Iamtomilade:
I had my interview and biometrics on the 21st of July. Location: Victoria Island. Application type: standard
I am yet to receive the decision mail but they did send a mail to tell me my application would take longer than the normal 15 working days.
I have the same timeline with yours. Nothing yet except that email that notified that it wouldn't be ready in 15 days. I am hoping something happens this week. Resumption date is getting closer.

I was with these wonderful guys during the finally AIG interview and workshop for finalists. Unfortunately, there was space for only 5 out of 10 of us who applied to Oxford. I guess as a compensation I managed to secure another scholarship in LSE. I still have my eyes on Oxford though, AIG has started this year's selection process. Best of luck.

Good luck to all those applying for the Chevening Scholarship this year. Although I was bounced last year, I managed to secure another full scholarship at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The lesson here is to apply to as many scholarships as possible.

Please have you received any confirmation email from tls? I submitted on Friday and yet to receive a confirmation email from them?
Do you mean you didn't get any email when you paid the IHS and visa fee? What about an appointment letter from TLS?

Please make sure your payment was successful and print out your application do and appointment letter

If you meant that you haven't received any message after the biometrics and interview at TLS then you can track your application on the TLS website.

Hello house, I had my biometrics and interview today. The process couldn't be smoother. It was as if I paid for premium service and I'm optimistic that I will get the visa by next month.

Thanks for the info. It will nice to meet you in London.
LaaJiblik:
1. What was your reason for choosing the UK?
2. What UK School are you going to?
3. What subject (course) will you be studying? And why did you choose that course?

4. Who will be responsible for your finances?
Etc...

By the way,
LSE is very close to my school. I look forward to meeting you in London next month. We could go go to a pub in Soho or Bloomsbury for a drink.
Thanks for the info. It will nice to meet you in London.

Thanks house for your pieces of advice. The issue with my CAS has been resolved. The error on my name in my tuberculosis test report has also been corrected. My university (LSE) has equally sent me the letter confirming my full scholarship. I successfully applied for a one year student's visa today and paid $775 for both IHS and visa fee (approximately 283,000). I also booked a Friday appointment for the interview. Please what kind of questions should I expect?

Please house, what is wrong with a one way flight ticket for a one year tier 4 visa. I was told that it implies I do not intend to come back and might have problems with immigrantion over there. Is this true? Because I can only afford a one way ticket for now.

Please I just got a full scholarship at the London school of economics for a one year masters program (I have genuine documents to prove). However, I have been struggling to raise funds for my visa and other travel expenses. Any amount to support me will be highly appreciated as resumption is drawing near.

Please house, I just discovered that my school made a mistake on my CAS by adding an additional figure to my passport number. Is it true that they cannot change it even though am yet to apply for a visa?
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Vicrown(m): 9:58pm On Jul 09, 2017
Hello house, I recently got a scholarship at the London school of economics and political science worth £34,512 while the tuition fee is £20,122 remaining £14,400 for living allowance. However my CAS reflects that I have £0 for accommodation and I intend to pay rent from my allowance. And I can only have access to the fund after I have registered. Should I mention on the visa application form that I will be staying with a friend until I get my allowance? Secondly, how much is the IHS? Can I pay with verve or MasterCard? Thanks.
NYSC › Re: NYSC 2017 Batch A Corps Members House by Vicrown(m): 5:58pm On Jul 04, 2017
NYSC thinks it is torturing me, but God has planned my life out already.

After graduating in 2015 (technically 2014) and failing to serve because of some mixups

Then I was involved in a car accident that grounded me for another one year.

Now that I have finally registered, NYSC has turned deaf and dumb concerning stream two.

But as God has a way of compensating his children, at about 12:30pm today I received an email that I have been granted a full scholarship at the London school of economics with monthly allowance, everything totalling to about 35,000 pounds.

God doesn't sleep.

Was it your fare that you added to the 3,900 to make 5,000 or some other money to be paid to get the certificate?
Nooo, the tests are 3,900 as I said but I suspect they will collect consultation fee. Just budget N4,500 - N5,000

Try Air force base hospital Ikeja. I did the tests for N3,900, and I will return tomorrow to collect the medical certificate. At most everything should not be more than N5,000
