Eventually a nice doctor that did the anaesthetics n I went into another realm... Could hear what was going on n when my baby came out I felt it m heard his cry.... N they all started yabing me that my baby was huge.... 4.7kg. They said it's their biggest baby this year.... Showed him to me n went to clean him... Came back to ward much later n I had so much anger in me for allowing me go thru all that n still end up with cs when I could have just done it at 37 38 weeks then I'm the private hospital.... My mama no wan hear cs, now we didn't have a choice... Babys skin was wrinkled, they said cos he stayed too long in the womb... Ive learnt to forgive myself n love my big man... Chubby n sweet... Heard his skin will clear.... Feeding him dey turn my eyes sef but I'll adjust n find a way, will be going home today to have a good sleep bfr the vigil starts....
I'm glad it ended in praise.. Tnx to this forum for the support n answers to my weird questions...

No, God cannot give the devil power over you. I know this sounds so cliché and hard to accept most times, but ALL THINGS works together for those who love God. Only He can truly comfort you right now and even perform a miracle that you'd never imagined.
Talk to baba first. Rest. Seek a second and maybe third opinion.
Whatever happens, you need to find out why this keeps happening so it can be curbed.

What you're feeling isn't strange. Many women get depressed shortly after delivery. The 'experts' say it's as a result of the hommornes and fear of whether you'll be a good parent. Was it just today these feelings started, or they've been recurring?

Whatever the case may be, talk to someone close to you whom you love (God, your husband, mom). Just pour out how you're feeling to them. Cry if you may, you'll feel better.
Sing more praises to God for every single thing you can think of. Sing to the hearing of your baby. Force that mind of yours to only dwell on the beautiful things around you.

BA BA BA from a lurker! My God, you have done what only you can do and changed my name to mother. My baby girl was born Oct 28th via emergency c section, original due date was Nov 8. I thank God because i'm alive to write this. Baby, mother and father are doing well. BS coming soon.

Not safe to hold your urine. Being pregnant makes you prone to infections already. Holding it in makes it worse. You could get UTI. Sorry embrace your package and all it offers.

Good day mamas. Hope we are doing great. I was admitted yesterday and just discharged this morning. A lot of blood work was done and one amongst them was my hemoglobin level which came out normal (13g/dl). I was advised to go on complete bedrest till baby comes.

He came at about past 7 in d evening after induction n labour that refused epidural to emergency CS.
At 41 weeks dot.... With a whooping weight of,.....4.8kg

Good info but you might be talking from your own experience, maybe you are strong and dey kampe but Anaemia in pregnancy is some peoples reality and is life threatening. Regardless of multivitamins, doctors will prescribed 210mg iron twice daily to patients with anaemia in pregnancy and remeasure patient in three weeks to see if it peaks.

Thanks ma, that's why I asked if she felt better. But from her response, she really needs to see her doctor.

How are you now? Still feeling the same way or your better now? If you've been taking your prenatal supplements, then you don't need to worry about being anemic. You probably need more rest.

The goodnews I had just 4hours labour for ftm(everyone was surprised becos he's jevoah over do). Mummy, lo and daddy doing fine. Bs later in the day. I have been starving since last night cos I don't want this baby to be too big. My sister has already suggested I start taking lipton.

Hmm...Na wah o. And there I was thinking baby won't be big since I keep losing weight and adding not more than 3kg maximum.
Please, is there anyone here that was told that her baby weighed up to 3kg at 36 weeks and still went on to have 3.5kg baby? I don't want to exceed 3.5kg. What do I do please?

2. There's this tightening feeling I have that starts from my lower pelvic area either around the anal or vaginally area n moves up.. Like a painful cramp n it causes my breath to be short so I start panting, my head aching and heartbeat increases and my head becomes hot n sweat starts coming out.... It lasts a few seconds bfr it wears out... Ive talked to my doc, said it doesn't sound familiar... I want to know if anyone has experienced such before... It's become more frequent in the past few days....

Those are braxton Hicks contractions. It sounds similar to the way mine happens too. It doesn't feel the same way for every woman. Your body is preparing for the main thing. You may fall into labour before Tuesday sef.
