Lol that's usually the symptom. Files will copy sure but many of them will be corrupted or won't play. Even 1tb micro sd cards are very expensive, I have not even seen 2tb in that form factor. Talk more of 6 dollars for 2tb. I'm just trying to help him before his purchase protection passes on aliexpress, but seems he's more "knowledgeable". Infact the only way to deal with these scams on aliexpress is to buy the fake 2tb on purpose, run the test, report and get full refund at least even if it's 20gb you got it for free lol. Although most times it's low quality and I won't advice someone to store sensitive files on it

Last year, jumia was running a promo. A friend saw one 500gb Samsung memory card for #3000. He sent me the link, as a tech person, I found it difficult to believe but I gave it a try. Ordered two of the memory cards (one for me and the other for my friend). It took like 10days before arrival since it shipped from abroad.
When it finally arrived, the first red flag I noticed was the absence of Samsung logo on it unlike the one advertised in the pics.

I said let me give it a try, picked mine and gave my friend the other.

I copied some files (about 60gb) into mine, it took all without issues and played everything. I was so happy, hoping to store more files the following day..

When I met my friend the following day, he narrated his ordeal with the memory card and I was dumbfounded. He had copied just 30gb files and the memory card complained of memory full. In his mind, I will manage it, after all 30gb for 3k is not too bad. The worst happened when he tried to play some videos, nothing played. Some music played while some refused.

When I got home, I picked mine, inserted it into my home theatre, no music played, I inserted back to the laptop, all files corrupted. I formated it, copied files again, got to 45gb and alerted memory full.

I just jejely called jumia to come and pick their property.
When the jumia agent came, I told him item not as described. I showed him the pictures of the one I ordered, showing Samsung logo and the one I received with no Samsung logo. I also let him know that the capacity is not up to what was advertised.

He collected them, asked for the invoice, (invoice wey I don throw way), I told him I can't find invoice. He said I should not worry that they will prepare another one for me.

Few days later, my money was returned to me.

I have used more than 7 different web browsers and the site refused to work.

Once you insert your tracking number, click track. It's either tracking info comes up or not.

1. If something comes up, then your package is with post office already and they've updated it.

2. If nothing comes up, it means:
a. Your package is yet to arrive naija
OR
b. It is already in naija but post office is yet to attend to it.

Your package will land in Lagos, from there NIPOST will send it to the post office closest to you

How about paycentre. I learnt they have the cheapest charge for transactions

I just got a call from post office that my March 12 order has arrived and funny enough, I have opened dispute and got a refund. So I decided to track on NIPOST, I was surprised that item has arrived 9ja since April 19.

Before this, I tracked on NIPOST, nothing came up.

I think the problem is our NIPOST not Ali express.

My second order (March 9) is still in transit. I am very sure that order has arrived Nigeria. And I have already opened dispute for that one too.

Let me go and cancel it and request for BP extension

Ordered 7 items in March and April. 2 were charged at 415 naira/usd and 425 naira/usd respectively, but the refund came at 445 naira/usd for each item, based on the current Access bank exchange rate. The remaining 5 orders put together totalled about150usd.The payment was made at 400 naira/usd, but I was refunded at 445 naira/usd. The funniest part of the story is that the two orders I got the refund yesterday landed in Naija today; as the tracking for both items this morning shows "insert item into domestic bag, Lagos impc(air) bla bla bla." Though I'll definitely re-pay the sellers when the orders finally get to me, MO TI JE LO this time! This awuff no fit run my bele. Thanks to Access bank for their outrageous exchange rate at this time, just a pity say I don dump them now for GTbank.

Hi everyone. I ordered this item on the 8th of March and yet to receive it. The buyer's protection expired on Saturday and I was told I have 15days to open dispute.

I opened dispute this morning and aliexpress said it is invalid that the item is already in my post office.
