One thing we fail to understand is that kings rule over land not just a particular tribe. Anyone been it settler in the land is under the king that rule over the land. Usobo drift down to warri either to trade or were brought in as slaves then(this is one truth that modern urhobo youth don't want to hear) during the slave trade to work or farm for Itsekiri powerful merchants. The fact that today politicians creat small small kingdoms for usobo and ijaws in Warri doesn't make them owner because ijaws and Urhobos settlements in warri were all won by the Itsekiris when they think they have grown enough to take Itsekiris to court.

Even the law says that if any man live in your land for 100yrs, he is part of that land. This is why Urhobos and ijaws are now saying they are co- owners in Warri. Democracy says everyone have freedom of everything, so Urhobos are giving right and kingdom in Warri not as owner but because of the law and what democracy stand for.

UGBO-LOKPOSO in Uvwie was not given land by any usobo if usobo gave land to them how come they won 2/3 of the Uvwie LGA. The fact is that in those days Itsekiris had a mean of transport (canoes) which they can use to get to distant places and found new places unlike usobos who had no mean of transport but leg. This is the reason Itsekiri today found thier self in most places but not enough population to occupy most of thier land and because of this mean of transport, you will observe that thier lands are always connect to the river. Usobos who later came to tap palm wine or farming mostly came with much population to overshadowed Itsekiri but Itsekiri were wise early enough to document thier land and transaction with usobo. The three warri local council today bears warri local govt and today you have warri south warri north and warri southwest. Showing that all community in the three local govt is under warri and bears warri eg Ebrohimi in warri north local govt. Does it make sence to you that the name warri is corrupted from wari which means house in ijaw when the ijaw did not even have a single house in the metropolis until sometime after the warri crisis. Give us one not two of any European historians that alluded to you claim. The Itsekiris have over 20 foriegn historians refering to their king as olu of warri even in the sixteenth century. The problem you guys have is that you have not packed any of your king to acceptable level. Even the chiefs to the Olu are far ahead of any of your kings, hence this black lies. You guys will either go and hang or deal with the reality of the title of the Olu of warri

Ok. When I saw this, I thought. . . hmm, finally a honest post on nairaland. And was going to answer thus:

I think you should give the lady sometime and then if not in words, in action show her that you are still interested in her and that your offer is still open.
