Awwww! Ma'am, now this is awesome. This is how to be a real business man/woman.

Carefully taking note of the cost of production helps you to know if you are in profit or not.

Very good ma. Weldone, I'm very impressed.

Your liquid detergent is also looking very nice. I like your choice of color.

For the stamp, go to any artist for it. It used to be N1,000 but I think it's like N1,500 now. Just tell them you want a stamp for soap.

They will ask you for the name you want to use. Ensure you write out the name properly and if possible, spell it into their ears before they proceed or you will have a letter missing or added to your name. They are very good at that......

This is the kind of mold I've been talking about. It's a very simple construction and very easy to use kind of mold.

the springs inside the bigger wood is the cutter. There are different sizes, you can have one smaller than this.

The flat wood with edges round about is the mold where you pour the mixture. You can have as many as possible of them (the flat wood).

Once the soap harden and ready for slicing, you simply run it through the springs in the bigger wood, horizontally and vertically to get the them sliced into sizes.

Thanks.
Which kind person you be?
This is awesome!
I didn't believe there are people who have large hearts like yours.
Imagine!! Taking time to show how to produce common household products, with tips on sales, marketing and packaging. U are even giving out secrets!
If I had come across this thread last year, by now, I would have done become an employer of labour.

Heyllo Sir, depends on your location.

Then, no matter your location you shouldn't sell 5liters less than N1,500.

10 liters N2,500 - N2,700.

25 liters N 4,500- 5,000

Just so you know, the last supply we made to one of the camps here in South West was 10k for 50 liters. That was just few days ago. And that was done because they are our regular customers. The kegs (containers) were also made available by them.

Thanks.
Do you produce manually or with machines?
Because to produce 50litres? shocked

More power to your elbow!

this is 2017 there are lots of ways to make money even after losing your job. eg on fiverr, fiverr even pays and reward hardwork better. don't even wait to lose your job, all you need is a skill you can do digital jobs like video editing, animation, writing, graphics design , etc. for the lazy ones who would say I have no skill you can simply resell this services. am a video animator on fiverr God know how much I make monthly. apart from fiverr there are thousand of ways to make good money, so instead of crying after losing your job, brain storm. I love hardworking people no excuse in 2017 to be poor.
How do you do it?
No one is willing to show the way.

BusinessRe: How I Was Cheated By Zenith Bank ATM At Ojodu by Valobit(f): 4:18am On Mar 17, 2016
TeejayMaya:
I would try and make this as brief as possible.

I was at Ojodu yesterday and decided to branch at the Zenith bank ATM to withdraw some cash to enable I and my friend whom we were together to get fuel to our car since we were opportuned to see where fuel was available around.

My greatest shock however was when I approached the ATM and slots in my card to withdraw 6k from my account, lo and behold I was presented with N5,500 which comprises of 5 one thousand naira notes and 1 five hundred naira note. Being the typical me, I didn't wait to count the money there as I headed back to join my friend in the car and while we were approaching the filling station and decided to count the money, believe you me when I thought we had already seen it all in terms of corruption in this nation, I was perplexed and in immense confusion when I realised I have just being scammed in my country Nigeria by a bank's ATM.

Honestly, I am still enormously disappointed and had wanted to go back to the bank to lodge my complain but due to my busy and hectic schedule time is obviously not on my side really and also to imagine going into the bank to lodge complain and ranting over just N500 is kind of a disgusting thought to me. But sincerely I do hope I'd get to inform them when ever I am opportuned to go tothe bank for any transaction. Either ways, one thing I have learnt now is, this is Nigeria where any thing can happen most especially in this desperate time we are in, and hence forth I would never trust any ATM in Nigeria and ensure I do count my cash being withdrawn right there for crystal confirmation before leaving.

Love to round up by saying "Naija I hail o!"
People always laugh at me when ever I count money from ATM. This is Nigeria where anything is possible

Wow!! U see! Iyomomo kudosThese skills should not be limited to Nairaland. Now We can have our own big crochet hooks. Next is for us to develop unique yarns. The internet is there to teach us what We need to know. Abeg let us make this work. Together We can create jobs for ourselves and even employ others. One road doesn't lead to the market. Extra income is not a taboo.

@Julesrule, that's a beautiful dress you made there. More power to your hook.

@Everyone. We should start manufacturing our own yarn, like the pretty multicolored one Julesrule used.
Hello dearies. It has been a while. Happy new mont. Ynnk, how are u doing? Thanks once more for rekindling interest in crocheting. Manufacturing our own shouldn't be rocket science. The makers of the yarn We use in Nigeria can be approached and convinced to make bigger caliber of yarns and multi-colored yarns. That is one of the reasons I wanted us to have a group. As a group We can meet the makers and sell them the idea of producing other kinds of yarn. We have to show that there is a potential market. Another reason is for is to create a forum to showcase our products. We could even have a trade fair on wool works. We could start with getting a space at the next international trade fair. My sistwrs, we have a marketable skill. So let us utilize it.

My sister, nno o! The idea is to get ppl who love crocheting and knitting together. Overseas, they have such groups. People have been involved in crocheting and knitting before independence, but no group. I believe with the renewed interest in Made in Nigeria products, we stand a chance of promoting our creativity. Lovemaths has created a Facebook group. I have also created a whatsapp group. The whatsapp number is 07037679643. Trublvr has joined. trublvr:
She smiled, turned and left, her heart racing, her palms sweating as she waited for the call.

It never came. No one would ever question her actions.

When, 6 months after the relationship began, she noticed his odd new habit of taking his phone to the toilet, her gut told her something was off, but she chose to ignore it.
After a while, he stopped doing that and completely out of the blue, apologized to her and said he would try harder.
In her heart, she stored the first stone.

A month later she had been drowsy from a hard day at work, dozing off on the couch when suddenly he sprang to his feet and said he had to go out because his friend called and there was an emergency.
"But your phone didn't ring, sweets" she said, apropos of nothing. His eyes darted away and back to her face, like smooth pebbles over mud. In that instant, she knew he was lying as her gut rolled over.
"Erm, it did but eh...you know you were so sleepy", he blustered as he grabbed his keys and practically ran out.

She didn't see him until the next night after work. She said nothing about his friend's impromptu "emergency".
In her heart, she placed a second stone next to the first.

By the time they had been together a year, she knew of 3 other women he was seeing regularly as well. In a blazing rage, she confronted him about them, and asked if her wanted to break up so she wouldn't stand in his way. He knelt before her, supplication in every gesture as he promised to do better by her, to change his ways and focus on their relationship. She never confronted him, or asked him about the other women again.

But she was storing her stones.

She could see them sometimes in the succeeding months, those stones in her heart. They were slowly becoming a wall to seal off her love for him from herself. With each new indiscretion he committed, she built it. Each stone had a name, even though he'd given her none. She christened them herself, in her pain and sorrow. The Girl From Work, The Woman Who Sent the Nude Selfie, The School Friend he Claimed was Stalking Him...

At the end of their second year, he had gotten them a dinner reservation, and she thought he would propose. When dessert came, he told her he had met someone else, and that he didn't want to be with her anymore. She stared into her lime and mango sorbet and said nothing. Her wall was so high now that she felt nothing, simply watched the words come out of his mouth. And then, in that numbness, she heard a click in her head and decided to end his life. So she made all the right noises, cried a little and asked him to take her home. Perhaps he felt sorry for her, for as they got into bed, he held her close, kissing her lips and stroking her throat. She was drifting off to sleep when she felt him slide into her.

How peculiar to lie here and not feel anything, she thought. And to think that his touch used to inflame me!
The next morning, a Saturday, she got him breakfast as always. She had a routine for this, a pattern that comforted her. Today she went through the motions calmly, almost zombie-like. She was calm when she locked the door, shut the windows and put on his Afro-beat music. The neighbours knew he listened to loud music on Saturday mornings as he did his chores. She was calm when the tomatoes splattered oil on her arm, when the tray was set, when she made his coffee and poured the contents of a bottle of insecticide in his egg stew and stirred, humming softly to herself.

She was calm as she watched him eat every bite of his delicious last meal, watching the yam go in his mouth and understanding that even his irritating chewing was another stone. She was calm when he threw up and screamed in pain, clutching his stomach.

He died noisily, spasming on the floor like a beached whale. She smelled his bowels as they evacuated, but still she was calm. How like him to be so full of shit! she thought. When he finally stopped twitching, she washed the dishes, took a shower and put all her things in the boot of her car. It took 4 trips, but she managed, working like an automaton. Only then did she allow herself to feel something other than that deathly calm. She could feel the strength and impenetrability of that wall, and wondered if she mightn't go and get some frozen yogurt today, as a special treat to herself.

The idea cheered her up as she smiled, turned and left.

Hello beautiful ladies. Lovemaths called me, and she has agreed to form a Facebook group for crocheters and knitters. I have agreed to start a whatsapp group for us. I have posted my number on this forum. U could send me a whatsapp message so that I'll get the whatsapp group started.
Crocheting is a beautiful art. And one unique thing is that it can not be mechanized. That is, there is no crochet machine in existence. Therefore we are unique. But that also poses a problem. If u have a large amount of jobs to be done, it could be tiring because u will use ur hand a lot.
That is one reason I want this association created. I believe, with brilliant people like u guys, it will go places.
Pls add me on whatsapp, let's hit the ground running.
God bless.
