The first issue with that dead car, steering pump (which you confirmed while the mechanic was with you).

Little did I know your car had other in born issues.

Master brake was f*cked. You go dey inside traffic, hold brake, car go dey roll.

You put ball joints that were too small for the car, then constructed a metal and welded it to both ball joints. Una do well.

Engine had already been worked on.

Steering was still as stiff as rock even after changing the steering pump.

All engine seats were bad. ALL of them!

The so-called tyres you claimed were “Grade A” were bad! Especially the two in front.

Every month, issue go dey.

I pity whoever buys your cars.

I have no regrets, everything is a lesson.

But, I pity whoever buys stuff from you. You don’t know a damn thing about maintaining cars. Tueh!

The mechanic checked all papers before he drove the car out of the compound. Original duty, roadworthiness, vehicle license, proof of ownership. ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS were in the glove compartment.

That the buyers were careless enough to misplace it is none of my business!

Excuses upon excuses. As in, very stupid excuses. After agreeing that I’ll pick the plate numbers tomorrow, buyer called now to say she has wedding next week and she wan use am. Plate numbers she claims she has already removed. God forbid!

Now the so-called princeonlinebiz isn’t picking. I have to be following up on that one. God forbid for these kind of people.

I really hate to do this, but it has to be done.

Some months ago, I contacted princeonlinebiz (also MorrisonAutos) so I could sell my car. He was able to get me a buyer, and the sale was done Sept 23rd. The buyer had sent his mechanic to check his car and pick it up. Everything was finalized that Friday afternoon.

Princeonlinebiz begged me to allow the mechanic use the plate numbers on the car to take it to its destination and return them the following Monday. I allowed him.

On Monday I called the mechanic. He first claimed he was in his way to pick up the plates from the new owner. I followed up again, and he said I should contact the buyer. He gave me his number. I spoke with the guy, he begged me to allow him use the plates till he registered the car. I didn’t have an issue with that cos i was also using someone’s plates. I thought I was dealing with people that had sense.

From September till now, both the buyer and the middleman have been very dubious in returning my plate number. It has been one useless flimsy excuse to another. From “you will have to re-register your own new vehicle” to “we can’t find proof of ownership” to “you need to give us letter of transfer” to “it is hard to unscrew the plate number”.

I never met the people that bought the car. All discussions were between princeonlinebiz (morrisonautos) and I. I should have even known the guy was not trustworthy when he refused to allow the buyer make the transfer directly to me. First red flag! But, no be 100k I go dey drag with somebody!

I have been following up virtually everyday with him and most times, his response is usually “Ok”. Wtf I wan use “okay” do?! Bear in mind all these would have been avoided! He is the person I will drag cos he’s the one I sold my car through. He’s the one that made payment to me. He’s the one that pleaded that I let them use the plates to drive the car home!

I have now done change of ownership on my new car, using my original plate numbers. Yet these people have blatantly refused to return my plates.

I regret coming across someone as dubious and untrustworthy as you! And I will make sure I spread the word on every thread you create till my plates are returned to me.

The main reason I even made this post is when I started threatening to have this matter reported to the police, princeonlinebiz requested for my address so that the buyer would send the plates down. I sent it. Only for him to send a voice note saying the buyer was not forthcoming on sending a dispatch rider. Bear in mind I had reiterated that I will ONLY hand over the letter of transfer of ownership when I get my plate number. It has become very obvious these people are playing me for a fool, and I’ve had enough. I have been patient enough. Since September! But since these people want to be unreasonable, let’s now see who has more to lose. Certainly not me!

As far as I know, having owned, maintained and driven multiple vehicles, I know as a fact that mechanics have an agreement with part sellers that they will get an immediate refund for parts bought from the sellers that do not work..stuff like solenoids are immediately returnable to part seller and an immediate refund given...bigger parts like gearboxes and Engines are a different issue sha..

So I don't see why Mike will charge op for solenoids that as they didn't work, he should have simply returned them to the parts dealer and gotten a refund..

In any case, na una wey dey patronize online mechos I blame...for me, any tete-a tete- with online mecho ends of this forum...That's how the weyrey pipu badmouthed the VCM in a 2010 Accord v6, saying all sort of shit..When the VCM in my 2010 Accord V6 started acting up, an "uneducated" mechanic fixed it for less than 10k..and no he didn't bypass he VCM..almost 2 years on, that VCM hasn't even coughed.. I have since sold the vehicle in pristine state to my friend, and moved on to something else.

Long story short..that one has an expensive scanner, MacBook laptop, speaks good English, an office with AC, and bills like a kidnapper doesn't guarantee he isn't a shitty mech..Shine ya eye, make guymen no use packaging run you street...

There is a lot of automotive knowledge out there..and most of it isn't within the mental grasp of these online Mechos.

Sorry about the experience you had using my services, a lot of poor communication contributed largely to the eventful outcome. We are all not perfect, but we learn from our mistakes.

My approach to working on a modern day vehicle is a step by step analysis of the defective system, testing and re-testing, most times I have to buy parts without the owners knowledge while diagnosing a fault hoping that the initiative will go a long way in resolving the fault.

Once again sorry about the experience, we will do better.
