Business / Re: Nylon Bag Business In The Northern Part Of Nigeria by Vinny22: 7:07am On Jun 01, 2021
I'm into this business, and I know it's a gold mine. I reside and do business in Ondo Town. I sell dura pack products, but I seek a place to get the products cheaper to fairly compete with others. If the poster is indeed a registered dealer, I would like him to send me a message. My number is 08142397393.
Business / Re: A Profitable Business You Can Start With 15,000 Naira by Vinny22: 3:45pm On Nov 17, 2020
I need all the info I can get about this business. The business promises a lot.
I stay in Ondo state and I want to buy from Ibadan and sell in Ondo.

Most especially how I could differentiate between faulty ones and the good ones.

Thanks.

A ponzi scheme feeds on people's greed; Nafs feeds on job seekers' desperation, no difference.

It is only a fool that would sign a bond without having ALL the terms and conditions clearly enumerated. They are paying to train recruits and that is wonderful. But everything needs to be placed on the table for all to consider. They got lawyers involved and expect the uninformed recruits to get involved without a lawyer of their own. That is a bullshit arrangement. They screened

I know a lot of us are itching to start working. But carefully consider if it's worth it to sign away five years of your life for what? 50, 000 or 55,000 naira per month?

Four years is simply too much. Two years is okay. Three years is perhaps considerable, but four years is insanity.

Every organization has a policy, but Nafs policy is inconsiderate. It's slavery. They screened to get the best. They should be ready to pay for the best, simple.

Was your text from NAFS or a phone number?
And please do you know any affordable hotel or guest house close by. I am coming from out of town.. My budget is 2-3k

I don't stay in Benin. Hence, I don't know. I will be lodging with a friend for the night, somewhere around Ring Road.

I didn't receive text am thinking to attend the interview with or without SMS.

You can try your luck if you stay in Benin or very close by. My guess is that they already have names of those they invited for interview. No harm in trying though. Just do your cost-benefit analysis.

Everybody is not going to be interviewed the same day. I'm scheduled to be interviewed on the 4th of Nov. I believe some people who are here would have theirs on either 5th or 6th.

Nobody knows for sure what the interview questions are going to be, but my guess is that it could be a means for them to determine how good you speak, your typing speed on a computer keyboard, your understanding of Court Reporting, some insights you drew from the second test, why you think you are good for the job, information about yourself, your knowledge of stenography, and your ability to listen -- if you seem distracted during the interview, they might think you would be distracted during court proceedings.

If you want to be a smart ass interviewee, you may as well learn somethings about the need for automating court reporting in all the courts in Nigeria. Every company wants to hear something that would sustain their existence.

If your hair style is street-like, you may as well cut it to low-cut, at least for the interview. If you have long finger nails, consider cutting them.

Ask questions at the end. It tells the interviewer that you have been listening critically and not merely answering questions.

A lawyer once wrote to me, ''Vinny, you can not become a rich man by working for the government.'' So don't expect them to pay you 100, 000 naira or above. I don't expect them to do so, too, but I pray they make an offer that is reasonable.

Mine is just First Test and I didn't hear anything about Second Test from Abuja center because we're less than 50 people that did the First Test and the date is Saturday 14th of September 2019 and we make use of NAFS Training Center in Abuja for the Test. If anyone have information pertains to Abuja center kindly share it here. Thanks

You didn't hear from them again because you weren't successful in the first test. That is my theory.

Good Day House, anyone here that did the second test in Abuja Center here, because I was thinking the second test is meant for Benin Center only because of the large number of people from Benin center. If anyone have information that's helpful for the Abuja center, please kindly share it here. Thank

Did you write your first and second test in Abuja? If you wrote yours in Abuja, share the date of your test so that we might know how to help.

In total, we were 359 candidates, mentally jostling and shoving ourselves for about 120 positions of court reporting. We had 50 minutes to answer 60 brain racking questions. We were tested in spelling, vocabulary development, how often we used our thesaurus, comprehension, poetic analysis, rule of grammar and punctuations.

pls who knows what the second stage would be about

Nobody knows for sure. Just be prepared for anything. It could be interview or another form of writing. But what I know is that it has to do with writing, reporting, and copy editing. The test would be on any of the three. I wouldn't be surprised if you are asked to write another essay.

Moreover, their approach to the recruitment seems vague. They don't want to come out open and tell people what they will earn during and after the training. They seem not to realize that people are coming from far distances.

Best of luck.

If you were invited for the second test, please go.

Make sure you acknowledge the invitation either by mail or sms.

I guess you guys wrote the first one well. It could also be that they want to give you another trial. Whichever way, you seem to still be on track.

My fear is that you guys don't know what is coming. Could it be an interview or another essay? If it's another essay, how long would you have to write it before you would be qualified for the training? What are you suppose to go with? So many questions without answers.

Good luck though.

It takes months for Nafs to contact candidates about the outcome of aptitude test. And would take some months before the oral interview letter would come. I'm speaking from historical precedent of the company.

I contacted one of them through the phone number they made available on their website and was told that they were still marking the test. I asked the person whether we would hear from them soonest, and if yes, when. He said, 'I don't know; once the company is through, we will contact the successful ones' (He seemed somewhat pissed off by my question).

That is all I know.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nafs Technologies by Vinny22: 10:28am On Sep 23, 2019
When I arrived the place, I looked around for the CCTVs but couldn't see any. I looked around and saw people who were not formally dressed as they instructed us to. I saw as the man collected any passport photograph size without consideration to the 5cm×5cm size they instructed us to come with. The invitation for the aptitude test they sent didn't contain the name of the invitees. I obeyed them by not going to the test centre with my phone because I love to follow instructions, but I almost lost my way, since I was supposed to use Google map to navigate a place where I had never been. Surprisingly, many people came to the centre with phones and nothing was done.

If other opportunities call, don't hesitate to take it. Nafs may say one thing and do the other. They have shown us examples.

The selection would not only be made by your aptitude score. You will still be invited for an oral and computer typing test interview after the aptitude test. If you are successful in the two, you would be selected for the training.

Go with your print out, but you will still go back with it. You must go with a passport photograph preferably a 5cm×5cm and your pen. Endeavor to be there on time.

Graduate trainee program of Nafs Technologies lasts for 18-20 months. The sixty people employed by Lagos State Judiciary after Nafs trained them in 2015 are paid at the region of 50,000 naira monthly. But you still make good money from lawyers who want proceedings printed for them, the gig economy, and still have time for some other underground hustles (Nafs mustn't know or you would be sued).

During the training, you will be expected to sign a bond keeping you out of other jobs. While the bond is till binding, you can't hunt and be employed by another organization or you could be sued.

In the course of the training, you will be paid some token to cover your transport fee. Employment is assured if you are serious with the training.

I went for the test on 14th and we were told to write an essay on ''Nigeria of My Dream'' in 15 minutes. We used about 3 classes at Imaguero High School and each class contained, to my counting, 122 persons. They said they aim to employ ''over 100'' of us and it's strictly based on merits.

I have provided you with the information I researched from people who started the training in 2014 in Lagos. There is a very important question you guys must ask them tomorrow, ''WHEN NEXT ARE WE GOING TO HEAR FROM YOU FOR THE ORAL INTERVIEW?'' Please ask this question and provide the answer here. I forgot to ask them. Good luck.

Thanks.
