Saying De Lima is/was overrated is absolute nonsense. If you did see him play. He could create something out of nothing. His pace, dribbling and finishing is tip-top.

In general, Cristiano has had a better career.

That been said, I'd say De Lima stopped fighting. During those series of injuries, he got complacent, got fat which made his fitness woes even worse. There's a certain stereotype about Brazilian fballers being "lazy" at a point in their career.

This is also the case of Agents ruining football. If he'd stayed at Barca, he'd have achieved more. He's one of the greatest CF I've watched play. He keeps you on the edge because you never knows what he's up to.
