Ezewuzie01:You nor see the placard? Today is day one - INTRODUCTION. |
Ph.D student. Nothing else. |
AbuTwins:Says the person who created this thread. What scope did you have in mind when you asked the question? Or were you limited to the scope of your thinking? You asked us to defend ours which we have done. Now defend yourself you're setting rules for yourself. ![]() |
thanks @MightySparrowHe came out here claiming he knew something while he knows nothing. MightySparrow: |
AbuTwins:Make your rules all you can. Defend the previous verses with this. Since you claim you have all knowledge. Quran-41:9 : Is it that ye deny Him who created the earth in Two Days ? Quran- 41:10: He set on the (earth) Mountains standing firm high above it, and bestowed blessing on the earth, and measured therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in FOUR DAYS… Quran-41:12: So He completed them (heavens) as seven firmaments in Two days and … P. S: How can someone who heard directly from God as acclaimed make several mistakes in correctly stating the number of days of creation. Yet you condemn Matthew who rightly quoted the the first person to prophesy about the purchase of the land with the money used in betraying the Messiah. Stop running away and answer with your full chest. |
@AbuTwins Can you be kind enough to help explain what the Quran states about the creation of the world? Or confirm if my transliteration is correct of these verses? How many days did it take to create the Heavens and the Earth? Quran-7:54: Your guardian-Lord is Allah who created the heavens and earth in Six Days Quran-10:3: Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in Six Days Quran- 11:7: He it is Who created the heavens and earth in Six Days Quran-25:29: He Who created the heavens and earth and all that is between, in Six Days |
AbuTwins:Look at this wit. A minute ago you claimed they were similar. See you contradict yourself oh man. Only if you could see how frail you sound right now. Then you would know best not to make a noise about Matthew's referencing style. |
AbuTwins:How easy for you to contradict yourself? John and Elijah were similar persons abi? What makes Zechariah and Jeremiah similar? If they were different personalities? What would John and Elijah be? I stated at first you were here to spew a baseless argument! |
AbuTwins:How does that help you now? When John was called Elias... Was he really Elias? Matthew (11:14) Quit this argument please |
StillDtruth:Quite correct that he's trying to stir still waters. I understand now that his motive for posting this is to prove some academic prowess and argue without listening to others. Thank you. |
The passage in Matthew 27:9-10 attributing the prophecy to Jeremiah is actually a reference to Zechariah 11:12-13, which you rightly quoted. However, there are a couple of theories for this: * Some scholars believe Matthew might have been referring to a collection of prophetic writings that included Jeremiah and Zechariah, and simply attributed it to the more well-known Jeremiah. * Another theory suggests that the passage in Zechariah more closely aligned with the events of Jesus' betrayal, and thus Matthew applied it here. Now here's why... Zechariah 11 is not directly quoting Jeremiah, but there are connections between the two prophets' writings. Here's a breakdown: Zechariah 11:12-13 describes a symbolic act where the prophet takes thirty pieces of silver, throws them to the potter, and declares it a "magnificent price." The prophet Jeremiah doesn't mention thirty pieces of silver, but there are thematic connections to his prophecies: Jeremiah 19: describes the potter's field and the judgment of God for innocent bloodshed. Jeremiah 32 portrays Jeremiah symbolically buying land, potentially foreshadowing the misuse of money. Matthew, in the New Testament, combines these elements when attributing the prophecy to Jeremiah, the first prophet about the field of blood. This connection highlights the fulfillment of ancient prophecies in the events surrounding Jesus' betrayal. In summarizing, I think to balance it, Matthew could have also quote Zechariah. |
Matheusmartin:Oshiomole equally rose to power on the mantra of "One Man one vote" but look at him today... We know what happened in 2011 for his second term and Buhari's two terms. This game should be balanced.

Rained here in Benin City too... Don't know the significance you're referring to but for me I saw it as "SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS".... |
whizzler:Well it'll interest you to know that he is not the Defacto owner of that song. Like Alan Walker who asks voiceovers to sing his songs, Chief Osemwengie Ebohon wrote and owns that song. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7267080160996789509 Just trying to pass a message |
Hey check up Tweet Binder and Sprinklr |
$100 The store initially lost $100 when the man stole the $100 bill. However, when the man used the stolen $100 bill to buy $70 worth of goods and received $30 in change, the store effectively lost an additional $70 in goods and $30 in cash as change, making it a total of $100 in losses. |
aQUINandmore:1. Do you or do not see OssiomoPower? Do you or do you not see the street lights powered at Airport Road and Sapele road? Please do answer. 2. I don't work for the state government nor have the statistics but I can point at Benin Technical College, Ugbowo, School of Nursing, Ugbor, School of Health, Dumez (on-going). Thank you for mentioning Usen and Ekiadolor but mind you Ekiadolor has been taken over by the Fed. Govt, as a Federal University for Education. That's now outside the state government. 3. IGR? I can't substantiate or agree with this figure until I confirm. Have you seen the Edo City Mall? The EMOWA? Please we're running round same circles. I'm just saying he has done some things while you claim there's nothing on ground. 4. 🤣🤣🤣 How has sexuality entered the discussion? |
ayclem01:🤣🤣🤣 I can't but laugh when I saw this. I'm not going to join issues with you please. How many buildings are there in that complex please? Well let me help you 6 (Block A - D, PALM house and the Civil Service Commission). If he's was to do all once where will he place the staffs, documents and equipment? You question his timing of doing the buildings but I'm glad you didn't negate that he worked on them. Buildings left over 20 or more years all fixed and completed, equiped before the renovation of the palm house. I sure do not put my car on my head when driving through the city and I go through good roads oh (not perfect). I don't know about you. My issue is when you say NO good roads are in Benin City, that Generalization once again is FALLACY. State the things the way they are. Some roads are good done by the government and others are there to be touched. I don't know how you're waiting for him oh. He has finished his two terms? Is he contesting again?😂😂 |
