She was with Rain but it was denied but some ppl said they really dated before he also vanished to the army and started dating Kim tae hee.

I have not been a fan of hers but DOTs changed my view.
Dating revelation while the show is still going on is gonna turn out bad cuz it could be detrimental to the show and may lead to backlash, especially to her since Koreans haven't forgotten her tax scandal.

I have never cried so much over a Korean movie like I did for "The Throne"(Sado). True life story. But I will NEVER see The king as someone great even though he was known to make his kingdom flourish. Killing your own son is a no no in my book. That man did everything in his power to love you. He may not have what it takes to be king but a father's love is all that matters.
Don't get me started on the prince's mother(concubine) who was even the one that suggested the worst death possible in the history of death. Heavens!!!! WHAT KIND OF MOTHER IS THAT? EHN

He had mental illness but its not his fault he had it. He wasn't good with books but he was good with arts. Even his teachers tried to explain to the king that hes good with other things but not reading. When he reads, he doesnt do the "garbage in garbage out", instead he explains it in a way he understands, which is correct but nooooo....le king wants "garbage in garbage out" like Nigerian lecturers. He's brilliant but reading is not his forte. The prince tried to please his father but the man would just turn his back on him. To the extent of getting new concubines just to have another son. kilode? Isn't that enough to make him go mad? The only support he had(his grandmother) died and he was all alone. His wife only cared about her son, his mother was weak, The prince' concubine couldn't do anything cuz...duh, she's a concubine.

E just be like pikin go school, but e no sabi book but e get other things wey the pikin go sabi wella but yet some ppl go call am Olodo, thereby making the kid to believe that maybe he's an olodo true true.

Putting your son in a rice chest, starving him for 8 days without food and water and blocking air from entering the chest thereby making him die of suffocation is just bad. BAD BAD BAD. He might be a great king in history but he's the worst father in the history of worst fathers.

sorry for my rant jare. Consider this a review of the movie.

Yoo Ah-in did a good job.I can see why he became a trend in 2015.

in "The throne", he acted as a prince with mental illness.
In "veteran" he was a drug abuser and hin head dey touch small.
in "6 flying dragons",(which is coming to an end in a Week or so ) His character don dey get scoi scoi for head(and its also based on a true story).


Yoo Ah-In sshi, E don do o.. No act as mental person biko. It yaf do.

Ahn ahn which type of movie be that?
Just by reading ur review, i can tell that the movie is definetly sad, starving his own flesh and blood, that's too harsh, he got his own son killed, so what happened to the father after the death of his son? Lives happily ever after? Or felt sorry towards his son because of his own actions?
Chai that king is definetly one of the worst king in history because he failed in protecting his own son, so why should someone acknowledged him as one of the greatest king ever?

I'm not gonna watch that movie, lai lai or maybe i might try it out later if i've got megabites to waste...

Dots is slaying the ratings, the OSTs are topping all the music charts, really fantastic. There are 4 more OSTs to be released, and the song that played on her phone right before the confession is the next one to be released.

Junsu, Kwill, Yoon Mirae, Lyn... My fav people! Seriously, I'm love with the soundtracks.
I wish Baek Ji Young and Ailee too sang for the drama.

Don't blame Chihoonie too much. its his first time in that kinda situation. The hospital is different but being at the site of the quake and also being a part of it can make u afraid. it just takes experience and fearlessness to be a doctor. Even of u have a lil fear, it doesn't mean you are weak, it just means you are human.
All you chihoon has to do is accept his mistake and move on to bra better doctor cuz na human life and person gas no play with am.

Medical field no easy I tell you. Being in a hospital and being in a warzone/ earthquake area na different thing o. The experience with death is different wella.

I think that was the fault of the writer anyway, because in real life a doctor wouldn't do that..

That scene in ep7 where Mo yeon had to choose who to save between the two injured men was so sad.

Chi hoon is really a coward.Doctors are trained to be tough...even in difficult conditions.
I know it's not necessary for me to say this but...my immediate younger brother is a medical student(currently doing his clinicals).The day we visited the hospital's emergency ward,I was so scared cos there were dead bodies everywhere...but he was just there..walking about as if nothing happened.Medical students even do practicals(dissection)with cadavers(corpses) in their early years and they're used to seeing dead bodies.
I get that he was crying cos he couldn't save the boy that was trapped... but he did the best he could do...he even called the rescue team.The job of a doctor is not to cry every time a patient dies...but to try your best as a Doc and leave other things to God.

A doctor should be tough, my big sis is one (still serving though) and i'll tell u that no matter how much sad a scene or situation is, my sis won't shed a tear, crying is not something she does often, i've only heard her crying while watching some kdrama...
If u are watching an emotional drama with her u'll be frustrated because while u are buzy crying she'll be making fun of u or faking her own tears lol..

I think I understand baby doctor a bit. He's a rich kid used to a fancy hospital and sterile environment.
All his years of medical practice, I'm not sure he was prepared to face a natural disaster situation first-hand.
When that guy died because he made the wrong call, I can only imagine how traumatising it was for him.

And let's face it, 90% of us would have done what he did in ep8. He reached out for Oga 10lives, but when that stone hit his hands (hello, surgery!) And the building started collapsing, baby put himself first and had to leave. At least he told the soldiers someone was still trapped inside.
Speaking for myself, I honestly might have done the same thing.

Ep8 ending... I could feel MY's mortification. That has to be the most embarassing moment of her life!

YEP running away was the best option for him, but but poor min jae dind'nt see it that way, the situation was different he thought as a doctor he should have saved him first...

"The only thing I'm not good at fixing...is a woman's mind" and the nurses (and I) turned instant fangirls.

Apart from the romance and the pretty, the writer does know how to tug at my heartstrings.
There is a lot of other things going on. The baby doctor's arc is just killing me

And there are those people who are still selfish in the midst of a disaster! Someone shoot that plant manager!! if I didn't dislike him enough in Empress Ki, I totally despise him here.

ERM erm.. This drama is daebaek, it's been such a long time since i last had such a beautiful action drama, maybe in iris 2, everyone are portraying their characters so well, especially shi jin and mo yeon..

Myung joo and dae young are finally having some cool moments.. Poor chi hoon i felt his pain, he tried to save the dying person but the situation dind'nt permit him, but no matter what as a doctor he should saved the person's life first, running away was the same way as showing that he's not a capable doctor, compared to moyeon she would have done anything to save a person's life, chi hoon still have a lot to learn or maybe his heart is just too weak to be a doctor, yes that reminds me in that scene in episode 4 or 5 where he was crying because of a patient's life, i was like dude what's the problem, are you not a doctor?
So the medical team are finally leaving *applause for them* after everything they've all went through, each and every single one of them deserves to see their loved ones peacefully, but i really don't wanna see them leave, i want to continue seeing them alongside with the armies, besides i don't think mo yeon's heart is ready to leave yet lol..

At that last scene of episode 8 yeshhhhh omg i had to covered my eyes with my hands lol, so embarrassing for me to watch..

Not gonna lie, I was angry too. Even his fanclub(dayrock) ain't happy about it. some Chinese fans are telling him to do a kdrama too. He gave an Interview last week and the reporter told him about the issue from fans and he said he knows about it. That he will come back to kdrama after the premiere of his movie(fabricated city) which will be out June/July. so, fingers crossed.

The longer an actor stays away from dramaland, the harder it is to return. 'Cos there is going to be pressure for the comeback drama to be a hit. So that's probably why they will be taking their time looking for the best possible script. You know these days viewers don wise up, they don't watch dramas for the actors again.

Still, lmh should comeback jare. Aint that much of a fan, but 3 years absence is long enough na. If he doesn't do a drama before he goes to the army, that'll be 5yrs of no lmh on our screen.


As for Wookie and co that are running to China ('cos that's where the money is ) na them sabi. I was annoyed when I read Wookie is doing his second Cdrama in a row. Even the Chinese fans are using style to tell him to go back to Kdramas. Lol

Yeah,seems like Lmh wants to retire from dramas.That's his business,I'm tired of waiting for his drama.i'm keeping myself occupied with Joong ki at the moment.At the rate he's going,he's lose his popularity soon.Movies make actors popular but dramas make them more popular.Not saying he shouldn't act a movie...but he should at least act one drama before enlisting. wow....finally..i finished reading about 9pages of this thread I left behind.

it's actually been I while I watched Korean drama/movie....I thought I wasn't going to overcome Korean drama...OBESSESION...but I discovered I ve not seen that drama that will make me come alive in Korean drama world again...

abi the gurus like, hilda90, ellab, viki,..slimadenike....etc wan to make me come back alive?... proof it by recommending just one drama that will make me not my the amount of data I will use in downloading it.....

meanwhile the way Korean drama like all these empress ki, city hunter, Healer, a man called God and many others I have watched....the way ih de do me be4......ehn
