Yesterday 14th March, 2015 marked a year we lost 18
Nigerians who lost their lives during the Nigerian Immigration
Service (NIS) recruitment exercise in 2014.

Many youths were also injured in the exercise.

President Jonathan gave 5million to each of the victims' families recently after a year of their demise.

Governor Fashola of Lagos State was on Friday taken to Papa Ashafa in Agege by the honourable Commissioner of Transportation in Lagos State, Hon. Kayode Opeifa.

Gov. Fashola was there to see the poor state of the drainage system of the area and the horrible side effects of rainstorm in the region.They were welcomed by the residents of the area.He assured them that work will commence there as soon as possible and also gave out cash gifts to victims of the rainstorm.

Nigerians have taken to twitter blast a guy named Tunji who dumped his long time girl friend(a girl he dated for 11yrs) for another girl.

To worsen the matter,Tunji reportedly got married to another girl today.Tunji and the lady he dumped started their love affair
when the lady was in her 3rd year at the age of 19.The lady is currently 30yrs old while Tunji is in his early 30s.

Nigerian celebrities Omoni Oboli, Toolz,Maria Okanrende and DJ Spinall have sent condolences to the families of the victims of robbery attack of FCMB at Lekki which claimed the lives of 4 policemen and 3 civilians.

According to a top military source, South African and foreign
soldiers have joined Nigerian troops in the fight against Boko
Haram insurgents.

The source revealed that the foreign soldiers have joined Nigerian troops in addition to troops from Niger and Chad.

It should be recalled that President Jonathan said on Wednesday in a chat with VOA that the foreign troops are in the country as technicians and advisers but the Nigerian soldiers revealed that the soldiers are taking part in the actual battle against the sect.

Armed robbers today stormed FCMB at Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1 Estate Lagos Nigeria,killing at least 6 peiple.

Eyewitness said the robbers were dressed in military uniforms.

A couple in Cross River State are now a guest at
a Police station in the State for inflicting several
wounds on their young child. Alvan and Ugonwa
Orji were reported by their neighbours to the
Principal Counsel of Basic Rights Council Initiative
(BRCI), who alerted the police.
The couple confessed they use electric cable on
him, tie him to a chair while they contantly beat
and yell at him. Surprising his father said they do
not so that the rest of 'Ogbanje' (Marine) children
in heaven won’t dare come to Nigeria. The couple said the boy has been the reason for
their misfortune.
