Pls I need expert advise on the type of solar panels i can use for this inverter with the spec below. It's an SRNE HF-2430S80-H but my concern is that the Max PV input Current is 13A and I intend to get at least 4qty of 615W Jinko panels (to be in series) but the Max. input current for those panels exceed that of the inverter rating. I want to know and get an expert advice if this will be an issue for the inverter or if I need to go lower to say 590W panels which has about 13.36A input current.
I need advice from people here who may have the knowledge on this. And to know also if the max current for the solar panel rated is ever attained in real life. I want to be sure it's safe to use these panels with these ratings with my SRNE inverter with these specs.

Current is drawn based on what your inverter needs at a particular point in time. Even though your panel is able to supply a maximum current of 15amp, your inverter will only be able to draw a maximum of 13amp from it.

Don't forget, your panels will only be able to supply that maximum current when all favorable conditions are met.

Yes for 1 carport of 4 panels.

Anytime I want to remove them, I will first cut those binding wires used in holding the panels, offload the panels, then unscrew the bolts and nuts one by one.

After every thing is done, na only those two standing poles go remain. I will dig the concrete again with that my big iron rod and uproot the pipe.

After removing, I will fill and cement the floor. You no go know self say something dey there before.

I will move to a new location I want and install it there.

you should have used H channel iron instead of the round pipe...

Those ones will be too heavy for me to carry.

Every coupling there was done by me alone, from digging, to concrete to mounting.
The only time I called people to help was when putting the panels on it.

During heavy wind, you will see it shaking at the top but don't worry nothing go happen provided you maintained that depth and do proper concrete.

When I first installed it, I was busy then, I asked one guy to help me do the binding of the panels to the metal.

When I came back I did not even bother to check it, one day rain wanted to fall, the wind was heavy, na so I hear gbaaaa on my roof, I came out to check what it was, breeze don carry one panel throway for my roof. I was lucky it was on the roof it threw it. If it had been on the floor. The panel for don go.
When I checked why it happened, I noticed the guy used just one tiny binding wire to hold the panel in one place instead of at least 6 places.

I jejely go carry my thing commot for roof come do proper binding myself.

I made provision for 8 binding places but I only use 6. Four places is okay too provided you use thick binding wire.

Roughly 200k

A. The stands 2½ by 2mm galvanised pipe (2 pieces) 29,500 x 2 = 59,000
You can also use a thicker pipe.

B. 2½ by 6mm angle = 26.5k x 3 = 79,500 (one will be cut into two to stay on each pipe, the remaining two will link the two standing pipes)

C. 1½ by 4mm angle = 8.5k x 3 = 25.5k

F. I used size 17 bolts and nuts

**I cut 400cm from the pipe, between 70 to 80cm will go into the ground, the remaining 320 to 330cm will be above the ground.

**most panels are 114cm wide. Four of them will be 456cm. I cut this 456cm from the two 2½ by 6mm angle.

Attached is what I used for digging. It helped me dig faster and less stressful.

I made the carport in such a way that it is detachable.

When I was still using 4 panels, I erected it at the side of the building, when I noticed towards 4pm the building was shading it, I uprooted it and moved it to the front, before adding two more stands.

Landlords will even prefer this to placing panels on their roof.

Take for instance at 10:45am
See what I am generating from my home set up: string 1 = (4x615w), string 2 = (4x620w) and (4x625w) all Bifacial jinko panels on a carport.

Now imagine what I will generate around 12:30pm to 1:30pm

If you get money, just do solar carport. Na the best. All my panels are flat. No tilting at all.

I always felt it should generate more. When I add the extra 2 590w, it might get to 2.1kw. Not good enough I suppose

The generation is poor. Though, power generation depends on so many factors.

Panels work best on nearly flat surfaces.

Mostly 2.8kw. Maximum I have seen is 3.1kw.
With the first 6 panels o.

I have not really observed for the new 615 added because of the cloudy weather these days

Oga buy your 590w and use.

In my shop set up, I have two 550w, two 585w and two 590w (all Monofacial) connected in series and I don't have any issues at all.

Recently I wanted to add two more panels, I searched for 590w fouani no get, na so I buy 615w join am.

This is how it works.
In series, the same current pass through but different voltages. The smaller panels will limit the current of the flowing through the panels.

At the same current, the 590w panel will generate more watts than the 535w because it has higher voltage.

Though there will be a reduction in efficiency of the higher panels which I am OK with.

Before recommending a jinko 700w+ panels for someone, please ask them for their inverter max pv current o. The panel has a high current, and will most likely exceed 18a of these inverters.

Hi bassdow. Happy sunday. Please I need your quick input on this before I spend another money. My team of installer are saying the DC solar PV cable I got is not good enough. I bought the 6mm² cable. Two other installers I got quotation from both wrote 6mm² cable for the solar pv cables so I don't know why these people are saying the cable is not enough. Panel is 590watts.

If you are connecting your panels in series, then 6mm² is more than enough.
