I tried leaving it plugged in overnight but it still hasn't come up. It doesn't seem to be a firmware problem either.

I searched google/YouTube and the suggestion I'm seeing is that it could be a power management IC issue. Changing it seems to fix similar issues.

The device is the US variant, so the Samsung service centre I took it to didn't accept it.

it's completely discharged...won't come on at all now.

I need help with my S8+ which has suddenly stopped charging.
It doesn't charge with either cable or wireless so it's not the charging port.
It shows "charging" when plugged in but the battery depletes rather than going up.

It works exactly as advertised. I installed a new ROM than the one it came with for even better performance.
It works perfectly as a media center and performs seamlessly while streaming content.

You need averagely good internet service to really enjoy it, preferably, an unlimited plan if you watch a lot of TV.

I packed it up and I intend to sell because I got a new with inbuilt Android TV which does everything I need from a TV box from the TV itself.
