Nollywood actress, Judith Audu, posted this photo on her Instagram page. She got injured while shooting a scene in a movie set.

These actors risk their lives everyday just to keep us entertained. The least we could do is applaud and appreciate them and not talk them down....it could be heart breaking if we do that.

Below is how she captioned the photo:

Someone was reporting here yesterday that the NYSC website may have been hacked. It seems the suspicion was right. Well, thanx for info.

I don't think it was hacked. We just got unauthorized access. We weren't supposed to have access to that page.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have come out to address the issue of the call up letters that prospective corps members have been printing.

To the surprise of all, prospective 2016 NYSC Batch A were able to check and print their call up letters the same day they registered and paid online. They were able to view their state of deployment and some have even started rejoicing for getting their desired state of deployment.

NYSC have sent official text messages to the 2016 Batch A prospective corps members to disregard that letter and that they will be informed at the right time when their posting is ready for printing.

One of the surest means of breaking a relationship is by keeping close contact with an ex-lover/partner. This is so common among so many people. You make your ex your “best friend” and want your lover/partner to be cool with it. That is a hundred percent not possible. If you wanted to remain close friends with the person then why did you break up in the first place?

Let us be truthful to ourselves here, one of the reasons why we resume communication with our ex is to find out what went wrong and how it can be amended. This does not necessarily have to be the intention of both parties but when one party has that in mind then anything can happen because before the flames of “friendship” start burning again, there must be forgiveness first. And once forgiveness sets in, you can fall in love with the person all over again if you spend so much time together. Because this so called ex now knows where they went wrong initially and how to set it right. And if they are determined, they will have you back in their bed before you know what’s happening.

We are so used to giving the excuse of not intentionally doing what we did. The question here is “what was not intentional? Is it that we unintentionally accepted our ex back into our lives? Or we unintentionally made them our “best friend”? Or we unintentionally met with them in a private place and also unintentionally jumped into their beds? C’mon, let’s face it. Nothing was unintentional. We saw the outcome even before we ventured into it.

Now, if eventually after sleeping with the “ex”, you realize it wasn’t supposed to happen and still want to stick to your partner, you still make the mistake of trying to play smart about it and hide it from them. You might succeed for a while or even forever. But what if he/she eventually gets a wind of it, what happens then? Where will that place our relationship? Even if it doesn’t destroy it, it’ll kill the trust that you once shared so it’s a Lose-Lose situation.

So let us be careful about these things. Of course you can resume communication with an ex but don’t make the mistake of allowing the hand shake extend to the elbow.

According to MyZimbabwe, a 19 year old housemaid, Lindiwe Kahila is held in police custody for raping and defiling her employer's 14 year old son in Zimbabwe.

She was caught in the process by the boy's elder sister who heard sounds coming from their parents bedroom and the boy opened up and told her that he was forced by the maid.

According to the prosecutor, Takunda Ndovorwi,

“The accused invited the 14-year-old boy to sleep on the same blankets with her and covered him with a blanket.
Kahila removed her clothes and became completely naked before she went on to unzip the complainant’s trousers.
Kahila ordered the Form One boy to lie on top of her and then had sex with him. She grabbed the complainant’s privates and inserted his manhood into her privates.
She ordered the boy to make some movements while on top of her and as a result, she had sexual intercourse with the minor without his consent.

The two were busted by the boy’s sister who responded to sounds emanating from the bedroom and found the two having sexual intercourse. Upon questioning, the juvenile told his sister that Kahila forced herself on him, leading to her arrest,"
Kahila is still in custody till February 15, when her case is set to be transferred to Hwange Regional Court.

Scientists have revealed that the darkened spots found in very ripe bananas may help to easily and quickly detect skin cancer.

According to Pulse Nigeria:

Bananas, upon ripening, become covered in certain black round spots which are caused by an enzyme called tyrosinase. The same tyrosinase can be found in human skin, a larger quantity in persons suffering from melonama, a potentially deadly form of skin cancer.

The enzyme is not very obvious in the earliest stage 1 of cancer, but becomes widespread and evenly distributed in stage 2, and unevenly distributed in stage 3 — by which time the cancer would have begun spreading to other parts of the body. The researchers concluded that the enzyme is a reliable marker of melanoma growth.

Team leader Hubert Girault in a statement said, “By working with fruit, we were able to develop and test a diagnostic method before trying it on human biopsies.”

“This system could obviate the need for invasive tests like biopsies,” he further said.
Cancer is one of the most feared and common diseases in the world, with deaths resulting from the disease standing at 8.2million as at 2012.

The research was published in the German science journal Angewandte Chemie.

Noela Rukundo recounts to BBC in an interview how she turned up for her own funeral and gave her husband, Balenga Kalala, the shock of his life. She narrated how she sat in her car and watched from a distance how she was being buried. She waited for the guests to leave before coming out of her hiding place and confronted her husband.

Her husband, Balenga Kalala, paid hit men £3,500 to kill his wife because he thought she was unfaithful to him. Unknown to him, the hit men knew her brother and decided not to carry out the job so they told her of her husband's plan and went back to tell him that the deed had been done. They even collected some extra money for a 'job well done'. He went ahead to inform the family that his wife was died in an accident in Africa.

“Is it my eyes?” she recalled him saying in an interview with the Washington Post .
“Is it a ghost?”
“Surprise! I’m still alive!” she replied.
Kalala touched her shoulder and then began screaming.
He initially denied his crime, but Rukundo got him to confess during a phone conversation that was secretly recorded by cops.

“I felt like somebody who had risen again,” she told the BBC .
“My situation, my past life? That is gone. I’m starting a new life now. I will stand up like a strong woman.”
Kalala was sentenced to nine years in prison.

"She works for us, she feeds us, she clothed us and she was doing the same thing for [Kalala].
"I looked at him (in court) but I couldn't see a man. Because I believe a man would not do something like that."

The husband apologized but it was already too late. She called in the police and he was arrested. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 9 years in prison for incitement to murder.

The couple live in Melbourne, Australia and they've been married for 10 years with three children.

Maurice died in his sleep at his home in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Before his death, he was suffering from Parkinson's disease. He was aged 74.
