In Nigeria, Crime really does pay ![]() |
@Agitator, I feel your agitation. I think Tsav was right that a large percentage of Nigerian police are nothing but Mercenaries. To serve and Protect is a term for decoration. |
If the custom's officer and his cohorts don't get fired and made to pay for the damage they caused to this teacher, then the Oyo State House of Assembly is a joke. The so-called spoilt custom officer's son should be expelled with immediate effect. |
Is N33.9 million the monthly or yearly salary? |
It's really horryfying on why these devils wasted a MOPOL's life just because of money. Couldn't they just pull the whole hostage stunt without blood? These Warri guys are really daring |
lagerwhenindoubt:It's really a pitiable situation, when the police which should be a friend abuse authority and uniform to indulge in demeaning crimes like armed robbery. Nigeria is getting rotten by the day. God help us all. |
agitator:Can't we be supportive for once to solve situations rathr than criticise every good effort we see? Your pessimism isn't needed right now |
Guys come to think of it. Our democratic regime has had more political murders than Abacha's military regime. |
It is the Nigerians in Ghana that put Ghana on top of the list not Ghanians. Most of my Yahoo boy friends are now fully based in Ghana. |
Isn't there a top police officer or top government official on this forum that can take this case up to make a change in this country? Someone please do something. |
Fani-Kayode is right. Untill there is satisfactory proof to prove Al-mustapha's guilt, he remains innocent. Condemning him to death with little proof sounds more like seeking vengeance or witch-hunting. |
Did someone just say that there is "Justice in Nigeria"? |
still seeking |
Africe, we too like "Awoof", but we forget that there's a bigger price to pay for accepting something"free-of-charge" |
I thought Muammar was the bad guy |
Living in fear. May God protect those Christians out there, who still go to church in a time of insecurity |
igbo2011:Most likely overthrown, I doubt if he'll be assasinated. Thabo Mbeki was never assasinated |
maclatunji:Haha, I guess it's people like you who buy every shyt you hear on the foreign media and fail to seek the truth on your own. Even if the foreign media tells you an alien flying saucer landed in Nigeria at 3am in the monring and left 30mins later, you'd believe it. Well most people are getting tired of being deceived and labelling people bad guys just to fight wars that kill innocent people like you and me. Beaf:Why does this rude guy keep ranting and insulting people here? CAP28 doesn't have to believe things in a prejudiced manner like you. Gaddafi's dead, yeah but the people who value him choose to remember his great legacy that you might never smell. |
Guys, I'm a freelancer too. A company I contract for just needs an in-house person, that's what Im sourcing for here. |
Cap28, my anti-imperialist brother. I've been waiting for you on this thread. ![]() |
Most insulted MOG on Niaraland 1. Dr. David Oyedepo 2. Prophet T B Joshua 3. Dr Sign Fireman 4. Rev. Chris Oyakhilome 5. Pastor Paul Adefarasin 6. Pastor Adeboye (surprised) 7. Pastor Tunde Bakare 8. Rev. King (awaiting sentence) 9. Rev. Chris Okotie I think they are insulted most because of their popularity and controversial status. Pastor Adeboye became very controversial after praying for GEJ. Pastor Bakare, has been like that long time ago. Wondering why Pastors like Sam Amaga, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Cardinal Okogie and most others don't get insulted like the above-stated. Even though most of them are frauds, please lets not forget, that they are preaching Jesus. Which many of us Christians fail to do as a duty. However, I agree with Frosbel. Lets expose, not insult. Like Christ says "by their fruits, ye shall know them". Lets expose the bad fruits using the word of God as a guide. |

Wow. 33 support military rule against 30 supporting civilian rule. |
goldfx2:Yeah you're right. The voice of the people should dictate a nation not the voice of a person or his family. However, in Libya's scenario the situation was different. 1. The people who you saw on the streets were those who weren't from his tribe and from the East with many histories of rebellion against Gaddafi. Those were the people from Benghazi, Misrata and some parts of Tripoli. Else from these cities, the rest were forcefully coaxed into refusing to support Gaddafi especially with the onset of the NATO bombings. Sirte (Gaddafi's hometown) and Bani walid, which stood with the Gaddafi government to the end were seriously pounded with NATO bombs and NTC artillery as a punishment. So you're right about it being the people, but it wasn't the voice of majority of the people. Please search youtube and input "rally for gaddafi" and you'll be amazed with the support he had. 2. Gaddafi was stubborn yes, but he knew it was a foreign conspiracy. Quitting power then would cause a lot of unrest like it has already done and sell Libyan oil cheap to the West. Libya would no longer be controlled by Libyans but by western powers who come with the facade of "giving them freedom" |
@Voltron, thanks for clarifying. I wonder if some people really know Nigeria. |
I heard of a story of the military going to homes in Kano and killing innocent men, breadwinners of their family simply because they have a muslim beard and they look like Boko Haram. Untill the NigerianL aw Enforcement start having a sense of justice and direction, I think this Boko Haram issue is a thing for them to live with for awhile. You don't just arrest anybody you see on the streets and put crimes on them in the name of fighting crime |
Danka7777:Thanks for the props. Gaddafi remains a true hero in the hearts of many Libyans. He had the opportunity to run but he refused to. Ever wondered why countries with so-called rogue leaders live in peace untill they are destabilised by the West? Even though many of these rogue leaders are cruel like Saddam or the Taliban, that's just a question I think people should ponder on. |
I am planning to enroll under the Google adsense program on my upcoming e-book website. I will like the webmasters in the house to kindly state how much google pays you monthly for advertising on your website. You do not necessary have to state your website or the exact figures. A price range would do best. I just want to have an idea of what one can expect under Goolge adsense and also the best methods of advertising to draw traffic. Thanks |
kizito96:Gaddafi is dead and gone. But when seeing one's dear leader being abused, beaten and sodomized, its enough to make some people go renegade. Many western leaders have committed heinous crimes worse than Gaddafi but have you ever seen the leaders being left to their enemies to be dehumanised in such a dastard way? Gaddafi was loved by many people and those loyalists are the one's holding up the Green resistance still fighting for his cause against imperialism and control of Libyan resources. |
