I had a lengthy discussion with my friend who owns the car this weekend, and he categorically told me that the lowest he can sell that car is 650k.
And i've edited the price right above.

This is very sad. To see that you want to tarnish my image just to advertise your car website is very pathetic to say the least.
Wouldn't it have been better to encourage the likes of enokoko, jaja and I amongst others, to come and advertise our cars on your website that way bringing traffic on there, rather than using such a dirty tactic like bringing down our reputation just to raise yours? Why are some people wicked like this for goodness sake?

It all depends on what year you mean.From 2001,Volkswagen vastly improved its quality of both engines and vehicles.The 2.0petrol engine comes in 2 forms:an 'ordinary' and the turbo.Its used to power Audi's A4 and A3 as well as some Skoda Octavias,Seat Leons and Toledos and of course a variety of Volkswagens.
Having used the same engine in my Audi,I think its well built and durable.Of course,you need to service it regularly to get the best out of it.Not to mention 38mpg.Fantastic!
Make sure your car's electrics are intact and you should have little (no) worries.A friend of mine is an ardent fan of VW and has found them quite reliable.The current Passat is so good its almost challenging the premium products of Merc;BMW;Jaguar;Lexus;Audi etc.Its generally rated higher that the new Avensis-which is saying a lot.
So,I think its a good choice and I hope you have many happy years of motoring ahead!

That car you're seeing is nothing less than 2M at best price in the market(Just try and ask around about it).
I actually reduced it to that level(1.4M) due to the pressure my friend who owns it in the US is mounting on me to sell it off as he needs money urgently.
If it has to go below that price, then i will personally buy it, calm down and resell it at a higher-rate. So if you can afford it now, better grab it.
