Everyone wants to have a family, we all want people we can call our own, people who will bury us when we depart from this world.Traveling and dining with my family, Hmm! that's something i can never do.
July 1st, 2004, is the day I will never forget. Growing up as the first daughter of my parent was like being a 'Dirty Nun'. Been bounded by rules 'Strict rules', living in a single room with 5 other people( my family) was like living in a dungeon.Then i realized that Poverty is indeed a disease. My story sheds more light about my Love and family life.I was barely 5 when I was molested, Yes! I was raped like I had no future to hold on.
What baffled me the most was that my Father was the culprit. He raped me at the age of 4.Oh my god! you cannot imagine what I had to go through, I was all on my own... No one to talk to and nobody to counsel me.
To top it up my father smokes and drinks alcohol, he assaults my mum, to him she serves as a punching bag. He rapes me all the time.*Crying* I remember how I used to scream at the top of my voice, Father, please it hurts but all to no avail.
Even when my dad was irresponsible my mum never had the idea that he would go this far to ruin her life.
Although she contributed a lot in the home.In fact, she was the Bread winner, she was engrossed in her trade business that she didn't realize how hurt I was.It wasn't long after I summoned courage and told my mum everything, how dad use to sleep with me, how he bangs me in the night
Ooh! It was that bad. She was swimming in tears, that should be the eleventh time I had seen her cry just within a month.
She gaped for air but i eventually lost my mother to the cold hand of death.
Mum, why did u have to leave my sibling and I in this horrible world , i exclaimed.
I've made a vow never to marry not even to fall in love.Falling in love is like falling into a Pit.Yuck! Men are dogs and they deserve to die like dogs.They use us women like a slave, they feel women don't have any right.
My father had to use and dump me, he was the cause for my mothers death, come to think of it, who will ever decide to marry a waste bin like me? I lost everything, my siblings, my dignity, my mum, What a World!

That's why i find it hard to love
