I have said it before, it is absolutely impossible for Inec to postpone elections on the same day without an executive order. We all know our president and his alleged cabal, the Inec chairman would have been sacked 1hr later.

Twist4u:
Nice question op! I have not read, heard or seen anything related to one b4. If none exist, I call on the National assembly to treat this “postponement art” as urgent matter. It's a very very big lacuna in electioneering process that portend tragedy.

my point exactly.. there should be some stipulated directive on the rule of postponement giving a particular period of time to be given to the masses and corpers so that what has happened now does not repeat itself... Nigerians have become zombies who just follow their government blindly.

Is it possible that Inec reserves the right to postpone elections without consultations with powers that be?
Is it possible that the decision was indeed made overnight?

This was obviously planned and executed as expected.

Now my question is; Is there nothing in the constitution or an electoral act that gives directives on grounds for election postponement?

Nigerian youths are busy playing with sands

lol and stealing underwear...

emorej92:
the truth is, from the top to the bottom of this country, no one knows or understands the idea behind respect for vanity.

Suffering and smiling yes, but we haven’t seen any suffering yet. On the eve of the French Revolution, all the lower class class could afford with a days wage was a loaf of bread. Nigerians have not gotten to that stage. We still see testimonies of grass to grace, with religious leaders constantly taming the masses with “heavenly reward for earthly suffering “. When these are no more, and the masses cannot even afford food, not to talk of shelter and clothing. In Nigeria’s case, over population is underway. Only then will Nigerians realize the effect of political apathy.

score!

Nigerian youths definitely do not look like they are ready for any form of ideological battle with the current political elites, it looks more like they’re getting creative with activities such as underwear theft...

I weep.

STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

Good evening everyone. Our attention has been drawn to an update online that the University of Benin Senate met to reduce the POST UTME CUT OFF MARK to 40%.

We want to advice the general public to disregard such update because it is a scheme from the pit of hell. And we want to send a strong warning to all those that send broadcasts in the name of the STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT that if they are caught, we will treat them like criminals.

We hereby advice the general public to always contact the PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER of the STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT for verification of any circular online and those perpetuating these acts should repent now before it is too late.

In conclusion, let it be known, preached and remembered that UNIBEN STUDENTS AND ASPIRANTS DESERVE GOODNEWS.

Always listen to words of wisdom from those that know the in and out of uniben. Enter uniben with long leg and you will end up being booted out in your 300l during final clearance and documents verification. As bitter as this may sound but I must say it, if your aggregate is not upto 50% then forget being admitted into uniben.

lol.. i beg to defer.. most uniben students think this is actually true... but truth is... some people dont write post utme... and they get admitted.... i have first class info on that... long leg is just not easy to find in uniben thats all..
