BushidoBlue: What an eye opener, to cultural differences. And attitudes. It would seem, from your statement, that misdirecting someone is payback for not being polite or greeting the elderly. There was a similar situation I witnessed.
It occurred between a Yoruba elderly lady and a young lady that is non yoruba. Instead of misdirecting the person in question, because there was no "respect" as you put it, the girl came to the oady's shop and said I'm looking for "XXXX" street without greeting, the elderly lady greeted the young person, "Good afternoon ma, how can I help you?" The young lady realised her mistake and greeted the elderly lady back. Respect is earned and it not to be used as a weapon. Different stroke for different folks. How we respond to anger or agitation is an individual thing, not tribal. |

Yorubas think of this your culture So its your culture to dress as women No wonder the women themselves grow beards and have masculine features. Igbos think well about this your culture. Its too shameful. A whole tribe of transexuals That's what I see |

WombRaiders: Looking back at some of my post I feel I went too hard given that most of you remain in permanent awe on how to reply me.
Sometimes I visualize all those gbegiri mouths hanging in silent awe and exclamation as I troll the sh1t out of you guys.
So today I have decided to offer a truce to my Yoruba Muslim APC posters... On the following conditions only;
1. That you cease and refrain from mentioning Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as the source of all your woes in your pathetic existence
2. That you refrain from insulting Fayose and Ekiti people.
3. that you henceforth begin to like and accept the fact that Wike is governor of Rivers State. 4. That you henceforth cease your jealousy on any developmental strides in the Niger Delta. The outright and open jealousy in the Akwa Ibom Thread was and is appalling to say the least.
5. That you do not take panadol for Biafra anymore.
6. That you desist from claiming citizenship of any state in the better south (SS and SE) in your lame anti Biafra and pro APC maneuvers in that region.
7. That you begin to post threads promoting coca farming both here and in the Business and Agric sections.
8. That you start believing that Niger Delta and Biafra republic is a reality. This is non negotiable.
9. That you will like this post as a sign of you agreeing to the terms laid down for there to be peace.
Cheers The "change" starts with you troll |

Peachess: Teach him sense? Can't she just ignore him instead of giving him the wrong direction. You guys take greetings too seriously as if it'll add a penny to your account. A friendly hello or good morning is enough and you don't even have to bend when greeting You need to accustom yourself with the culture of your host else you suffer. Its a universal rule hence the popular saying, "when you're in germany, behave like germans." |

Peachess: This one thing I don't like, there are sometimes you don't feel like greeting someone but you'll take it as an offense...well, it's your culture. I'm not an hater You don't feel like greeting...and you need favour? Even before you fuckkk you toast...else its rape. If you wan go collect school fees from your papa, will you just go ahead and bark at him for it or you present your case to him in a humble and respectful manner? Igbo people lack manners and human relation skills...that's why they usually complain of being hated anywhere they are found worldwide. |

Balkan: Please would like know why Yorubas derive pleasure in misdirecting strangers? A friend of my was coming to my house on Sunday and was very close to my street, he now asked one Yoruba elderly woman for direction only for the woman to send him miles back that he has long passed the street. Meanwhile the guy was almost on ther street, which the old woman knows.
Are there no honest Yoruba people again? This is bad before God and man. I had once been a victim. I don't know who to trust.
Is there any reason for this kind of character? Am sure your frend is Igbo...right? Yoruba people are very much particular about respect and greetings...things Igbo people don't value. It is ingrained in our culture and a typical Yoruba person especially if not learned takes an offense if proper greeting is not observed. Your friend most probably inquired rudely from the old woman and she decided to teach him sense |

Why Is The Alaba Fight News Only On Nairaland? I have searched twitter, tried google, linda ikeji, sahara reporters all to avail. It seems the only source of the unconfirmed news about Agberos fighting the Igbos in Alaba market is from Nairaland. MrkenOkonkwo: Answer: because my igboe people are panicking. they are afraid that they Will be deported back to upper iweka overhead bridge. bus as for me and my friend chidi. we rather commit suicide than be deported back to our. village. And hopefully they won't blame Awolowo once more about their lack of food supply. I have always wondered how Igbos were expected to be dashed food when they wanted to kill their benefactors Biafrans must be the dumbest lots we have military-wise world over...their generals are the dumbest. Empty chest beaters leading a war campaign miles away from war front. Coward Ojuwku even had to send a Yoruba, Victor banjo to do his dirty work of leading the war-front to capture Lagos...a yorubaland. Yet those bastards who couldn't step out of their enclaves into the southwest during the war called yoruba cowards out of painment ...yeah a coward who ended the civil war with nothing more than about a hundred men. I think their constant exodus in millions into Lagos presently is to make up for lost time during the civil war when they couldn't even smell berger talk-less of going past Ore Igbos need to read history very well without BIAS so that they won't make the mistake of repeating it. The Yorubas are like russians...we don't interfere in all your Bleep-fest, but when you attempt to cross your line, our bite is always lethal...a bite usually brings a quick end to any conflict. That last statement is for discerning minds. I heard Ojukwu and Ifeajuna were partners. They were secretly having an affair before Ifeajuna cheated on Ojukwu and Ojukwu decided to reward his treachery by sentencing him to death. |

dialfa: I blame Ojukwu. How can you hand a major attacking force to a Yoruba man? That's because Ojukwu himself was a coward who fled from the civil war in skirt and blouse (probably wearing pants, bras and lipsticks too) abandoning his people...the same sin he murdered ifeajuna for. Ibo people are their own worst enemies Picture this, a whole general dressed in a woman's apparel, complete with the boobsies and the whole package boys lust after, lipsticks and earrings plus all other lady accessories.... Now that is a whole new level to cowardice and not one but two Igbo warlords resorted to this during the civil war so as to save their skins. Now there is a whole new definition to what cowardice is. Ojukwu and Ifeajuna, the CowarDs. |
