A former spokesman for four United States Ambassadors to the United Nations, Richard Grenell, has said that if former military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, emerges as the next president of Nigeria in next Saturday’s elections, it would be a disaster for the entire African continent. According to Punch,Grenell, who made the declaration in a piece titled: Nigeria on the brink, and which was published in the Washington Times, a US based publication, of Thursday, March 19, 2015, described Buhari as working tirelessly to enthrone Sharia law across the country, which he said would further pose a major challenge to the fight against terrorism in Nigeria and the continent at large. He said: “Western foreign policy observers pre- occupied with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria. Opposition candidate General Buhari wants Sharia law throughout Nigeria. In fact, he wants it everywhere. “Is this an indication that Buhari supports violence because the end goal of the terrorist attacks throughout Nigeria and Africa is an Islamic state? It is a legitimate question that should be asked by leaders of the Obama administration... “Boko Haram has pledged its allegiance and support to ISIS. The Northern Nigerian based Islamic terrorist group wants Sharia law throughout the country and beyond. They are also actively terrorising Chad, Niger and Cameroon with their goal of an Islamic state. “Buhari has also spoken sympathetically about members of the terrorist group Boko Haram, has cautioned against a rush to judgement on its members and has personally been selected by the terrorist group to lead its negotiations with the Government of Nigeria. “Buhari’s election as Nigeria’s head of state would be a disaster for Africa. It would also signal trouble for the West’s fight against ISIS and terrorism throughout the Middle East.”According to Grenell, Goodluck Jonathan has made commendable inroads in strangling Boko Haram to submission in recent weeks and so deserves the support of the Barack Obama led United States administration and the rest of the world. “The Nigerian economy has been growing faster than South Africa’s. Imagine what Nigeria could do for Africa if it was also free of Boko Haram’s violence. The Obama Administration should be doing more to ensure Africa’s most populous country doesn’t slip away,” “Islamic radicals have Africa on their target list and young Nigerians are reported to be interested in ISIS’ messages. Nigeria is at a tipping point. The West, and specifically the Obama Administration, needs to wake up to the growing problem,” he said.In October 2014 during an interview with TheCable, Buhari had said that he was not a religious fundamentalist or extremist as his opponents had alleged.. “Nigerians will always uncover impossible room for manoeuvre for politicians. In 2003, I chose Chuba Okadigbo as my running mate. He was a Roman Catholic. He was an Igbo. In 2007, I picked Edwin Ume-Ezeoke. He was a Roman Catholic. He was an Igbo. And in 2010, I chose even a pastor, Pastor Tunde Bakare. “Honestly, what do Nigerians want me to do Source:- #kolawolesamuel..co.uk/2015/03/must-read-buhari-wants-sharia-law.html?m=1

The Dangote Group has expressed optimism that with its ongoing agricultural projects across the country Nigeria is on its way of being self-sufficient in the areas of food production. The group reiterated its determination to support the federal government in its effort to revolutionise the agricultural sector and make Nigeria self-dependent in the areas of food production. Reputed to be the single largest private sector employer of labour in Nigeria, the company is currently investing in fertiliser, rice, tomato paste and sugar production, among others. It is also building a 650,000bpd petroleum refinery which will be the single largest in the world. Only last year, the group signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to invest $1 billion for the establishment of fully integrated rice production and processing operations across the country. The statement said the MoU and the planned investment are a response to government reforms of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) launched in 2011. The statement said the group has acquired farmlands in Edo, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kwara and Niger states totaling 150,000 hectares to be used for commercial production of rice paddy. The company will also establish two modern large scale mills each with capacity to mill 120,000 metric tonnes of rice paddy while doubling the capacity within two years, becoming the single largest investment in rice production in Africa. The rice plants are estimated to produce 960,000 metric tonnes, representing 46 per cent of total rice imported into Nigeria. The group's president, Aliko Dangote, during the signing of the MoU, said that Nigeria, "is capable of producing rice that can feed the whole of the West African sub region." The Dangote Group is also said to be investing in tomato paste production in Kano as well as a $2 billion fertiliser projects in Edo State. The statement said however, the Group's foray into Agric and food processing business began in 1997 when it keyed into the backward integration policy of the government in sugar sub-sector of the nation's economy. Widows in Imo State have shower curses on Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, and his supporters for allegedly peddling falsehood that the widows placed a mock coffin at the gate of Government House during their protest two weeks ago. Speaking after their praying and fasting session on Sunday in Owerri, the chairperson of Imo Widows Association, Mrs. Ijeoma Nwabueze, expressed shock that rather than condemn the beating of the widows, Governor Okorocha and the Eze Ohiri-led Council of Ndi Eze resorted to blackmail and falsehood to disparage the innocent widows and cover the atrocity the youths had committed against their mothers. "We pray that if the allegation of parading a mock coffin is true, then whatever Ndi Eze Imo wish of them, let it come to pass. But if not, may coffin never depart from their families and the Almighty God, who is the husband of the widows, should visit their wives," Nwabueze said. The association of widows also placed curses on traditional rulers who attended the cleansing ceremony and the hoodlums who were allegedly mobilized by the state government to flog and inflict injuries on them. "Those who knew that the governor and the traditional rulers' accusation is false and are promoting it, there is a curse attached to such atrocity, and also, whoever may have participated or engineered the attack on the harmless widows, who merely engaged in a peaceful protest, cannot go unpunished," the widows declared. They stated that the wrath of the God of widows would also visit two commissioners in the state and a top female official of the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) for allegedly supervising the beating of the widows and alleging later that the widows were found with a mock coffin. The widows prayed for quick recovery of those who sustained injuries during the protest. A group of thugs had on Monday, February 9, 2015, beat up some widows who were peacefully protesting allegations by some APC stalwarts in Imo state that Minister of State for Education, Prof Viola Onwuliri, killed her husband who had died in a plane crash. Prof Onwuliri has since denied that she sponsored the protesting widows.

The OBA OF LAGOS has PROVEN that PRESIDENT JONATHAN has HELPED NIGERIA! When people try to accuse Jonathan of being responsible for Nigeria's corruption and other unsolved problems, THEY DO NOT KNOW that our President is actually working to END these problems! The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, said that PGEJ should not be blamed for Nigeria's problems, he believes that former President OBASANJO actually planted most of Nigeria's corruption problems! Not only did OBJ rig Nigeria's elections, he also is responsible for over $130 billion unaccounted revenue from his regime! How can he accuse President Jonathan of being corrupt, when he is one of the most infamous corrupt politicians in Nigeria? #nigerians will not be FOOLED by OBJ's lies! President Jonathan continues to fight corruption and we will CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HIM! http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/ 174515-oba-lagos-blames-obasanjo-not-jonathan- nigerias-woes.html #TheJonathanRevolution #GoodluckJonathan #GEJ2019 #MarchForwardWithGEJ

Having searched the Chatham House website thoroughly, our platform, BDB, can say without more, that General Muhammadu Buhari has no business with the Chatham House between now and early March contrary to Gen. Buhari's spokesman, Garba Shehu statement that the Gen has been scheduled to give a talk at the House. We reproduce below the Chatham House's Time Table from now till March 2 showing all its events during this period, none of the events has Gen. Buhari in mind for any programme either as a keynote speaker, ordinary speaker or guest. See http://www.chathamhouse.org/events Garba Shehu on behalf of Gen Buhari had issued a statement that: 'The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday left Abuja on a short working visit to the United Kingdom. In the course of this visit, General Buhari is expected to hold meetings with key members of the British political establishment and interact with some global institutions with stakeholder interest in the affairs of Nigeria. General Buhari would hopefully give a talk at the prestigious foreign policy hub, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatam House in London.' Another platform, Ourexclusive.com, also reports that they called the contact phone number on Chatham House website to inquire about the attendance of Gen. Buhari, and was categorically told 'he is not expected' by a female voice who answered the call. According to Ourexclusive.com, they later sent an e- mail to Chatham House Head of Conferences; Alison Archer who promised to get them the log of their expected guests, but who however confirmed that 'no Buhari from Nigeria is expected'. Investigation one the website further showed that the last time Buhari was a guest was in June, 2011 after the presidential poll, when he and his then running mate, Pastor Tunde Bakare went to discuss 'Nigeria's 2011 Elections: Reflections on the process and prospects for Nigeria'.

See what he has to say :-Yesterday, I met with Islamic clerics and scholars from the Southwest. It was a most rewarding meeting in that I increased in knowledge from that interaction. The peaceful coexistence of Muslims and Christians in the Southwest is an example to the whole nation and the world at large. I thank the clerics and scholars once again for honoring me with their presence and may God bless Nigeria. GEJ.

Once upon a time, a group of 50 people attended a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and started giving each person a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room. Now these delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their respective names written on within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their names, pushing and colliding with each other, and there was utter chaos. At the end of 5 minutes, no one could find their own balloons. Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloons. The speaker began: "This is exactly what is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is. Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Help them Find their happiness and you will get your own happiness too. And this is the purpose of human life... Learn to put a smile on one's face, and U will also smile in due season. |

One day a man saw a old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her. Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. I t was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, “I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.” Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid. Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way. He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, “And think of me.” He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight. A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn’t erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan . After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: “You don’t owe me an anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.” Under the napkin were four more $100 bills. Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard…. She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, “Everything’s going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.” There is an old saying “What goes a round comes around.” Today, I sent you this story, and I’m asking you to pass it on .. Let this light shine. The Yorubas Support Pres. Goodluck Jonathan The Ooni of Ife, is the Head of the Spiritual Wing of the Yoruba people. He supports Jonathan. The Afenifere is the Head of the Political Wing of the Yoruba. Its members support Jonathan. The OPC is the Head of the Military Wing of the Yoruba. The group supports Jonathan. So, when the Spiritual Head, the Political Head and the Military Head of the entire Yoruba nation are with Jonathan, what else is lacking? If you say the people, then you are in the wrong. SDP of Falae and Osoba; UPN of Fasheun; Accord Party of Ladoja; Akala of Labour Party, the full membership of the Yoruba-PDP and more than half of the Yoruba- APC members support Jonathan re-election. I am a member of the APC but I support President Jonathan's second term. Tinubu's APC cannot deliver the Yoruba votes for Buhari, a man without an ordinary secondary school certificate. Don't be fooled by APC social media lies and propaganda. On March 28, the majority of the Yoruba people know what to do |
