Nigerians always trading blames.... we have many "good coaches " here. I wonder what stops them in coaching our eagles... pls leave the coach and his boys, they know themselves better, if the boys are not OK with the coaches formation, they will let him know... clearly the fault of last nights game was not from the formation, but as a result of our inability to defend set piece and our finishing touches was overall poor... I believe they can do better in the next match against Iceland.

I only see Iceland as a trouble maker, we will beat Argentina if we stop showing to much respect for Messi, based on what I saw In Nigerias game yesterday, they are capable of outclassing Argentina like they did in the friendly, all they need now is a must win against Iceland which will boost their hunger for a win against Argentina.

all Nigeria need do is win there remaining 2 matches(which I believe they can cos they played well yesterday, only ran out of luck)... drawing a match is a no! no! for me because that would require permutations and combination of football... get six points from the remaining two games, relax and advance to the next round.
Nigeria still has a good chance of advancing, Iceland will be a tough one for them, but if they can improve even better from yesterday's game, they will definitely beat Iceland and Argentina... sentiments aside, I was impressed by there play but disappointed with their finish.

it's never over until it's over... what distinguishes the whites from the blacks is there ability not to let temporary set backs defeat them... you keep fighting till it's over... Nigerians are just too negative, they are like the Biblical Nathaniel that asked "can any thing good come out of Nazareth "....many Nigerians saw the group and concluded that we won't qualify, and I don't expect much from them as we lost yesterday... but when you fall while running, you dust it off and move on cos it's not the end of the race... we shouldn't even be talking about drawing a match right now... we need to beat Iceland and Argentina or forget about this World Cup... as it stands, Nigeria and Morocco are on the same platform, there group has Croatia and Iran topping with three points. the other two have one point respectively in each group, Croatia and Iran won't hold that position for long, Morocco and Nigeria needs two wins or at least a draw to secure a place, Nigeria has Iceland and Argentina to face, Morocco has Portugal and Spain to face, the odds are against them.... so I can safely say, Morocco and Nigeria are the first two African teams to crash out at the group stage, unless they prove me wrong.

I still have to admit that the boys tried... it was just a pure case of luck been against them, just like Egypt.... Croatia, with the way they played will surely be roasted by Argentina and Iceland.... but to be sincere, I only see Argentina and Iceland topping that group and advancing to the next round, unless Nigeria wins there next two matches which for me is almost impossible

the draw of Argentina and Iceland is a blessing to Nigeria... we are leaving this group unbeatable, Nigeria to win by 3 goals to nothing against Croatia.

there are two reasons for me why Nigeria lost there last three friendlies
1) avoid injuries
2)to shift opponents attention away from them

the second reason even seems more logical... after cruising through the qualifiers unbeaten, beating Argentina and Poland in our last two friendlies... it would be foolish to win all our games, that will only spark attention from our group D opponents and make them sense us as potential threat, hence, the need to disguise and lose the other three friendlies even against Czech, so that Croatia will see us as a work over.

I think nairaland has automatically diminished most of you guys ability to reason beyond your environment, the fact that most of you actually spend 24 hrs a day, 7days a week online tells a lot about your ability to reason, nairaland has become your reality where likes and shares makes you Kings and queen, you have cut your self off from the main reality of the world we live in, hence, you get the wrong impression of a particular tribe and hate them for no just cause, many of you don't really know that the internet leaves a long lasting impression of how you sense reality or view it, which is why you take your hatred for a particular tribe and bring it to the real world...you forget that a Yoruba man can create a moniker like "ikenna" and say something nasty about the Hausa's just to start a tribal war online, musa might see this and strike back, he might even take this beef offline, hence a tribal war has been waged, the internet is a powerful tool that can be used to propagate war and hate if it falls into the wrong hand, but love and peace will reign if it falls into the right hands, spend less time communicating in the virtual community called nairaland or any media platform and spend more time doing so in reality, you would understand how this forum has painted the wrong impression about a tribe or people... the Igbo's are not troublesome, neither are they jealous of the Yoruba's or Hausa's..... at least not the ones I know of in "reality".
