Career / Five Excellent Ways You Can Earn Credibility In Your Industry by ValourDigest(m): 1:20pm On Jan 26, 2021
The business world today is fraught with danger. There is always one competitor or the other who is looking for the best way to take out your business. You wish that it wasn’t so, but it is, and if you aren’t careful, they’ll capitalize on any weaknesses and steal whatever advantage over you that they can. This is why it is important for you to earn credibility in your industry.

Your credibility is what convinces your buyers that you’re good enough to be patronized. It is what allows investors to come back to you over and over again to boost your business. When you earn credibility in the industry, unless you can find an equal force that has been able to do the same, you’re likely to dominate because people often buy from the brands they trust already. So, how do you earn credibility?

1. Be trustworthy

This is the number one way for you to earn credibility in your industry. Your customers must be able to attest to the fact that you always deliver on what you say at all times. So, at every turn, do your best to ensure that you do not dupe your customers with hidden costs. Alongside that, make sure that in the provision of services or sales of products, you are as transparent as possible.

Crime / How Nigeria Truncates The Dreams Of Young Men by ValourDigest(m): 9:16am On Jan 25, 2021
If you’re wondering why we randomly decided to talk about how Nigeria truncates the dreams of young men in the country, allow us to bring you up to speed. For a significant part of the previous week, various media outlets were filled with stories about the death of a bright and promising young man – David Ntekim-Rex.

According to numerous reports, he was murdered during a robbery in Lagos state. He was taken to the hospital. But, unfortunately, he died regardless. Some reports state that the police watched him as he bled to death. But, the Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, insisted that this wasn’t exactly true.

According to the Public Relations Officer, “He was accepted at LUTH and confirmed dead. The family returned to the police to get extracts at the station for a mortuary. So, the allegation of the police abandoning him is not true.”

At this point, it is a little hard figuring out who to believe. However, regardless of what the case was, one fact still stands – David is dead, and nothing can bring him back.

In more ways than one, this is incredibly painful. If not for anything else, at least for the fact that the country could have done better. The country could’ve done better to protect the lives and properties of its citizens such that they can walk freely without the fear of having their lives taken away from them.

Family / Do You Have A Dysfunctional Family? by ValourDigest(m): 9:10am On Jan 24, 2021
A dysfunctional family is one that isn't particularly conducive for the children to grow and seems to have everyone in a relatively unsavoury mood most of the time. Having this type of family is really not the best type of thing for you and your kids because it could lead to severe levels of emotional imbalance.

More often than not, it is the fault of the wife and husband if the family isn't functioning as it should. Consequently, it is their responsibility to make sure that the family goes back to being a proper place for the growth of the children if the place is already unconducive.

But, it's not quite possible to fix a problem that you don't know is there, is it? That's why we'll be outlining signs of a dysfunctional family to you. Pay attention, chief.

1. Addiction

Addiction could rear its ugly head in many different forms. It could be alcohol addiction or drug addiction, among others. Regardless of what it is, it is a sign that things aren't particularly right in your family. If you or your wife happen to be the addicted ones, the chances are that it takes a significant toll on the children because you're not always yourself. If, on the other hand, the children are the addicted ones, this is even worse because they might be looking to escape their emotional troubles by engaging in substance abuse.

Literature / The Best Novels To Read When You Really Don't Need Your Screen by ValourDigest(m): 11:30am On Jan 23, 2021
If you're here, then you're probably an avid reader like we are. As such, you must agree that spending all day and night on your screens is as tiring as it's unhealthy. There's just something about the pages of the best novels to read that is worlds better than keeping your nose pointed at your screens all day.

We've read a couple of good books in the past before. We must admit, we have our favourite authors. But, we'll keep this list as unbiased as we can. Without wasting too much of your time because we know your books won't read themselves, here are the best novels to read to get away from your screen.

1. The Last Stand by Stephen King

This one right here is quite lengthy. We read the uncut edition, and that was upwards of a thousand pages long. However, every last bit of it was absolutely delicious. The story is about a post-apocalyptic earth where much of humanity has been wiped out by a mutated flu virus. What's left of mankind now has to contend with each other as the remainder of humanity splits into a Satan-like force of evil and a God-like force of good.

Foreign Affairs / Ugandan Presidential Elections: Lessons From Bobi Wine by ValourDigest(m): 3:55pm On Jan 22, 2021
Earlier this week, we spoke about President Yoweri Museveni and his hold on power for more than 35 years. The second part of his story and the yin to his yang, if you will, is none other than Bobi Wine.

Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, ran against the political giant in his country this month for the position of the president. Bobi Wine seemed incredibly passionate about getting the country on track and doing what was best for her.

Unfortunately, as you know already, he didn’t win. However, despite this loss, Bobi Wine is still a man whose actions are worthy of emulation in more ways than one. To help you understand what we mean, we’ve compiled a list of the top three things you can learn from Bobi Wine despite/because of his loss:

Your past doesn’t define you
Bobi Wine didn’t begin his life the richest person in Uganda or any part of the world, really. Before his music, it’s safe to say that this exceptional young man was fairly unknown. However, he gradually built himself. From his music to its promotion and everything else in between, Bobi Wine applied just the right amount of effort. In no time, he became one of Uganda’s celebrated artists and the Kyandodo East Member of Parliament Seat winner – a highly contested position.

Romance / 5 Reasons Ladies Might Turn You Down by ValourDigest(m): 3:46pm On Jan 22, 2021
Let’s say you are an average well-to-do man. You are good looking and some may even compare you to a cool glass of chocolate on a sunny day. I mean, you seem to have everything any lady would want. Then, you approach a beautiful lady and she says “I am not interested and I do not want to date you.” The next question you might want to ask yourself is “What could be wrong?” Well, so many things are wrong, but you didn’t know. Today, we’d be sharing with you some five reasons ladies turn men down.

So, here we go. Ladies turn men down for a variety of reasons. Let’s take a look at some of these reasons.

Career Ambition
There are ladies out there who will only date men of a certain profession because they want men who would cheer them on rather than hinder them from their own ambitions. So, even when a guy tries so hard, if he doesn’t fit their requirements, they won’t date him. Therefore, men need to come to terms with this and approach the right person.

Some ladies just want a man who can show support for their career ambition.

Nairaland / General / Elon Musk Becomes The World’s Richest Man. How Strange. by ValourDigest(m): 11:14am On Jan 22, 2021
On the 7th of January, 2021, one of the world’s best-humoured entrepreneurs was announced as the world’s richest man. Elon Musk who had a major hand in different companies including Tesla, SpaceX, and a host of others, had a net worth higher than $185bn, according to the BBC. This put him ahead of Amazon giant – Jeff Bezos – who had had a monopoly on the title since 2017.

Of course, for those in the finance world, this development wasn’t much of development at all. For them, it was just about time. For everyone else, however, it seemed to be a bit of a shocker. This is especially so considering the fact that less than ten years ago, in an article posted on Forbes, Elon Musk was only worth about $2bn.

If you do the math, you’ll realize that he has grown more than $100bn in less than a decade – the time it takes the average person to pay off their student debts in applicable countries. For any human being, that is a lot of growth. Even for someone as rich as Jeff Bezos, $100bn is a lot of money and losing it would be too much of a horror.

Business / 5 Questions You Should Ask In An Interview by ValourDigest(m): 11:08am On Jan 22, 2021
Ordinarily, you might think that an interview is just an opportunity for the company to get to know you. After all, it is through this process that they’ll determine that you’re the right fit for the job. As such, you might never prepare any questions you should ask in an interview.

However, it shouldn’t be so. Business is an exchange involving two or more people. This means that they have just as much to gain from you as you have to gain from them. So, you need to ask questions to figure out if this is the best for you. To get you started, here are some questions you should ask in an interview.

1. What do the daily responsibilities look like?
This is one of the questions you should ask in an interview because it’s one of the most important. If you do get the job, asking this question will help you prepare your mind for what to expect. Your interviewer should be able to succinctly explain what it’s like to work on the job every day.

Foreign Affairs / Ugandan Presidential Elections: What Is Africa’s Problem? by ValourDigest(m): 11:00am On Jan 22, 2021
The Life and Times of President Yoweri Museveni
In his early forties, he became the president of the country. It was in the 80’s, part of the country’s formative years. Many people could not but beam with hope. What some Africans believed could’ve been a step in the right direction turned out to be not much of a step at all.

About ten years after becoming the president, his time was up. Or, so we thought.

He ran for president again and won by what you can definitely call a landslide with 74.2% of the total votes in Uganda’s first direct election since her independence. From that period, he reigned? Ruled? Led? Yes. Let’s use that term out of our love for democracy.

Career / A Career Tailspin: How To Get Out Of It by ValourDigest(m): 7:19am On Nov 30, 2020
Permit us to assume for a second that you don’t know what a career tailspin is exactly. The term is used to refer to a situation where your career isn’t quite going the way you want it to. You’ve been working for a while, and things had been going fine, but all of a sudden, it seems like you’re stuck in a rut, or things are just spiralling out of control.

It could be as a result of bad decisions like accepting a bad job offer. However, sometimes, it can be entirely out of your control. Regardless of which one it is, you still need to be able to get your career back on track. In this article, we’ll be looking at just how you can do so.

1. Rise up to responsibilities

This might not be the case for everyone, but the reason you feel things aren’t quite heading in your direction anymore may be because you allowed yourself to relax too much. Perhaps you got too comfortable in one position and then just allowed the winds of the corporate world to blow you every which way. If this is something you still do, the chances are that the winds will blow you in a direction you’re not too happy with. So, take charge of your own life and start working towards getting things better. Within your office, rise up to responsibilities. To do this, you have to become more proactive at work. We’ve come up with a little something that can help you learn how to be more proactive at work. You should click here to see what we mean.

But, it’s actually quite normal, given that a lot of people have gone through the same thing before.

What is a Midlife Crisis?

To put it into perspective, a midlife crisis is a series of events that essentially reminds middle-aged people of their mortality as well as their relative lack of significant achievements in life. It usually leads to depression and other forms of psychological distress.

For women, a major point of midlife crisis is usually when they hit menopause as it is a reminder that they’re not growing any younger. For men, it could be in the form of erectile issues, the death of a parent, poor job satisfaction, etc.

How do you Cope with a Midlife Crisis?

Regardless of the cause, you need to find a way to deal with midlife crisis as it can have negative effects on your mental health. Here’s how you can pull that off:

1. Decide to do something about it

If you’re sad about your life not going the way you want it to go, you should know that nothing will change until you make an active decision to bring about change in your life. No amount of sulking or being sad matches the amazing effects of getting up and deciding that you want to be something.

Romance / 6 Steps To Dealing With An Emotionally Unavailable Partner by ValourDigest(m): 7:46am On Nov 28, 2020
Some people like to believe that relationships are essentially about love and that all you need to do is ride on emotions. That, unfortunately, isn’t entirely true. Relationships require a significant amount of effort to survive, and it can be even harder when you have to start dealing with an emotionally unavailable partner.

One thing you should note is that an emotionally unstable person is different from one who is emotionally unavailable. You can read about emotionally unstable people here.

Having said that, you’ll need to learn the steps to dealing with an emotionally unavailable partner when your woman isn’t connecting with you on an emotional level. It can be pretty frustrating when you think about it. However, if you want the relationship to survive, you might have to do it. But how?

1. Recognize the signs

To even deal with the problem at all, you need to first know what the signs are. Among other things, an emotionally unavailable partner won’t feel comfortable telling you how they feel. They’ll constantly change the topic and leave you feeling alone in every conversation.

2. Try to understand the causes

Emotional unavailability can happen for any number of reasons. Sometimes, it can be temporary. This is usually when there’s a shift in the person’s priorities, and they need to focus on another part of their lives. However, it could also be relatively more permanent like when the person has undergone a very traumatizing event in the past.

Health / 6 Easy Tips To Help Improve Your Posture by ValourDigest(m): 7:55am On Nov 27, 2020
Your posture is an important part of how you look, and it affects your skeletal health in more ways than one. If you’re already the type of person who doesn’t exactly pay much attention to how they position themselves, you need to learn how to improve your posture.

There are several long-term benefits of doing that, from increased balance to reduced pain and everything else in between. You can check here for the full list. Want to gain all that? Then, check out our tips to improve your posture.

1. Do not slouch

You slouch when you bend your back unnecessarily. In this position, you look like a walking C. It might not be very pronounced such that people are constantly telling you to straighten up. But it is still bad. Over time, it can cause digestion issues because you’re literally squeezing your organs together. Alongside that, you’re bound to experience back pain.

2. Don’t slump when working at your desk

We must admit that it’s pretty comfortable just to let your body go. This is especially so when you’ve been working for hours. But, as we’re sure you know, it does more good than bad. So, whenever you’re working, always sit up straight. You can do this by sitting up properly in your chair with a lumbar pillow to support your spine.

Nairaland / General / How To Boost Your Mood When You're Sad by ValourDigest(m): 8:39am On Nov 26, 2020
When you’re sad, scientifically speaking, it is as a result of your brain releasing certain chemicals that trigger the feeling of sadness. In other terms, it could mean that something bad has happened to you and you’re merely reacting to emotional stimuli. Regardless of what it is, the truth is that it isn’t easy to boost your mood when you’re sad.

Some people might disagree and say that you can boost your mood if you really want to, but we think that’s up for debate. However, just because it is difficult to boost your mood doesn’t necessarily mean that it is completely impossible. You merely need to engage in a series of activities that will trigger the release of happiness hormones in your brain. So, which activities are those? How exactly can you boost your mood?

1. Listen to lively music

A number of individuals across the world are quite fond of playing or listening to sad music when they’re sad. Instead of putting something that has a nice ring to it, they put on their least catchy song, lock themselves in their room and start mulling over the source of their pain. It is how they deal with their issues, but it’s not the healthiest thing to do. So, if you’re sad, put on some good tunes. A close alternative is watching a good movie. Here’s a list of the best ones you can watch now.

2. Take a walk

Sometimes, you might’ve cooked yourself up for too long. Humans are social animals, and we need to constantly mix with other people and see the outside world to maintain proper levels of happiness. If we don’t, well, we’re going to get sadder. So, when you’re feeling down, try taking a walk. You can do so for as long as you’re comfortable doing it.

Business / 5 Mistakes To Avoid When Running An Online Business by ValourDigest(m): 8:12am On Nov 25, 2020
Much like a brick and mortar establishment, running an online business comes with its own challenges. You don’t get to see your customers physically, and there is always someone who is competing fiercely with you to bring you down. If you’re not careful, the competition might succeed in taking your business off the face of the internet.

That’s why you need to put in special effort in making sure that you avoid certain mistakes while running an online business. Indeed, there are many different mistakes you can make. But, not all of them have the potential to mess things up for you royally. However, apart from the fairly inconsequential mistakes, as a general rule of thumb, you should definitely avoid making these five mistakes.

1. Having no plan or strategy

So many start running an online business with little to no plans on how they’re going to scale, improve, or better their craft. It is incredibly sad because it could have dire effects on the business. Yes, an online business is much more convenient than the physical counterpart. But, that doesn’t mean you should completely ignore the planning phase. Depending on how big your business is, you might not need a 30-page plan, but you definitely should get something written down, and it should detail how you intend to run and grow your business.

2. Ignoring customer care

In the virtual world, customer care is everything. This is especially so because your customers can go to another place and leave positive or negative reviews about you. Alongside that, and as we mentioned earlier, there is always a competitor waiting to take away your hard-earned customers. So, if you’re looking to actually succeed in your online business, you definitely shouldn’t ignore your customers. Doing so will most likely spell doom for the business.

After all, you’re still very young with your entire life ahead of you. Still, if you can, you should make as much effort as possible in the area of landing internships. This is especially so considering that most students across Nigeria have been on an indefinite strike for more than seven months. Nairaland / General / Perfectionism III: How To Stop Being A Perfectionist by ValourDigest(m): 7:30am On Nov 22, 2020
Two weeks ago, we started our series on perfectionism. In the first part of the topic, we looked at the signs that point to you being a perfectionist. In the second part, we spoke about the dangers that exist in the world of perfectionism. Among other things, we mentioned that this problem could cause feelings of depression. Today, we’ll be looking at how to stop being a perfectionist.

Like most other “mental conditions,” you don’t just stop being a perfectionist by wishing you could stop. It takes weeks of hard work and dedication to the cause, and you must constantly be on your toes to ensure that you don’t slack off. However, you must know that it’s not impossible.

So, how do you stop being a perfectionist? Let’s find out!

1. Acknowledge that everyone makes mistakes

At the beginning of our crusade against perfectionism, we mentioned that humans weren’t granted the gift of perfection. It’s just not in our biology. If we were to look at it from an artistic point of view, we’d say that humans are just a combination of perfect imperfections. So, if you want to move on from the perfectionist state of mind, you simply have to start telling yourself that no one is above mistakes. Not you nor your biggest source of motivation is an exception to this. All humans are prone to it, and there’s no denying that.

Health / What Are The Benefits Of Good Posture by ValourDigest(m): 9:16am On Nov 20, 2020
It might be hard for you to understand if you’ve never quite paid that much attention to good posture before. However, you should know that there are several benefits of good posture for your body. It doesn’t just make you look good. It helps to prevent several things from happening regarding your health.

So, what are the benefits of good posture? What do you stand to gain when you decide to be a bit more conscious about how you sit, stand, or lie down? Let’s find out, chief!

1. It improves your balance and alignment

One of the benefits of good posture is that you have better alignment and balance. This is because bad posture causes your body to shift or lean forward/backwards unnaturally. As such, your legs and your spine constantly have to work harder to support that weight. It’s a little like tilting an object on a stick too far to one side. Eventually, everything will come crashing down. With good posture, however, your legs and spine can easily carry you around.

Romance / Signs That You Might Be Marrying The Wrong Person by ValourDigest(m): 9:35am On Nov 19, 2020
This is one topic that we can definitely consider a huge elephant in the room. Marriage is a lifelong commitment that nobody wants to fail at. Unfortunately, sometimes, humans make mistakes and there is the slightest possibility that we might be marrying the wrong person.

Yes, it is indeed a hard pill to swallow. She’s your (potential) wife, and she was nothing short of perfect when you first met her. However, it is still something worth considering if you’ve noticed that you’re having a ton of problems. While the chances are pretty slim, you should still lookout for these signs to see if you might be marrying the wrong person.

1. You constantly feel lonely, despite being in a committed relationship with her

Here, we’re not talking about mental health issues that can cause feelings of loneliness. Alongside that, we’re not talking about the occasional need for companionship that you might have. No, we’re talking about feeling genuinely lonely even when she is right there by your side, talking to you. This usually means that the feelings you have are not equal on both sides.

So, always move around with your business card. That way, if you run into someone who might be of use to your business, you can just hand it over to them. Not only will it market you as a serious professional, but it will also help them contact you when necessary.

Nairaland / General / A Guide To Getting Out Of Self Pity by ValourDigest(m): 9:53am On Nov 17, 2020
You can get into self-pity for any number of reasons. It could be after a major rejection. Despite our hard exterior as men, we know that it’s not particularly easy to get over it when a girl we truly like tells us she’s not interested. Alongside rejection, it could also be the loss of an opportunity or a job or something else of that sort.

By all means, these problems are particularly unpleasant to deal with, and they can cause negative emotional reactions that are quite painful to deal with. But, you’ll go beyond grieving and move into self-pity when you start constantly complaining about your problem for a really long time. It is very unhealthy, and you need to fix it. How?

1. Face your feelings

Instead of always running away from the problem or drowning it in several bottles of alcohol, face what is happening to you and come to terms with it. Is it your fault? No. Is it your responsibility to deal with the problem? Absolutely. So, start dealing with the problem and come to terms with how you feel about the problem.

Career / Four Things Your Boss Expects From You At Work by ValourDigest(m): 9:05am On Nov 16, 2020
Today, more and more people are trying to push the narrative that nobody owes anyone anything. The entire purpose of that ideology is to help people let go of their entitlement mentality and actually work hard to make something of and for themselves. Indeed, this cause is noble. But, if we’re being honest, everyone expects something from everyone else. This is especially true in a place of business where there are certain things your boss expects from you at work.

But, what are those things your boss expects from you at work? Should you even be bothered about them if you’re already delivering well on your job? Well, yes, you should be bothered about them. Just don’t do it obsessively. And to answer the first question, here are the things your boss expects from you at work:

1. Commitment and enthusiasm

The truth is that most of the work you do at your place of business is to help to bring your boss’s dreams to pass. Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If your company exists to help starving children in Africa or to alleviate poverty, that is certainly a noble cause. Regardless of what the purpose is though, your boss expects you to be committed and enthusiastic about your work so that the purpose can be achieved. Besides, that’s one of the many things that would help you function optimally.

2. Ideas and suggestions

Constructive criticism is excellent. It helps to point out the flaws inherent in our plans and to let us see that they could be better. Any reasonable individual would appreciate it if it comes in the right way. However, your boss doesn’t just want you to criticize. If you do that too much, it will paint you out as a negative individual. So, alongside your criticisms, your boss expects you to be able to provide ideas and suggestions to help improve the company.

Nairaland / General / Perfectionism II: Dangers Of Being A Perfectionist by ValourDigest(m): 7:24am On Nov 15, 2020
A few days ago, we started a miniseries on perfectionism. In our very first article, we explained the signs of perfectionism to help you identify if you’re actually a perfectionist. Among other things, we mentioned that perfectionists are bossy, obsessed with rules, and even unable to work under the pressure of their own high expectations.

You should know that perfectionism usually does you more harm than good. If you happen to be a perfectionist, the chances are that you won’t exactly spend your days filled with glee and a perfect state of mental health. But, that’s a bit vague. Let us look at the specific dangers of perfectionism.

1. It puts you under a significant amount of stress

When you’re always trying to make things perfect, it means that you’re always on your toes. You’re always trying to see the next best way to do something. That might be a good thing.

But, imagine spending up to seven hours ironing just three clothes because you want them to be absolutely free of all creases. Eventually, your body will start to bend under the pressure you’re putting it, and you’ll get too tired to continue. This is what perfectionism does to you.

You might be wondering if it is possible to make weight loss mistakes when losing weight is as straightforward as eating less and exercising more. Well, the truth is that it is possible, and we’ll be spending the next few points showing you how.

1. Focusing on your scale numbers alone

It is perfectly normal and okay to use the scale to measure your progress in weight loss. However, it is a huge mistake to think that it is going to be accurate all the time. Why? Well, the scale doesn’t just measure the fat in your body. It also measures and fluids and the water in you as well. So, what you think might be fat after stressing yourself at the gym for five consecutive weeks might just be all the water or muscles in your body adding to your numbers.

Career / 3 Easy Ways To Become More Proactive At Work by ValourDigest(m): 9:49am On Nov 09, 2020
Without a doubt, we can confidently say that one of the major things your boss expects from you is to be more proactive at work. Of course, you aren’t meant to butt your head into everyone’s business all the time, as it would be plain rude and unprofessional. But, there is just something about a complacent worker that doesn’t sit well with most organizations.

Now, because we care, we have come up with three major ways for you to actually become more proactive at work. By following these steps, you’re sure to get on your boss’s good side and increase your productivity on multiple levels. They are:

1. Asking for feedback after completing a task

Most people would just go ahead to submit their tasks and forget all about it. After all, they’ve done what they were asked to do, and it doesn’t seem all that bad. Well, that mentality is a major thought pattern that follows most complacent employees. Unfortunately, sooner than later, it usually gets them in trouble. So, even before your boss gives you an appraisal or criticizes your work, ask them to give you feedback on what you’ve done. It is a clear indicator that you’re willing to learn and improve on yourself.

Nairaland / General / Perfectionism I: Are You A Perfectionist? by ValourDigest(m): 7:37am On Nov 08, 2020
Starting today, we’ll be doing a mini-series on perfectionism. Our aim is to help you identify if you’re a perfectionist or to see the traits that are common in people affected by perfectionism, at the very least. Alongside that, we also want you to know the dangers that come with the condition because it’s really not a very flattering thing, no matter how you see it. Finally, we want to help you work through it if you have this issue.

So, are you a perfectionist? It would be easy to say no because you’re not always looking for things to be perfect. But, it’s a little more complicated than that as perfectionists have a varying array of qualities. Here are some signs you might notice in yourself if you’re a perfectionist.

1. You constantly feel like you can’t do anything right

This is a sad offshoot of your desire to do everything perfectly. Unfortunately, humans aren’t gifted with the ability to be perfect. Nobody really is. So, if you feel the need to be perfect at something, you’ll probably never get to that level. While this is a normal thing for other people, a perfectionist would most likely start feeling sad and incapable of doing things right.

2. You’re a major procrastinator

Being a procrastinator is widely believed to be a result of laziness. Quite the contrary, really. If you’re a perfectionist, you might get a task and feel very incapable of completing it perfectly. As such, you might just continue pushing it off until it’s too late.
