Yesterday was a great rally for APGA as more than 25,000 people attended the rally held at Ekwueme Square,Awka.

  Many APGA dignitaries such as Gov. Willie Obiano,Bianca Ojukwu,Owelle Mbaso and a host of other people attended the rally.

  Davido and his HKN crew entertained the crowd  with their performance. Gov. Obiano and Davido danced together as Davido sang his 'Gobe' track.

Friday was an unfortunate day for Moses Eric,a student of DS ICT Polytechnic,Abeokuta,Oguta State as he met his untimely death.

He was stabbed to death by his girlfriend at the DS ICT polytechnic,Abeokuta,Ogun state after a quarrel broke between the two lovers.In the process of arguing,his girlfriend dashed into her room,picked a knife and stabbed him in the chest.Eyewitness said the girlfriend is currently in police custody.

May his soul rest in peace,Amen.

Turtle Eco Car  To Holland For 2015 Shell Eco Marathon Competition.The car was unveiled last weekend by Dr Mohammed Dauda,the Engineering Faculty Dean

During the unveiling,he said...

“All materials used for this car were sourced locally.Though, there are things that we did not
fabricate ourselves, you will be surprised that some of the components like the electrical, we just looked at an old computer system and then
adopted some of the components that were useful
to us.So, this is one example of what we did,which is recycling, otherwise, I will say 100 per
cent of the things we used were produced here in Zaria”.

“In addition to federal government’s automotive policy, I must say that the reason we started this (manufacturing of the car) came from Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria
Limited. The car should be one that consumes little fuel but goes long distances.This
competition is held in America, Europe and Asia and we are participating in the European one in Netherlands in May this year.”
