Jobs/VacanciesRe: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by vimma(f): 7:35pm On Jun 07, 2018

Oh! thanks dear for the information. God bless
I was chatting with one of their representatives this afternoon and she said I would be contacted IF I'm shortlisted; then I explained to her everything. She later called me herself & said I should ask for anyone I know who is about to write and that I should go along with the necessary documents even without the invite.
Please where were you chatting with her from?? I urgently need to speak with a representative. Thanks

Good evening, please I’m passing out this month, so I don’t have the NYSC certificate yet and I was called for a test on Saturday.

Those who have written the test, were they strict with the documents? And can they allow me write since I’d get my certificate hopefully by next week?
Mukah1234 please can you help with this? My test is on Saturday

CondomSir:
The University of Ibadan does not offer any Remedial/Pre-degree/Diploma/A'level program.

If you want to still take part in any remedial/pre-degree program, you might want to consider one of these schools;

Obafemi Awolowo University,
University of Ilorin,
Federal University of Technology, Akure,
Some universities in eastern, southern or northern Nigeria(please make your research).

Please beware of fraudsters who tell you they can help you process UI remedial/pre-degree program, as there is nothing as such in the University of Ibadan.
I finished from UI and I know that UI runs a diploma program. Its not public, a lot of people Dont know about it, but it happens.

I didn't believe too before, until my choir member at seat of wisdom said she went through UI's diploma program.

But for these online people advertising it, they could be fake.

I feel really compelled to speak on this issue

Yes, its the pure fact, if you score below 50% UI won't admit you. That has been the tradition for years now.

But please, Dont rub it on their faces. These people are looking for hope, they are sad, they prepared for this exam, so they are shocked at their scores.

Advice them gently please. There's no hope to get in with less than 50%, yes they should know. But I read the very first comment that started this, and to be honest Ntaliban, it wasn't nice.

Now to those who scored below 50% but are sure of their preparations, it could be that you didn't shade your answers properly. Hence your score.

Learn from your mistakes and come back stronger next year.

Please don't waste your time doing nothing at home. Join a good tutorial or an A level class.

See you all at the top!

With love from Vimma

Realism?? Iam not ignoring it.OK take this scene for example
Lazarus was poor, the rich man was rich
Lazarus always ate the crumbs that fell from his table any time the rich man is eating, imagine hard hearted man.the rich should have said something like lazarus come and work in my house as a cleaner then I will pay you either monthly or daily ..but he did not think like that. he saw lazarus never beco byming like him or he himself(the rich man)
One day they met and you know rest
Example 2---you in your big jeep passing a leper by the side of the road;;
Scene 1--you get down meet the leper and sympathies ,hand him some tip give him advice on how to go about his condition .
Scene 2-- you get down from.your car and start saying 'Mr man don't you know you are creating a nuisance here ?get away from.this place and go find something to do..or am I the one that made you leprous ??and the leper will be oga no talk like that na no fault, even me sef I no.like this condition, people passing by will be like what is wrong with this man(the man with the jeep)
Now note my point
Reality---he is lame already.. But approach differs .don't you know that the second scene can make that leper do something he never taught of doing?
This world is a small place.remember what goes around comes around

grin grin
My thoughts exactly

Being real is not a crime

But your APPROACH matters

Zik hall food is trash, please Dont bother going there to eat, except of course if its your hall of residence. Their food is cheap though. The one time I ate in kuti, it was horrible, maybe they were having a bad day, I never went back to find out.

Tedder and mellanby have ok food, atleast I've ate there a lot, and their food is cheap too.

Queens and idia(not sure anymore) have good cafeteria, don't know about awo.

Iya anat(anatomy) has good food, but expensive. People say her amala is nice, i say its crap!
Those of us going for MBBS might have to patronize her at some point.

Amala Skye bodija, has the best amala, trust me, you'd keep going back for more.

For those that are extra, shawarma children, please, NEVER buy shawarma from spices, totally horrible and expensive. Go to the guy at conference center, his shawarma is on point! And its cheaper.

In the end, its cheaper to buy your food in bulk when you're resuming for the session, and prepare your sweet sumptuous meals yourself. Only eat out when there's no other option.

I was almost unprepared for this exam(work wouldn't let me read). But in all, it was ok. Whatever the case may be, I already have a first degree. I hope it turns out well in Jesus name!

All the best to everyone on this thread. May our sincere heart desires be granted by God.

My thoughts on this exam
If you studied with lamlard and went through their past questions together with UI practice questions, you shouldn't have much of a problem with this exam. At least for clinical science aspirants. #MBBS2017/2018

If you were having issues logging in before, trying inputting your surname (password) in capital letter. That was what I did before I saw mine.

Thanks ajet001 for the suggestions

Good luck to all writing today

Who is in charge of the WhatsApp group? Please add ……... Thanks
