PoliticsRe: Judges Boycott Courts In Abuja To Protest Arrest Of Colleagues by vicbummadu(m): 8:53am On Oct 11, 2016
The younger generations will do themselves a great deal of good by dis-aligning with the sentiments the destroyers of this nation have successfully used as tools to manipulate the destinies of the entire populace for selfish gains. They sell religious bias to you, sell regional, ethnic and political sentiments to you and exclude you from the spoils of the victory after you have fought gallantly to win the fight for "them".
I am bothered with so many ills in Nigeria, the arrest of "corrupt" judges is not one of them. I am privy to instances where Nigerian Judges have shamelessly stood law & logic on its head to deliver incontrovertibly inconceivable judgements just because they have the powers to do so.

To me, the accusation of corruption is a weightier matter than the mode of arrest. If in all honesty, we accept and justify the solidarity of their colleagues in the judiciary and also believe that "judges will deal with Buhari" for touching some of their own, it means we have adopted the clique game and I wonder how then we muster the moral grounds to criticize president Buhari and his "clique" of nation drivers for playing the same game.
Nigerian Justices are an impediment to the fight against corruption even before buhari came into power. Howbeit that no corruption case of a "big fish" has been fully prosecuted since 1999? On what exactly are these Judges feeding fat? For how long shall we by a whip of sentiment, sweep weighty matters under the carpet? MTCHEEEEWWW!!!!
FamilyRe: My Wife Is Too Proud To Apologise by vicbummadu(m):
kaboninc:
In as much as people do not apologise for their wrong even after acknowledging it should not make it the norm. That is not the norm. Society abhors it. Even the person who refuses to apologise, should the table be turned would expect an apology.

If your wife does not apologise simply because she wasn't brought up to do so, please let her know its wrong. Let her know she must change that attitude even if that was how she was brought up. And even if she doesn't wants to change, she should note that it still doesn't make it right.

And please do not train your kids in that way - making them think that apologizing is not a big deal. It is a big deal!
MY BEST OPINION ON THIS MATTER SO FAR! How can we adopt our imperfections with zero efforts to learn and improve in areas of "disaster" in our lives? Everyone in life has one thing or the other they need to adjust to, to strive towards a place/personality called "better". You strive for excellence in your career, worship, physical looks and all...why not in your character? there is no excuse for this please, not even the education, healthy career or exposure we make so much about. Even God demands remorse and repentance when we go astray, why should a mortal NEVER feel such a burden no matter the gravity of what they have committed? IT IS UTTERLY WRONG and is not justifiable by any "word acrobatics". Just show genuine remorse of wrong, however poorly transmitted, the offended will catch the message. why would it hurt?
I am in no position to advise on a marriage I am not privy to, nor do I value cyberspace as the rightful place to seek such advise. I have expunged the matter of apology and commented on same as a separate matter, applicable to everyone irrespective of tribe, religion, status, sex and any other classifications. I believe the world would be better if we said "I'm sorry" and "thank you" more, and mean it from our hearts.

Nigerians are spectacular the world over for our ingenuity. somebody should help me tell all those shouting "Nigerian mentality" in a derogatory context. Jumia Megathon is a big scam. why break the internet perfectly yet want us to believe we werent lucky at the end of the day? they may have succeeded from a sales angle in the now but it is a huge dent on their integrity and it will backfire in future.

90percent of total votes cast in the most keenly contested presidential election in Nigeria yet? I can expressly say it is impossible under a free and fair arrangement unless Akpabio has other plans that Nigerians are not privy to
