Most likely baloney. If they didn't want to do another Evolution they could just have not done it. The first one was like 7 years ago. Why intentionally waste money to set a show up to fail as an excuse to not do the she again when you haven't done the site in 7 years? IWC logic is brain rotted.

I think the main reason for the it's lack of success is the poor booking of the women's roster. For example, Iyo Sky has barely gotten any screentime in the past couple of months. Most build ups to this event have been rushed and thrown together. Triple H should get lessons from HBK on how to book women.

As for the other reasons, I've already mentioned the poor timing of the event in another comment.

I'd think it's baloney too. I mean we're in the cash-grab era, every dollar counts even if it's made by women only. I think it's rushed, but from past experiences I still think women generally don't draw. I mean look at their ratings. Again, I don't still expect them to draw as much as men but focusing on talent only, will do a lot of help.

So worse case scenario but is likely true - WWE overworks Chad Gable till he's injured, and immediately he's gone they replace him with Ludwig to take over the role Gable worked so hard to make successful. Am I warm?

Rhea can cut a half decent promo, she can do interviews and live backstage segments. Iyo can only do one liners—at best—in english or pre-recorded promos in Japanese. This limits how far you can take her feuds in my opinion.

For some reason WWE just refuses to engage interpreters? We're saying it now, no one is listening. If they do it in future, the fans will tell us all how genius an idea it was.

That said, the hatred she gets from the IWC is waaaay too much. Black female wrestlers always gets 5x the criticism that others get.

Bianca Belair got flack for looking visibly when Kairi was late too spots during her match. Kairi later went on to forget she was the legal competitor in a tag team match, then Zoey Stark got injured when she tried to pull a drop kick because Kairi was late to the spot.

Bianca was green and stale some years back. She's adjusted but is still not a student of the game. People liked Naomi back in the day if I recall.
