Politics / Re: Presidential Debate on NN24 by uzomaazu: 5:50am On Mar 19, 2011
We asked for a debate and we needed one and we got it.

But shameful my president did not show up but he had time to have an interview with D-Banj. With all honesty I most vote now and I encourage everyone to. Vote out those who think its there God given right to lead us. But dont have the decency on a fair ground to tell us their plan and defend it. This is the biggest insult Mr President(thank God not for long) can give to his citizens.

Buhari we know is totatly against corruption and we believe he would stamp it out. But then what after that, ? I guess that where he freezes. And that to me screams for a big disaster. If we needed a president for 3months to a year I guess he would be the MAN. But this is minimum 4 years.

Ribadu very excited fellow. Seems to know his onions about electricity. On the night what he seemed to have on offer was the fact that he is young. And a child of independence. How do solve the Niger delta issues? Would to discuss and plan(basically no plans yet he doesnt know). He was brilliant at highligting the problems of nigeria, we all know our problems but we need solutions.

Malam IBRAHIM SHEKARAU honestly did not know much about this fellow before the night. How much less think of voting the guy. Without a shadow of doubt was the best on the night. Offered real solutions. And being able to manage Kano state that their has been no crisis for 8 years as governor is impresive to say the least. Especially understanding what Kano was before him and knowing that it was a very volatile state. He has an Igbo man, yoruba man, ijaw man working for him in his state. Kano state!!!!!! You would have thought there is nothing wrong with indigenes having all the key positions in the state. But no this a man with understanding. His closing speech closed it for me.

Nairalanders if we use our heads I strong believe Malam IBRAHIM SHEKARAU is our President. This is a man who can represent on us on the international front with you feeling ashamed. A man with a plan and solutions. Vote wisely whatever you do, do not do not vote Jonathan he does not respect you and does not care what you think.

That's my 2 pence

Understood and I understand that. But if u read my 1st comment u will see where am going. What am talking about is how we can improve our fellow citizens life in Nigeria. And what little but positive impacts we can make. As no one will do this for us.

Please let us ignore the so called European illiterate who is evidently jobless.

And am quite dismayed that our fellow africans can say they deserved what they went through and what they are going through.
The issue at hand is we have a very corrupt government who loot without any conscience on how his next brother is faring or on how it will affect the average Nigerian. All they do is travel round the world, send there children abroad go for medical treatments overseas and never care about anyone but themselves.

What is the problem? We all fail to look on the inside, rather than think of what we can do in our country to benefit others and ourselves(because our land is fertile) we think how we can live large for today making no sacrifices. Let's all start something(need not be big) to help a Nigerian. If you all care have a little project help someone who is not related to you in anyway you can. And lets stop blabing.

Come to Nigeria if you believe in it. Get involved in goverment. The change starts from you. Remember this "Man must be Man for him land" (As late Fela said).

The law I can't wait to see put in place is that no Government official is allowed to send his/her kinds abroad, he/she with family inclusive allowed to have any medical treatment abroad. Trust me as soon as this is done.

We will see how Intelligent and innovative we are.

Let me see an European build the pyramid

Starting a new company at its very early stages guaranteed to do well. In need of aggresive salespeople the basic is close to nothing but you are guaranteed to earn #250K if you hit target and more if you do above. Commision is completely uncapped you determine what you earn.
Career / Re: Oceanic Bank Sack Over 1500 Staffs In 30days by uzomaazu: 1:08pm On Aug 12, 2009
I just think that Nigerian banks haven't been very prudent. I guessed this was going to happen and it is sad to say that more is likely to come. Its only in nigeria that I know that banks employ so many so called marketers to market their bank. What do you expect. It doesn't make sense that close to 50% off the their staff are out telling you to open an account with them. And truth be told u are never given a reason to open an account. (1 person getting approached by 10 different banks to open account why?)
