Try holding the down vol+ power and see if it shows some chiko language. From there u can format it and hopfully it can boot to recovery mode. Also
I know dis might sound stupid, but try puting yr ear-piece and booting to recovery mode. Worked for a friend.
If it didt work d only thing i can think of is changing the mother-board of yr phone, as tecno dont have much support.

u flashed p5 rom in f5! , what were u thinking. I guess yr phone is hard bricked since it cant boot into recovery mode. Are you sure u pressed the right button ( up vol + power).

oh, so what did u put in the "phone number space" ? Yr jamb score or yr phone number. Cus i tried putting my jamb score there, and when i summited, "my jamb score was actually my jamb score".

Sorry to bother u guys;Qsheba, Thewhizkid. Pls am trying to do d clearence and i inputed my phone number in the "phone number space", but when i summited, and was asked to check my details, i saw my phone no in the space for my jamb score.

Eg Phone number= 0802......

When i sumit, i get

Jamb score= 0802...... (my phone number).

Please do you know if its from the site? Is anyone having similar problem?

It's not a problem...Ur admission status will be uploaded later on jamb's website...Sometimes it takes about a year or two b4 some see their admission status on jamb's website...But in.case d need arises and ur name have not yet been uploaded on their site, u can go to their office..They will rectify it for you..You may have to pay some money though...So jux relax...It's no cause for alarm..

U can use ur phone to check ur clearance..The link is there, at the top of the webpage...I used my phone to check mine..

I rooted My sis p5 and flashed recovery image using recovery tools. But whenever I try to back it up by pressing the power and down volume button, it uses to bring out a Chinese language which I don't understand. Pls I need help to reboot in English Pls.

after you flash the rom, reboot the phone and wipe cache. it worked for me.

instructions:
boot to recovery
1. wipe data/factory reset
2. wipe cache
3. go under mount storage and wipe /system
4. go under advanced and wipe dalvik cache
5. select install zip from from sdcard, now choose
zip from sdcard...navigate to the extracted zip file
and select.
then confirm..wait for the rom to finish flashing
now reboot....
