missylizzy: Hello everyone
How do I change my dialer on Redmi Note 8 Pro, it's a Google dialer not MI dialer and it doesn't have an option to record calls. I think you can download the APK. I think as a result of GDPR all Xiaomi phones outside China come with Google dialer. Though there is an update supposed to come with the option in the not too distant future. Just sit tight |

KngGezy: So you have acknowledged that there was a complaint? So I'm not making up fictitious stories? Neither am I a joker who purposefully comes to create entertainment
Mind you not just a person but more than 2 complaints on that day. You keep hitting new lows every damn time and I'm beginning to think there is no need further engaging you. So In your own delusional world, two complaint means the phone is bad. If we check GSMarena, I'm sure we'd find more than two people with bad things to say about Samsung. |

KngGezy: Okay enjoy your phone bro
I am upgrading it to something else next week by Gods Grace.
I have studied a few of their devices. And apart from the classics ,I'm still looking for a device that will last over a year. And a device with a high resale value. Initially the MI9T was my focus. But someone complained about the battery decline and some other software issues and I was put off. I will quote the posts if you want me to. But apart from that the build quality is 10/10. And I absolutely love the picture quality. If I call you a mindless troll now you'd feel offended and start behaving like a cry baby. so one person complains of battery drain and all of a sudden all Mi 9T's have issues. You just don't have sense sha |

KngGezy: Oh I get the problem with most of my posts. And why peepz fail to understand me on time. My English is most of the time not understood. If not I wonder who will see being called a trouble shooter an insult ?And alot of other peepz have liked the same comment Right now this revelation is astounding. Should I be making comments in pidgin? Don't kid yourself, the problem is you and be all condescending you want I really don't care. I just am fed up of your SJW tendency. When you want to be reasonable then we can have a conversation |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by veramani31: 11:07am On Jan 11, 2020 |
KngGezy: If only you can drop the insults and be more polite. You actually are a trouble shooter. It is essential that were you dont know each other. That you respect each other. Some monikers think its pretense. But even on other sections I will never engage in insulting anyone. I believe no one should be bashed for their views. If I'm a trouble shooter I wonder what that makes you. I agree no one should be bashed for their views but you re ultimately responsible for such views and when your views are constantly skewed in a particular direction then I really have to question your mental health. That been said, re you ok? Is everything alright at home? Is there something you lack that you think you'd find here? Please educate yourself and try as much as possible to be objective alright and oh hope you know the Samsung A51 and A71 was just released, maybe you should try getting one of them instead of an A10 for the third time running. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by veramani31: 7:35am On Jan 11, 2020 |
KngGezy: Okay another insult, why not use the more common word. Why try to reduce the heaviness of the more explicit words. If I were to be like some other monikers. I could have had you banned for some months for this unwarranted cursing. But I respect you and your view ,which by the way is a normal response to the truth. As someone known for speaking the truth. God bless us all bro Oh look at me I'm been persecuted for speaking my truth, typical SJW behaviour. Oh, like I'm so scared of been banned because I don't have a life. You still don't get it do you? Lemme try to help you. Nobody says Xiaomi is perfect infact no brand for that matter is but when you consistently nitpick only the issues and in the guise of offering solutions keep running them down then you become a mindless troll. I have actually tried to ignore you but it seems that that actually emboldens you. |

KngGezy: In an argument you win some you lose some and others you leave without an answer. I have won most of the arguments on this thread. And that SOT usage argument falls under the argument that you leave without an answer. But unequivocally today I say that I lost that argument. I say this so as to put that issue to rest. I put it to you that you are deranged and you have nobody to tell you. You just keep looking for issues when there re none. Find something else to keep you entertained and occupied as your antics re just becoming irritating. |

For those who dunno Sendo was like the Xiaomi of the Symbian era before they were absorbed by Motorola. Ahhhh I remember this phone very well. Got really hot until you disconnected the infrared sensor from the board. Nice phone with one fun cooking game like that. Could take 5 to 10 songs back then I think and had memory card slot. Gptech: MIUI like ram, plus the last device I know of that multitasks perfectly with 3 gig ram is the Redmi note 5a prime. If money is not an issue we recommend buying devices with 4gig ram upwards. For those using 3 gig ram phones, always clear background apps and use your security app regularly, don't fill up your internal memory at least 1gig should always be available. Also don't forget to turn off miui battery saver on apps you love to keep in the background. Could also be the memory card especially when it's not of good quality |

I Downloaded themes, the status bar icons and notifications drawer ain't changing.
And there's no option to select status and notifications drawer of another theme on another theme in customize options.
Anyone facing same issue?...
It's not even changing at all Calm down, it's normal as most themes are not yet compactible with MIUI 11. Give it a few weeks and you'd have a selection headache |

Baroba: Same here, just switched to the Mi band 4....the only difference is the band 5 now comes with Oxygen saturation monitoring, I wonder how many people care about that or even know what it means..Maybe people with respiratory problems such as Common Obstructive pulmonary Disorder ( stop smoking folks) might benefit having it.. I'm particularly interested in the sleep cycle monitoring which the mi band 4 seems to be lacking. I'm switching from Mi band 3 to honour band 5 |

ErnyyBobo: Up to to 2months I made an order on AliExpress... The tracking number says still in China. The seller says it's going through customs check. Buyer protection was extended and yet no more update on the package... Filed a dispute.. Turns out in my own favour..
So I wanna ask those with experience here. How long does it take to get a refund? 5 to 10 working days |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by veramani31: 5:50pm On Sep 28, 2019 |
Baroba: Am glad someone brought this up, I just switched from honor band 4 to a Xiaomi mi band 4.The honor band 4 has a better sleep tracking in terms of functionality.it tracks naps and longer sleep cycles all day long, the Mi band records only one sleep cycle in 24 hours. So if you work nights and sleep during break that's all it will record..
If you need something that does more, go for the honor band 5, they have even added SPO2 ( blood oxygen monitoring) and it has a bigger screen and better screen display the the mi band 4.. Both bands are excellent depending on what you need, the only advantage Mi band 4 has, is the ridiculously superior battery life, with the honor you get about 5 - 7 days with constant notifications Thank you so much for this detailed review. Had the mi band 3 and when I work nights it doesn't track my sleep during the day. Would definitely get the honour band 5. Once again thank you |
