Make una dey do una analysis dey go. Tammy Abraham remains a very average player that doesn't deserve a place in Chelsea's starting lineup. Abi na back of tv una dey watch..He has zero influence in games, no hold up play, no pace and the motherfuuccker can't even give a decent pass. With all of Lampard's liking fo his brood of english chickens, he knew that tammy won't win him games. So Abeg if you see truth, talk am and stop burdening us with 'stats'. Tammy Abraham is shiite, i repeat shiit.

Hullo Hathor5, I am currently reading The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins, it is a thriller and very interesting filled with suspense.

Since the lockdown started, I was able to read all books on Jack Reacher- Lee Child's character, I have two books left to read from Stephen King, I have flashed through Agatha Christie books too grin

I tried David Baldacci but find him not as entertaining as Lee Child, Forsythe, Tom Clancy with the exception of Absolute Truth written by him(very compelling story)

If anyone needs a website to get books including African Authors, let me know.

Thank you guys.Let's keep the reading light burning wink

Oops, I recommend The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives by Lola Shoneiye, I give it 10/10 wink
Try ken Follett and thank me later

Chairman haha, worst Chelsea striker in a decade with 15 EPL goals in a very average Chelsea team of 2019/2020.

My man am a Chelsea fan to the core but I realized that we are not always having that patience.

Check it out Shevchenko,Torres,Morata,Batsuayi,Sallah,Bruyne,Romelu Lukaku and Daniel Sturridge.
Baba to be be frank with you,Tammy gives no inspirition up front.True,he might score a goal or two once in a while. But be truthfull to yourself.. anytime u see him in our starting 11 on matchdays, dont you feel frustrated?? That boy no be striker abeg, you cannot tell me otherwise.

I will give it 8/10.Very interesting read.Tells the story of financial power and influence. Navigates through the world of America's big business and cooperations. Dives into America's film industry in its formative years. All these tales told from the angle of a young business man and how he built his empire. Very interesting read.

perhaps i watched back of tv. Perhaps. Lemme just accept i did.
Baba some of the things i read here is baffling.,Abraham pressing bayerns backline. Abi no be match wey i watch yesterday.. Tammy Abraham is the worst striker we have in a decade. Alvaro morata was way better than him. Even sef the current bunch of chelsea players makes me want to tear the hair off my head. All thanks to mumu Lampard's leaning towards english fools. Our front three against bayern was terrible...Abeg water dey comot for my eye ontop chelsea matter.

Plus her maintaining her stand ,made tobi turn her against the house..At least we all know tobi got a strike while conspiring against her...Ceec let loose her demon, But under that, lay a sweet vulnerable soul.

Really? cheesy Cool! cool

Why only 7/10?
Thats a high mark na, i try. Wonderful plot, but most indian books always make the lower castes worse off at the end.A very big turn off. The author did not also portray the indira ghandi's regime too well, most of the things he said were true, but indira made india the mordern power she is now. You see japanese authors, them dey tell you truth as e be, so my preference.

My brother, I had an African American friend who was a Major in the US army. Sometime in 2013, when i visited the US, i asked him why it was so hard to defeat Taliban with all the US army's advanced weapons. He told me a good army must have a good deal of 4 items. If they manage to rank at least 60%, then they are truly unbeatable. Ofcourse i asked him what the items were and he said:
1. ~ About 30% of their strength is attributed to bravery and tenacity of their troops
2. ~ About 20% of their strength is attributed to good leadership and good training of the troops
3. ~ About 20% of their strength is based on good experienced strategists
4. ~About 30% of their strength is based on adequate and advanced weaponry.

He said the Taliban had full marks for number 1,2 and 3. Thus, he predicted that the war will finally come to a stalemate and a negotiated settlement. Before Obama left office, he did exactly that and pulled US troops out of Afghanistan. So why did i recall this conversation and share it?

If you are a responsible freedom fighter that comports yourself properly like dalai lama, Nelson mandela, Aung San Suu Kyi, etc, the world will begin to take you seriously. You will begin to be invited by key international news media to state your case against the government. You cannot get there if you talk and act like a tout rather than a leader! Part of the struggle for freedom is to build sympathy to your cause among other people who are neither Nigerian, African nor Biafran. Therefore, when Nnamdi Kanu calls black people inferior to the white man and all that nonsense he says on his broadcast not knowing top national security government agencies even in the USA are listening, he totally loses every credibility as a serious leader. Thereby damaging the cause of Biafra as a struggle by a bunch of unserious street touts. The worst part is that no matter how you try to advise him to focus on the message and not the distraction, he is too recalcitrant and arrogant to listen to anyone. Even if you are Jesus Christ! He childishly believes he knows everything in the world! It's truly a tragedy!

Nnamdi Kanu may be heart broken my friends who had been murdered by Nigerian troops. You already know that good leadership and proper training of your troops will be a deciding factor. Therefore, Nnamdi Kanu should train more leaders and make leadership of his organization something that must not come to an end once he is taken out. If he were not the selfish type and wants IPOB to outlast him, he would make sure more leaders are trained and empowered to do the right thing and take local decisions.

No doubt, IPOB has brave men, but without experienced strategists, the bravest men that rush towards a machine gun without a plan are the same as those who run away from it. The will all die in the confusion and chaos. Nnamdi Kanu is a very poor strategist despite being a very wise individual. Part of the attribute of a good strategist is to always have contingency plans often referred to as plan B or even Plan C. Your enemy can change strategy mid-way and without a plan B, you are already defeated. Nnamdi Kanu says a lot of things that he wants to achieve, but they are all mere rhetoric's. He has zero strategy and has no capacity to build proper alliances with other people that will help him achieve his objectives. The reason he is recognized in America is not due to anything he did. People went out to sell his case to important leaders when the Nigerian junta serially refused to obey multiple court orders ordering his release. If it were Nnamdi Kanu's method, he would waste more time on social media insulting Buhari and the judges, instead of organizing and visiting those government officials and leaders as was done for him.

I don't loath Nnamdi Kanu due to anything personal. I loath him for tactlessness and planlessness. His only strategy is that Chukwu okike abiama will rescue his people. Which is true, but you MUST have a plan and work hard to gain the confidence of important government officials worldwide. Instead of shying away from elections and giving silly excuses that he will be rigged out, Nnamdi Kanu could have used his massive grassroot support to make sure only true Biafrans were elected into offices in his homeland. In that way, nobody in the international community would be in doubt if most of his people support him or not. Infact, he would not need any referendum because the calibre of people elected because of his IPOB movement would clearly show his people support his cause.

I welcome the rapprochement with Ohaneze, Odua people, Middle belt and Niger Deltans. It's common sense for anyone who does not wish the mistakes of the past to be repeated to forge some type of common purpose with these people. You don't need Yorubas in Biafra, BUT mutual respect is paramount. If MNK finally stops insulting people on social media and focusses all his energy towards working behind the scene to achieve his goals, then truly Chukwu Okike Abiama is on the throne and has intervened!
God bless this writeup, well spoken.

Oscar Wilde's books are classics. He was an amazing author. I highly recommend The Picture of Dorian Gray. Amazing read.

I think Broadway also stages musicals but I am not particularly fond of musicals though I would visit if someone gave me a ticket. smiley The plays I have enjoyed most reading were Sarah Kane's plays, which are rather dark, gloomy and melancholic. She killed herself at the age of 28 so you can imagine the type of plays she wrote. I read them many years ago. I don't think I could read them again. I was curious about exploring mental illness back in the day but prefer to keep depressing moods away from me nowadays. Not that I have ever struggled with depression myself but I was kind of obsessed knowing why other people would.

Shakespeare wrote many plays too. I enjoyed Macbeth and Othello best but I find the language rather tedious to read. There are some great American playwrights too, Arthur Miller or Tennessee Williams to name some. I have been trying to find African playwrights but they do not seem to be many.
Oscar wilde.. hmm.. i have heard about him and his books a lot, will feast my eyes on one. I have not been a true fan of plays though. But if i read them at all, i go for the ones that lean towards satire and comedy. Nicolai gogol's plays come to mind. I think russians before the soviet era are the best play wrights. Modern plays are too cumbersome for my fragile mind

Thanks a lot. I have been looking for Asian novels a few weeks ago. Ordered one by an American-Chinese author but did not really enjoy it. It was ok though.
Go and read the Asian saga series by james clavell. Shogun is actually the first book in the series. You wont regret it.

Nice, I LOVE afang!!!

Now let me ask the house a question.

Is it true that no one can cook a native dish like its indigenes?

(e.g)No outsider can cook afang better than Efiks/Ibibios?

You can’t make ewa agoyin, better than togolese?

Etc...
This is very true. I am ibibio and i have not tasted any afang better than the one cooked by an efik or ibibio person. You should try and eat edikang ekong cooked by a proper efik woman. That kind one wey be say u no go see one water inside, even we ibibios(akwa ibom) dont come close in cooking edikang ikong like the efiks. Fact.
