Good people.I need your help and enlightenment on this my people.

I graduated 2014 with2.57Gp BSc mass communication, I will like to study in Belgium for my master in any related course . I need help on how to search for schools, how to apply to schools that will give admission and the embassy procedures for visa. Thanks God bless

In my opinion, your cgpa isn't bad but you need to look for school that offers your program, write the program coordinator stating your cgpa. Ask him or her if you can apply with your cgpa.
Better still, try change field and do another BSc course.. and if you are asked why you are changing field, you could say it's because you developed interest in that new program after gaining experience on the field.
Or look for short courses.
Or look for post graduate diploma or post graduate certificate.
These are not masters but they are higher than bachelors

I'm really interested in this. How can I reach you for more insight pls?

Information is the key.
The more we are informed, the more we save cost.
Belgium universities do not have alot of scholarships except the general one like Erasmus, mastermind and vlirous.
However, you can come in as a self funded student and then apply for grant in your second semester or second year...
Jobs in belgium are cool for students.
You can make as much as 1000 euros per month to support yourself. Though it's possible your studies is affected but i am sure, you can never be stranded.

Thanks for pointing it out.
VLIR-UOS removed Nigeria from their eligibility.
But Mastermind Scholarship is eligible for all countries. Just that some countries have priority.
Good
And there are other opportunities of internal scholarship or exchange programs

Which one is sponsor's form? If that is Annex 32 you are talking about, it is the sponsor who has to legalised that and not you. Be careful with the information that you give bcus this Annex 32 of thing is very complicated and is crucial as far as visa application is concern. In his case he is using block account and no need to legalize that.

Okay.
Thank you for the timely information.
Actually I have whatsapp group for Belgium scholars alone.
You are not to legalized your sponsor's form that is Annex 32 by yourself but by your sponsor.
However you will apply for legalization of your annex 32, you can go with your sponsor to the embassy and do it with him or her. Just ensure you book the appointment ahead for your sponsor if they are in Nigeria because most of them might not have time to book the appointment.
PS: I am speaking from the experience I gathered from those who passed through the process and I have my visa approved already, so I see no reason to mislead you.

Let me leave the rest to my boss @konja44
He will do justice to rest.
I will be off from this group for now.
Wish you success in your application.

@konja44
How Belgium, I hope you are enjoying the place. . Can't wait to see you.

thanks Victor. Presently I have just statement of result for my degree as the university says our certificates are not yet ready, even after three years of graduating. will that count at the embassy?
Yes you can or better still collect cover letter from your school or you mail embassy before applying

hello Victor. Mine is master's degree. How many documents do I need to legalize at the embassy and foreign affairs

Waec
Degree
transcript
Police clearance
Sponsor's form
These five are to be authenticated at ministry of foreigh affairs and legalise at the embassy too..
But for federal ministry of education, you are to authenticate your waec, degree and transcripts only.
Once you are done with the federal ministry of education, you can then proceed to federal ministry of foreign affairs and then legalise at the embassy.

Overall...

I have gathered some facts...

1. Legalisation of documents in MOE, MOFA and Embassy all in Abuja!

2. You need to present proof of solvency and admission letter to the embassy...

3. You must have official copy of transcript and certificate before you go to the embassy...

Now my questions are;

1. What happens after step 1?

2. Do I book for appointment on embassy for interview?

3. After getting my proof of solvency and admission letter what's the next step?

Thanks once again and sorry for the inconveniences...

1. You proceed to visa application. But you need to feel your visa application form online and gather your documents.

2. No you don't book appointment to apply for visa. You only book for appointment when you want to legalise your sponsor's form.

3.You gather your documents, do your medicals, police clearance and legalise the ones that are to be legalised.

Please how much is administrative fee for belguim, i am seeing 2 different figures. One is 204 the other is 207.
Thank you for your anticipated response.

It was 204 around February but it has increased to 207 now.
So you are paying 207 euros

Thanks so much. I believe after fulfilling all these, success rate of visa is 90%

1. You don't need to enroll before you apply for visa. With your official admission letter, you are good to go.

2. No,your living cost is different from your tuition fee. You can pay your tuition fee when you get to Belgium unless your progra
m say otherwise.
So if you are using block account, just pay for living cost alone and I think it is more than 660 euros per month.

3. For your visa, payment of tuition is not part of the required documents. Just your international passport, home administrative service, passport photographs, waec, degrees certificates if you have any, their transcripts, sponsor's form or block account or scholarship, filled online application form, police clearance certificate and medical certificate.

I think I have answered all your questions. ..
Cheers

Yes by God's grace.

Gurus in the house. I need answers to my questions;
1. Do I need to enroll before I apply for Visa since I have upto October 1 to enroll?
2. Is my tuition fee going to be calculated with my living cost of €660 per month if I am yet to pay?
3. Do I need to submit receipt of payment of tuition during visa application?
Waiting for your kind answer.

1. You don't need to enroll before you apply for visa. With your official admission letter, you are good to go.

Hi gurus in the house, I found a school I really like in Belgium, but the mode of instruction is Dutch, now the school said they can offer me a conditional admission, so I can take language classes in a language school for a year, which I’m willing to do, cos i really wanna learn the language, because I feel it will be of great help to me.

Now my question is, what are my chances of securing a language school visa in Nigeria?

I don't know of Dutch but I know if German school in lag.

if the school refuse to stamp the photocopy of the original certificate and transcript, will the embassy accept certified true copy from high court?

you are not certifying your transcript.
once you have official transcript with you, that's enough.
what you are certifying in your school is the photocopy of your certificate.
the reason why your school refused to certify them for you is because you included transcripts.
pls be guided, it is only photocopy of your certificate you are certifying. and your school must put stamp of the school on it to confirm that the certification is coming from them and not from someone else
