I expected him to b wise enough to know that there is always different strokes for different folks.

I would go with PTI. Then apply through direct entry the following year. And if successful I would start the 200l and by then I should be in my HND final year. So I'll just run the both together for one year then retire to the university to finish my degree. At the end of everything my CV would be garnished with ND, HND and BSc. How wonderful that would be.
