Finidi has proved himself in Nigeria as well, he had something to point at as his Achievement in the country. He managed men not boys to win a trophy, not just in few matches but a marathon of matches.

I don't remember Finidi ever winning the Nigerian Premier League. Amunike has managed Tanzanian national team and qualified them for the nation's cup. He has also won the U 17 world cup.

I don't think most Nigerians understand the level of improvement Anambra has made. The state has been on a roller-coaster of educational excellence for over 15yrs and we have receipts to show for it.

If a Catholic school in Anambra was paying 100,000 naira per term as far back as 2011, fees most likely over 500,000 naira now per term, how is that a public school. Let's be truthful to ourselves.

Mater Amabilis Secondary School, Umuoji was established in 1962 and owned & managed by the Catholic Church not Anambra state Government.

The school was languishing in squalor where there was no water, dormitory were not maintaining, no electricity, laboratory has no materials and most of the structures are broken down. But soon as Obi handed it back to the mission and funded the school to tilt things immediately turned around. The school today is a pride of Ndi Umuoji.

Even Queen of Rosary Onicha was not left alone. You need to visit our schools. We are proud to identify with our very own legend, Peter Obi.

This year alone below...non of the news below made front page. Infact those boys that beat 33 other countries were in news all over Africa from Kenya to Ghana.

The difference is that Anambra has consistently won both national and international awards both in science and other areas. I can list about 10 awards won by Anambra schools, students and teachers.

I understand your point and agree with you but Anambra is like the Brazil of education. We have consistently performed and haven't stopped on all measures. That's the difference.

My hometown school, Mater Amabilis girls school (mission school) is another school where Obi did magic. Today, the school is probably one of the best in the country. The school won the award of best secondary school in Anambra last year. They have continued to rake in awards both national and international. These students are traveling the world and gaining experience.

I love my state with passion!
