good day everyone on this forum especilly those in the field of safety. i have been witout a job for a while . after getting about 2yrs banking experience, i lost my job. i immediately enrolled for my masters. while doing my masters i also had some safety professional qualifications (hse competency level and others). am trying to secure job wit my safety qualification but the thing tire me. pls i need help especially from experienced safety officers. pls save a brother before idleness do sometin bad to me.

PROJECTS:
The Special projects assigned to the Directorate include:
• The renovation/rehabilitation of 50 primary and secondary schools across the State(see attached list);
• The construction of 10 model primary schools all over the State(see attached list);
• The remodeling and rehabilitation of Baptist Hospital, Eku as well as equipping the hospital with modern, State-of-the-art-equipment;
• Construction of a 100-bed integrated Mother and Child Care Centre at the General Hospital, Warri as well as equipping the Centre with modern, State-of-the-art equipment;
• Construction of a 100-bed integrated Mother and Child Care Centre at the General Hospital, Ekpan as well as equipping the centre with modern, State-of-the-art equipment;
• Construction of 30bus shelters and 4 City bus terminals across the State;
• Completion of the Trans Warri-Ode-Itsekiri Bridges and Access Roads;
• Completion of the Dualisation of the Ughelli-Asaba, Sector A,B and C;
• Sapele Abigborodo-Arowon Road;
• Ogheye Floating Market;
• Sapele Modern Market
• Expansion of Osubi Airport;
• New Government House Project;
• Construction of 4 new polytechnics at Sapele, Bomadi, Aboh and Abigborodo
• Renovation/rehabilitation of Customary Court across the State.
STATUS
The projects, most of which have been awarded to various contractors are at various stages of completion. It is expected that a good number of them (especially the school projects) will be commissioned before the end of the second quarter of the year. This is besides what is being done by the Ministry of Education, SUBEB and other MDAs.
COST
The cost implication of the projects being executed by the State Government through the Directorate are as follows:
• Rehabilitation/renovation of 50 primary and secondary schools – N7,776,329,522.71;
• Construction and equipping of 10 Model Primary Schools: N3,682,962,194.38
• Mother and Child Care Centres:
- Warri (construction and equipping): N1,503,663,486.67
- Ekpan (construction): N492,229,414,191.38
• Baptist Hospital, Eku (Total Remodeling/Rehabilitation and Equipping): N2,649,414,154.03
• Construction of 4 Polytechnics: N4 billion
