisticsted for you. For your information, BSC holders in my office see me like an expatriate. I teach them theory and practical. They cant use autocad to design , they cant interprete drawings , they cant implement projects without me. I am like a demi god to them. The problem I have with them is that they are more of liability to me. They cant work on their own without my supervision and correction. How long will I breast feed those BSC holders? I will soon write a memo to the Governor of my state to send them to technical school for vocational training because they are totally useless in the engineering profession.

So cut off mark is now the New slogan. Nigerian Petroleum Institute where I graduated from do not use Jamb to admit students. its entrance exam is done under tight Security. Those who scored 300 in Jamb could not pass our entrance examination. If you are in doubt, go and try it or advise your younger one to try it. They will come back to tell you that they prefere Jamb to our entrance exam. HND curriculum is the same as that of B Tech in South Africa. Let me puncture their arguments once again. The length of time it takes a boat to cross river niger is not only a function of distance but a function of both distance, engine capacity and velocity. Have you bothered to subtract the six months IT from the 5 years of university engineering graduates? Do the maths, the balance is 4 years and six months. note that the number of courses per semester for Polytechnic is higher than university. Then add the one year IT to it. You will see the reason why HND holders do better in aptitute test. Get statistices from Chevron and Slumberger to help you.

Let me inform that child whose parents stood by the window with machineries in special centre to enable him get 200 in Jamb that there is no 'F' in my O level certificate. I got 9 credit at O level before I gained admission into the polytechnic because of my passion for polytechnic education. according to your baseless hypotesis, any student who receive lecture from a professor becomes inteligent automatically. permit me to remind you that a lecturer is not a teacher that will hold your hand against a chalk in a bid to make you understand a lecture. The lecturer gives you the guideline and you do the rest by yourself. this means that 80% of your success depends on you. To punture your baseless hypotesis further, all university students are supposed to pass their exams without failure because they were taught by professors. That is the conclusion of the premises you gave. Although, it is possible that you may not have done logic in your university to make such conclusion from the premises you created by your baseless assertion. I simpertize with you because it is not a suprise to me. A university graduate who read English language came to beg me to help him write a letter and I asked to know why he could not write a simple letter as an English graduate. He defended himself shamefully by saying, 'we were not taught letter writing throughout our stay in the university because the university authority felt we already know how to write letter from the secondary school'. I was dumbfounded at the quality of graduates produced by Nigerian universities. I am a polytechnic engineer, I still make more money than degree holders in the same office in spite of the disparity. I design , I draw and implement. I know what they know but they dont know what I know. I always told them that if x is not equal to y, then y is not equal to x. If they claim that there are things BSC holders know that HND holders dont know, there are so many things that HND holders know that BSC holders dont know. I suggested to them that both HND and BSC holders should do aptitute test before promotion but BSC holders are afraid of aptitute test. why are they afraid? They know that 90% of them will fail while most HND holders will pass. SHAME TO YOU ALL.

Millions of HND holders who are under this bondage of dichotomy will support Buhari government with whatever they have if he can end this dichotomy because HND holders feel like being in hell fire when they are made to teach their university counterpart their work in the office when in terms of salary, the apprehentist university graduates who you teach every day is rated above you with good salaries. this is an aberation of the highest order.

HND HOLDERS HAVE BEEN VINDICATED BY THE PERFORMANCE OF BUHARI WHO IS NOT A PHD HOLDER LIKE JONATHAN BUT HE HAS DONE WHAT GEJ COULD NOT DO FOR SIX YEARS. IF JONATHAN'S PHD IS USED AS A BENCH MARK TO RATE NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES THEN OND IS BETTER THAN THE PHD AWARDED BY NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES. THE NUC SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF PEOPLE LIKE GEJ.

We will not run away from exam, if we fail, we will accept our fate but if more university graduates fail, they should accept it. We are aware that most of them fail oil company's aptitute test. that is why you have most HND holders in the oil companies.

It is a lie. The promotion exam you refer to is not an exam. they give you the text book to use in the hall. You just open the book to copy the answer. If you know what aptitute test mean, you wont talk like this. They are not sound accademicaly, they should face the exam with us.

Lets organize ourselves and mobilize to disrupt proceedings in the national assembly until our demands are met

Most HND holders have 9 credits in one sitting while some BSC holders combine 2 or 3 results to get five credit. We use same text books. The difference is that we are baiase towards practical and application of scientific and engineering principles to solve our problems and meet our needs. the university on the other hand study theory without knowing how to apply such theories to solve our problems. the two groups must work together before production can take place. there will be no technological growth in this country if technology based education is not encouraged.

I might be the first to comit murder over this senseless DICHOTOMY. The day a Junior officer will refer to me as an assitant cadre, I will stab that Junior officer to death. It is either the government close polytechnic or abrogate the DICHOTOMY.

BSC holders did what saraki did to APC senators to us. the change that is sweeping across Nigeria will sweep their evil intension away.

Promotion between HND and BSC holders should be based on aptitute test. I have suggested it to them but BSC holders are afraid of aptitute test because they know a lot of them will not pass. If they think they are more inteligent, they should come for aptitute test. most BSC holders fail oil company's aptitute test that is why HND holders are more in the oil companies. they hide their mental laziness under the civil service that is why the civil service is not productive.

What are they afraid of. they know HND holders are better than them. if a level playing ground is created for both graduates, they cant compete with us. they decided to gang up and get the national assembly to pass the COREN bill into law to make us their subordinate. We will continue to resist this injustice.

Most university graduates here have spoken like children. From the way they talk, I know that most of them on this thread are blow 18 years. my wife is a BSC holder but I teach her every day and I cant see any significant impact of the almighty professors in her life.

I have made up my mind to personally sue the federal government to court to invalidate that fraudulent document prepared by university graduates to cater for their interest alone. the scheme of service is a fraudulent document which must be abrogated.

I still belive that this discrimination is a coup plotted against HND holders like the PDP saraki alliance. every semi illiterate who manage to get pass in the university will hide his or her illiteracy under university degree like the man who propounded "My oga at the top theory. why are they afraid of HND holders? if they feel they know better than HND holders, let them prove that through an exam for both graduates. whenever we suggest examination as a basis for promotion, they are the first to kick against it. until this issue cause death to our people, the FG will not take it seriously. I almost stab a colleage to death when he refered to me as a technician and I teach him his work every day. Most BSC holders are liability in the ministry. they dont contribute any thing and they rely so much on HND holders to help them. they said I am not an engineer but I design most of the projects they supervise. We will continue to import took pick if we dont encourage polytechnic education.

UDUAGHAN has done well for the state. the structure of the civil service should be reviewed particularly the SCHEME of service.

UDUAGHAN HAS TURN DELTA STATE TO DUBAI. ANY ONE WHO HAS NOT BEEN TO WARRI IN THE PAST THREE YEARS SHOULD GET SOMEBODY TO ESCORT HIM OR HER TO WARRI BECAUSE THE PERSON MAY MISS ROAD. UDUAGHAN HAS CHANGED WARRI TO DUBAI WITH FLY OVER AND GOOD ROAD NETWORK EVERYWHERE.

How many state goverenment can build airport. even FG coildnt build this kind of airport in six years. lets give kudos to the best PDP governor in Nigeria
