Hi guys, Please can I opt for my interest to be paid at the end of the tbills tenor (so as to get the implied yield) in both primary and secondary market? Or is secondary market always debited at the discounted rate? |
richmond500:This won't solve anything, coz what people will do is simply transfer 150k to 10 different people (who have no money in their accounts to withdraw that day) and this 10 different pple will use their ATMS to withdraw 150k each.. Making it 1.5m and give to the owner of the money, he may settle them with 2k each and then gain maybe 10k from each 150k. Then the cycle continues.... Remember not everyone that has an ATM card has funds in his account. |
helinues:This is the best statement I've read from you |
Shalom428:Tnks a lot |
Shalom428:Pls does anyone have the rates for today's primary market auction? |
Hi guys, please can you bid in the primary market with an amount less than 50m and go with whatever rate the bank is bidding? Or your funds must be 50m+ B4 u can participate in primary market |
The question should be, why did you tolerate that from the dating/courting stage and most importantly, why did you marry a woman that isn't in love with you. No woman, I repeat, no woman who really loves you will watch you drained financially to the extent of borrowing and not assist you. Except of course, u ain't telling us the whole story or you do not manage ur finances well. |
MondayOmoAdugbo:The heat is everywhere na😅 |
amunkita:Wow, dts nice, I love the progress you r making |
immortalcrown:any amount of money between 100,000 and 999,999 is regarded as 6 figures.. So to answer your question, it's 100k. |
So as the topic says, kindly tell us how much was your first salary, how much you earn now and how you were able to advance your career or secure a better job/salary, this will serve as a motivation for some people and give them much needed knowledge to do better in their careers. Let me start with mine... I worked in a primary school in year 2013 and I was paid between 4,500 to 6,500 monthly, I was still in school then, so it was more like a holiday job. Presently, I am into investments and earn six figures or more.... |
Welcum:Thanks, I have shared mine... Waiting for others to do same |
So as the topic says, how did you make your first million, please enlighten us, this could serve as an eye opener for others, especially with the current economic challenges a lot of people are facing in Nigeria, a lot can be learnt from different experiences shared and these can give people the much needed inspiration to make money or re-assess their decisions. So please tell us.. 1. How you made your first million 2. What year you made your first million and how old you were then (if you feel like sharing your age) 3. If you are still a millionaire and what happened to the money if you ain't still one. So I will start with myself.... 1. I saved money from my salary for over a year until it got to a million, I just wanted to get my first million and I remembered how happy I was calling myself a yung millionaire 😅😅😅 2. This was in year 2019 3. Yes. So over to you guys, let's hear your own experience. |
Freetech:Are u not ASHAMED TO SAY THIS? How can u be confident enough to continue accusing vandals of being behind NATIONAL GRID COLLAPSE FOR THE UMPTEEN TIME.. and yet as a nation, we can't caught nor prosecute any vandal yet? Doesn't that tell u our security architecture is moribund? Keep shifting blames... Ur mind og soon touch ground. |

Hope this will not lead to a further hike in the price of PMS? |

So does it mean Ex President Buhari didn't see the 'supposed new naira notes' before it went public? How can Emefiele have produced something different from what was presented and the President allowed it to be printed and go into circulation? |
Them no go see young hustling man support now. If someone comes online to tell some sob stories, pple will be donating millions upandan. Not that I'm against that, but I think OP shld be among those that people shld come to their aid..at least even if it's giving him a GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT or money to SET UP A BIZ. |
Neduzoma123456:Are you really serious with this your submission? So the school will make an average of 900k every 3 mnts.. Meaning the owner of the school will go home with 300k monthly? Is this even feasible? Let me put forward some questions to you to answer... 1. Have you considered that apart from teachers salary, there are other expenses the school incurs monthly, like cost of maintenance of school properties, some levies the school pay to authorities, other staff that are working in the school in non teaching positions (principal, secretaries, school nurse, cleaners, printing of exam papers, documents, adverts, telephone cost and other office expenses or running cost etc). How much do you think these persons will be paid monthly from the 300k that will remain after the school pays the teachers. Note that this is not even an exhaustive lost of their monthly expenditures and I didn't add miscellaneous activities like school bus (if they have one) etc to it 2. Say the owner of the school even gets 300k monthly... Be sincere with yourself, how much is 300k If you were the owner of the school, will you really take 300k monthly as your take home salary, after using your strength, ability and brain to run your school business for 30 days? Even those who work for others in the corporate world earn better than 300k, yet you expect an entrepreneur with a capital intensive business like running a school to take 300k home... X'mon. 3. Do you know how much it cost to build or set up a school... At least a school that's standard enough for parents to be willing to pay 200k+ termly? Do you? So after investing several millions to set up the school, you really expect the ROI to be 300k monthly? Do you even know the managerial skills that needs to be employed in running a school to make the school profitable especially in this present economy? Yet 300k is good enough for the owner to take home? 4. Have you considered that the millions of naira used to build or set up the school might be a loan that needs to be repaid? And u think 300k monthly that's not enough for the school owner to even enjoy (based on his status and ability) will be enough to service loans and all? Do you want a school owner to be trekking to school because he or she can't afford basic luxury or some benefits that's supposed to be enjoyed? 5. Do you know at the rate above, it will take probably 10yrs+ to break even? I'm not even talking about making profit o, just breaking even. In as much as most employers UNDERPAY their employees in Nigeria... Also consider the fact that business owners are in the business to make and maximise profit. So no one will pay you salaries that'll be detrimental to their own welfare or that of the business. EVEN 500k salary is not feasible for a school owner that invested millions of naira. Should the school do better in terms of payment ... YES OF COURSE Should the school owner take 300k or less home monthly... NOT AT ALL. |
Magicalsineros:She was trying to help her family and not HELP ONLY HER HUSBAND. She is an adult and also have financial responsibilities to her children just like the man. Except of course she is just a liability of a wife. |
Magicalsineros:Common, you say? I totally disagree with you. How many men even run to women to 'ASK THEM FOR A FAVOR' let women do every other minute of the day |
Magicalsineros:Let me ask you too some questions... 1. How many men have you seen asking women for help and they actually got that help especially financial help (with or without strings attached)? 2. Why do women not seek help from their fellow women when in need but are SO QUICK to run to a man or another man to seek for help whenever they have financial needs (so much for women supporting women)? 3. Why do you think it is the duty of ONLY man to help a either a MAN OR WOMAN in need and not the duty of a woman (so much for gender equality)? |
Nonny95:Lol... This government no go keepers on with laff. The Don kuku give una rice make una plant am inside the flood, since rice thrives well in plentiful supply of water. #AudioRicePalliativeGovernment |
