barthy09: Buhari May Lose Elections On Technical Rule, Radio Nigeria Says Jonathan Leading In 22 States The Presidential aspirations of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Muhammadu Buhari may be cut short as the unofficial figures coming in suggest that he has failed to garner 25% of the votes in the following states. 1. Imo 2. Abia 3. Anambra 4. Ebonyi 5. Rivers 6. Bayelsa 7. Delta 8. Benue 9. Enugu 10.Cross Rivers 11. Akwaibom 12. Benue 13. Edo.. If Buhari fails to make 25% in 1 more state, even if he secures the highest votes, he cannot win the election. According to law, the candidate with the most votes is declared the winner in the first round, as long as he gains at least 25% of the votes in two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states. The ruling PDP is leading in Plateau, Taraba, Lagos, Ekiti, and Ondo states, while the races in Oyo, Kwara and Kogi states are to close to call. Radio Nigeria, also reported that the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan is leading in 22 States. So, there are TWO BENUE states in Nigeria?? Evidence of a fake news!! OR FAKE WRITER |

hubreality: Sometimes you wonder if some people reason with their anus. INEC is the only legitimate body to announce and publish polls results, any other sources are illegal, fake and misleading. Only fools count their chicken before they're hatched. Reminder: It was like this during Osun and Ekiti gubernitorials, so, never doubt d results. Think about one thing? Why are the PDP people not posting their results?? #GodblessNigeria |

emusmith: The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections nationwide.
General Buhari said the hiccups experienced in few states over the card readers were not enough to cast aspersions on the election.
Fielding questions from journalists in his house in Daura, Katsina State, ChannelsTV reports that General Buhari said reports made available to him by his observers indicated that the election had been generally peaceful. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for extending the exercise in some polling units till tomorrow.
The APC Presidential candidate, however, appealed to all his supporters to remain calm no matter the outcome of the election.
