If it all disappeared tomorrow, where would you belong? This was the question I woke upon this beautiful morning. There's no amount of hardships the citizens may be experiencing now that is going to allay the fact of caring for this country to be a must for everyone. I wish all who at a point never give up on this country happy independence. #Nigeriagonnasurvive meanwhile this song is still the best for the season. I stumbled on it today, I swear this really worth the time https://my.notjustok.com/track/96041/shina-ayodele-nigeria-my-country |
really concerned about the man with the motorcycle |
When Nigeria got her independence on the 1st of October 1960, her citizen did not know the agony, joy, sorrow and trauma that lied ahead of her. On the eve of the independence day, definitely joy would not be far from the faces of Nigerians as they trekked out of colonial slavery. 56yrs after independence, Nigeria has not still taken shape. Imagine a nation blessed with abundant human and natural resources, suffering amist plenty. Pls lalasticlala, all mod on this section, i deposited a whole lot of God in you guys this day, have mercy on this country and take this to front page, loads of our leaders are here on Nairaland, change can be to their governance mind by merely listening to this song...thanks..link below https://my.notjustok.com/track/96041/shina-ayodele-nigeria-my-country

Let's advocate for a better Nigeria, when Nigeria got her independence on the 1st of October 1960, on the eve of the independence day, joy was beaming on the faces of Nigerians as they marched out of colonial slavery. 55yrs after independence, Nigeria has not still taken the desired shape. When a day like this comes every year, there are some thought provoking questions that comes to my department of thinking. Has Nigerian really benefitted from independence? Is life now better than it was before independence? Imagine a nation blessed with abundance of human and natural resources, suffering amist plenty. The challenge ahead of us all this time around is simple ""mindset orientation"" a situation and time when Nigerians will begin to talk positively about Nigeria, when Nigerians will have faith in Nigeria and a situation where Nigerians will rise up in defense of Nigeria. Let the journey start today, it will keep on getting better. If it all disappeared tomorrow, where would I and u belong? Throughout history, many generations and indeed, individuals have contributed their blood, sweats and tears preparing this country for you and me, the closer to home things are the more one seems to care, we all contributed a little something no matter how insignificant. We should all remember that this is our America, Lagos our London, Abuja our new York, port harcort our Dublin, kano our Barcelona, let the love starts as if it depends on your life, care as if you have no any other place to go except Nigeria. On my honor, I will do my best , to do my duty to God and my country. Happy birthday my beloved country. Shina Ayodele. |

[quote author=dearpreye post=38361123]Today, and once again, I'm writing on a very familiar issue. Degrees are outrightly overrated - especially down here in Nigeria. This system churns out thousands of graduates every single year, and almost all of these graduates have the same mindset of seeking and getting a job somewhere. Whether or not we accept it, the JOB MARKET is overcrowded and government won't give everyone a job. Actually every serious government should be more concerned with creating a supportive and enabling environment than creating jobs for its people. Every individual has a talent and a passion, and their wealth and fame lies in their vigorous pursuit of those passions and talents. It's about time everyone begins learning a skill OR start to develop some latent ability within them. There's nothing wrong with adding a skill to your degree. It could be learning plumbing, professional driving, wiring a house, tailoring, selling, carpentry, painting, fashion designing, etc, or it could developing some soft skills like becoming a great communicator, writer, or even becoming a motivational speaker or personal development expert. I had gone to give a safety briefing to some contractors and other management staff this day. After the briefing, one of the managers approached me, appreciated the manner of the talk and asked, " are you a motivational speaker?". Of course I sad NO. And she enthused I would make a good speaker if I could put my heart into it. I laughed away the talk, but the speech replayed later in my mind as I was preparing to retire to bed in the evening. I Googled on the topic and started to read almost all the materials that came up. That was how I started on the journey to personal development and motivational speaking. Last week, I went to give a give a talk to some youths. Although I refused to take a dime but I left there very fulfilled and I know I'm on my way to adding another skill to my skill pool. In this era, there's no limit to the skills we can acquire. At the moment, an old man is fixing some plumbing works for me. As we talked, he told me how he's been looking for youths to assist in learning that skill, but none has shown any interest. As an undergraduate, you can still make plans towards learning a skill while on campus. Skill is the way forward. No great nation ever took skill development for granted. It's time to learn a skill. Any skill can be a temporal source of income. Men are losing their jobs; competition is fiercer now than ever. Even if you're seeking to be the best in your chosen field, you can still add a skill. Any skill. Thanks for reading. Have a great day. Lalasticalal....nice write up bro, good to have you here...how can I have your dial, we gat some issues to dig out... |

⭕1. If you suck one nipple, the woman herself offers the other one. And that was the origin of "buy one get one free"! ⭕2. Did you ever notice: everything on a woman's upper body starts with a "B". Blouse, Bra, Bikini, Boobs & lower body with a "P" Peticoat, panties, pussy... That's origin of "BP"! ⭕3. Before sex, you help each other get naked. After sex, you dress only yourself. Moral: In life no one helps you once you're bleeped. ⭕4. Success is like pregnancy. Everybody congratulates you but nobody knows how many times you got bleeped to achieve it. ⭕5. Life is like a dick, sometimes it becomes hard for no reason. ⭕6. Practical thought: A husband is supposed to make his wife's panties wet, not her eyes. A wife is supposed to make her husband's dick hard, not his life..! ⭕7. When a lady is pregnant, all her friends touch her stomach ad say "Congrats!". But none of them come and touch the man's Penis and say "Well done!". Moral: Hard work is never appreciated: Only results matter. how do you see this to be nairalanders? |

Fellow nairalanders, hope you are having a splendid day? I decided to write this piece today for those who are aspiring to be a great cinematographer. There so many things cameraman needs to know if you want to be identify as a professional...three years gone in this field, with alot of bad and good experience, this and many more will come your way soon. This six tips will only not make you a professional but renowned you remarkably. * you needs to know about a television technology and how to operate a camera *you needs motivation and commitments, it might never appear so good at the beginning, its normal but with time you will be smiling to the bank. Commit yourself on needed task and make sure you have appealing results. *being social: you need to get on with people who are grieving, under stress etc. The truth is you will face so many as a cameraman, some people will not even know your worth but just wish to insult you all in the name of you shouldering a camera, relax your mind is part of the job. Taking things personally will not make you what you want to be in this field * you will also need to know what a good compositions are and must have a feeling for good shots. *manage contacts: having contact in the industry is very important, u needs to make more friends and connections. You might taught u might not need them, hmmmmm you will definitely one day need them. * be very very flexible: when challenges arise be in the right place at the right time. A saying goes "the highest form of ignorance is trying to reject something you know nothing about" be willing to learn anything that work hand in hand with your profession. I also needs to know how to fix almost everything, from a wireless microphone that start to behave weird, to a gel filter that keeps falling down, be able to fix some common problem your computer device might face like formating when been affected by inevitable viruses ßð††ðm lïñê.. ßê ¢rêå†ïvê whêñ lððkïñg fðr §ðlµ†ïðñ§ †ð þrðßlêm§ å§ måñ¥ †ïmê§, ¥ðµ wïll ßê ðñ ¥ðµr ðwñ. †hï§ rêåll¥ hêlþêÐ mê alot å§ åñ êxþêrïêñ¢êÐ ¢åmêråmåñ...jµ§† kêêþ w冢h å§ måñ¥ mðrê ¢ðmïñg ¥ðµr w奧.. fellow nairalanders, its nice to be here, have been a guest for years, and later realize nairaland is the best place you can just be... I was just editing a wedding ceremony on my laptop this morning, when a call came in to my phone, to my surprise it ended up to be a flash, I decided to call back being my ways, the voice I heard was that of a young man, telling me he is a road safety officer, that my number is found on girl lying unconscious and couldn't talk, telling me to send Recharge card of 200 so that he can use the lady number to call me back, saying the lady's phone is credits less... I hang up immediately and decided to share this with my beloved peeps to be wise with speed..this people don start again with another ways....#wiseup |
