According to a Facebook user that goes by the name Stanley Chukwunonso Fisher, the man pictured above known only as Tochukwu, was shot dead by a police officer (SARS) in Kano yesterday. Thereby leaving his two daughters fatherless and his wife widowed.

I wonder what this nation has turned into when those who are supposed to protect us are the ones killing us.

Parents have to be extra careful in raising their kids these days as there are so many mentally unbalanced rapists now roaming the streets. The man pictured above was arrested for kidnapping a 7 year old girl, raping her and keeping her all through the night. Below is how it was reported by PUNCH NG:

Ikechukwu Alu, a trader at a market on 23 Road, FESTAC Town, Lagos, has been arrested for the alleged abduction and rape of a seven-year-old girl, Victoria, Punchng reports.

It was learnt that Victoria had been sent on an errand to buy a recharge card, but she misplaced it while returning home. On getting home, she was reportedly chased out to look for it.

It was while she was searching for the card that Alu abducted her on Adeola Street in Amuwo Odofin, where she lives, and took her to a shop in a nearby market. Alu reportedly made her pass the night in the shop and allegedly raped her.

As he left the shop around 5am the following day, some residents around the area saw him, with Victoria strapped to his back. The residents, who are aware that he does not have a child, reportedly queried him on how he came about the girl.

When he could not give a genuine explanation, they were said to have poured ashes on him and alerted the police at the FESTAC division, who picked him up. Victoria told the police that Alu “put his thing (manhood) in my bum-bum”

She was subsequently taken to the Mirabel Centre at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja. A test carried out on her reportedly confirmed that she was raped.

Alu has been arraigned before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on one count of rape. He however pleaded not guilty and was admitted to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Popular Nigerian artist, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has unveiled his plan to commence a yearly scholarship program aimed at giving more people the opportunity of being educated.

He named the program after his mother, Veronica Adeleke Education Scholarship program. He also revealed that he'll be starting with four students this year. Details on how to apply will be provided in due course.

Nigerian Actor David Nnaji Generally Known as Ifeanyi in the popular Nigerian series ‘Dear Mama’ has , denied reports that he and his wife and popular singer, Jodie are no longer together. It was allegedly reported that Jodie Nnaji, has allegedly separated from her actor husband, David, barely a year after getting married.
