Again, tell me an instance in which this happened. You can't say with-holding truth as much as only asserting relevant information. Also, exaggeration is a form of lying.

I'm glad you all liked the information but it's not mine oo. I read it in a marriage counseling book before getting married.

I can say that it's truly been helpful in our marriage. We've come to find out That I'm a Words of Affirmation and Quality Time girl while he is a Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch man. cheesy

Family / Re: Would You Buy a House With Your Fiance as Co-owner? by vexxy(f): 2:43pm On Nov 21, 2005
I don't see the problem. If they don't stick together they can always sell the house. If they're going to be married, they're going to be co-owners of everything anyway.

Oh, I wasn't aware that she had more than one album. Kudos to her!

And yes, she was a former Miss America but had to surrender the title due to some racy photo's taken of her previously.

Romance / Re: If your Boyfriend/Girlfriend Wrongfully Accuses You of Something? by vexxy(f): 9:02pm On Nov 18, 2005
Yes, I have been accused of many things when it comes to boyfriends. But I fight it tooth and nail. They must produce evidence to this so called allegation because sometimes it can stem from a simple misunderstanding.

He is probably apologizing because he know's it was wrong to accuse you of something you didn't do. Accept his apology, we all make mistakes from time to time. Just talk it out with him and ask him to, if he feels you've wronged him, bring it up that very instant to get it sorted out. Don't hold onto it.

It really truly bothers me when someone says, "African American's are this or that" when really you can't speak that way toward any one group. There are exceptions to all of these biased judgements we put on others. It really needs to stop.

Treat everyone as an individual and not apart of "those people" or "that group" and you're sure to find some wonderful people who deserve more than what I've seen people say on here.

Besides, you are only limiting yourself when you shun a group. Last I checked, no one was better than the other be you Nigerian, American, European, Austrailian, rich, poor, girl, boy, married, or single.
Family / Re: Tell Us About Your Marriage by vexxy(f): 8:15pm On Nov 18, 2005
Well, there are 5 love languages that you must look into.  We all we speak different love languages.  They are as follows:

Words of Affirmation:  Some women need to hear you say that you love them, they like little notes expressing your feeling for them.  They need reassurance from you.  "I love you." "You are wonderful." "You are beautiful." Those are just to name a few.

Quality Time:  And when I say quality time, I'm not meaning you both are existing in the same house or car, but you're actually paying attention to her.  Giving her undivided attention.  No tv, no books, no distractions, just you and her having a conversation, or going out on a date, going for walks or sharing a candle light dinner together.

Receiving Gifts:  Just as Seun mentiond, some like gifts.  They don't need to be extravagent gifts but sometimes a boquet of flowers and a card.  Just a little thing that is thoughtful.  Something you know she'll enjoy.

Acts of Service:  Helping her do things, wash dishes for her or cook her a meal and serve her.

Physical Touch:  This could mean anything from holding hands, to a massage or being intimate.

Everyone has a different way in which they understand your feelings toward them.  Try and listen to her and see what she responds to most. Be it praise, gifts, service, quality time, or physical.

Also, I'm not saying this should be a one way thing, she should do the same for you but marriage is about giving.   cheesy

Family / Re: My Cousin's Story About Her Pregnancy by vexxy(f): 7:31pm On Nov 18, 2005
Yes, strange things do happen! I heard last year around this time of a woman giving birth to twins under the same condition.

She was extremely overweight as it is and had always had stomach problems. It was during her Thanksgiving meal when she started to feel pain.

She thought it was because she ate too much. When she went to the bathroom, out came baby #1. The paramedics were called who helped deliver baby #2!

@Seun: Yes, shock indeed! Both of us would be in the hospital. Her for delivering a baby and me for fainting!

Explain.  Name instances, was it directly with you or something you've heard?  Where are you located?  What kind of attorney's are you talking about as in, what area of law?

Please provide me with an example in which you knew a lawyer was lying and under what circumstances. Also, how was it that you knew this and did not report it to his/her supervisor to have his license to practice yanked.
Career / Re: Can Lawyers Practice Without Lying? by vexxy(f): 5:21pm On Nov 18, 2005
In dealing with these attorneys I have faith that an attorney can practice law without lying. They do it all day. In my dealings with the prosecution, privacy, freedom of information, contracts and acquisitions, labor/employment, and construction lawyers that make up my office, I can fully and boldly state that that these fine men and women practice law with the utmost integrity. I only wish you knew them. Undecided

I have, however, seen a lot of criminal justice attorney's stretch the truth. See, also I think it's because whether these guys win or lose they still get paid the same amount. Other attorney's who only make money if the client wins are more prone to look for loop holes in the law. That's still not considered lying but they look for the easy way out.

Yes, I don't see a problem with it. If they do not end up getting married they can always sell the house.

Yes, It's possible!

A Norfolk teenager who had been puzzled at her sudden weight gain has given birth to a baby girl.

Charlotte Starling, 16, had no idea she was pregnant until she went to the toilet one night - and found herself delivering a 7lb 10oz baby.

Despite a breach birth, Louise was born healthy on 15 October at the house in Bowthorpe, Norfolk, where Charlotte lives with her parents.

Charlotte said: "I just couldn't believe it - I just ran and got my mum and she just screamed and woke everyone up."
