@MamaTobenna.... I am using BA as well and the best advice I can give you is to buy this ticket as we see am now cos it will only get worse oooo.I was going to wait as well but I can't afford to feel sorry for myself unless you want to take the chance sha....Cheers.

@daddy.....first of all,I see you really need answers but you didn't ask your question well so I would ask again so we'll all know what you are looking for
1) what do you mean by necessary things? If it's documents to show at the point of entry...go through the thread carefully.
2) To carry fish to the US....I don't think so...if you google prohibited items on cbp website,it's prohibited but some people are still able to get away with carrying clean and packaged dried fish(I wouldn't do that though)
3) What are the REST you mentioned?Let us know so you won't go with palm oil ooooo grin

You are right @lizcom.Booking my ticket myself just makes me want to scream remembering all the times we involved agents.
I also want to say again whoever asks one to read from the first page is seriously telling you the right thing. I can't even stop appreciating what people have done from the beginning till now based on information and guidelines and believe me when you start from the beginning, you will be an authority on birthing issuessmileySome people click on this page and have not asked a single question before but they go and come back with good POE stories and that's because they read and got all they wanted without asking. Please make we try.I can assure you, hormones have no hold on our reading abilities.

TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by Virtuousdiva: 7:48pm On Nov 06, 2014
@moniyet.....why not use british airways to dallas Fort Worth then Elpaso or British airways to Chicago o' hare then Elpaso. These are the next best options unless you are looking within a specific price range.

I am not surprised that the thread is quiet. Its really tiring seeing so much repetition and the moment someone decides to inform people to start from page 1 and not from page 200 and something, some people think its rude and advice that it's best to keep them quiet. Groundnut eaters, please pass me some abeg cheesy

If someone asks you how you knew of so and so dr or hospital at the point of entry,Is it not better to say,I did my research than saying i got it from nairaland. No offence meant, just wondering because these people don't even know how we help each other here and for them when they hear nairaland,it's like an association that teaches people how to hide pregnancy and do sneaky stuff. For those who are yet to travel, please oooo, don't allow these people intimidate you.Sometimes we get all shaky and start mumbling.Remember all the planning it took you, pray and be composed. kiss

@PetMe13......thank God for everything. Some people at that POE are just sadists..When Nigerians are saying I have 8000 dollars plus money in your card,I know say body go dey pepper them plus the eye ones that are dealing with racist issues. Some of them stay at that airport and just be counting people's declared big money and frustration will just be dealing with them.It is well.May we all have successful experiences in Jesus name.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by Virtuousdiva: 1:49pm On Oct 25, 2014
@Gbae, so sorry about your experience. Please don't lose hope oooo. You can start researching other options and see if you can try again. I read on an earlier page from someone who had put to bed saying that if she had just applied to Del Sol directly, she would have paid almost 10k,so to an extent using the Doctoresperati is okay just that they really have to find a better method to come across to people as being extremely genuine.Check healthgrades website and just search for a definite doctor in any state you intend going for in future and see if you can get a good price and a good letter of responsibility. It is well.

[quote author=MerryMom post=27411982]Na wa o.

Can we say Doctores Para Ti or Del So Medical Centre doesn't exists? No.

My brain may be overworking but I think what has happened is that plenty people, I mean very very plenty have carried the Doctores Para Ti letter to go (just pay 150 dollars and viola!) and get Visas at the embassy (pregnant or not) and then did something else or went somewhere else with those visas. I may be right or wrong. As a result, they VOs don see the Doctores Para To letter finish and it has started vexing them.

MerryMom,I wish you were wrong but you aren't.I have seen where people on this thread have advised others to use Doctoresperati letter and then port to somewhere else.We don't know the hundreds of unregistered people who read all these things and just pack so many funny ideas in their heads.God bless those who have given straightforward and candid advice and are still doing so.Please let us not be misleading with our info. Its obvious that those embassy people don tire to see letter from Doctoresperati or maybe na just individual VO mood.

NB-Nobody should ask me again to call someone out even when you know what I am saying is true.If you want to know if people have suggested using the El Paso peeps letter and then port afterwards. Read through the thread and you'l find it.

There's something I have noticed on this thread for some time that's not cool.I have noticed that some people are just tagging wherever the breeze blows them. From the beginning of the thread till now, some people have changed doctors and even hospitals 3 or 4 times.I am not saying this is bad cos I have seen people here who have genuine reasons here maybe cos of VBAC,CS or even price.Where I have issue with is someone who hears Dr A,collects details, tags along and then Dr B starts trending, they tag along as well and then we hear of Dr C and those same people are still interested. Some people here will continue to be indecisive no matter what happens but please if you are interested in 3 or 4 doctors, kindly do let the various people know via pm so that we don't open a new page and see that it doesn't have a single useful info.
NB-It's just my opinion. Please let nobody chew me raw kiss

[quote author=Pricelessamzy post=27159129]Good morning everyone!

It seem none is going to Indianapolis on this forum! Can't seem to find any hospital. And my cousin that stays in Indianapolis is telling me about $10k for normal delivery and $15k for CS! Would appreciate if anyone can help out.

Hello Dear, most of the information we are lucky to benefit from this forum were researched and googled by others.I will advise that you google hospitals around Indianapolis and make some calls.Give or take,it could take you one week but it will mean that you will help yourself as well as helping someone in future.Anybody that will give you any information which is not here is lucky to have heard or is going to google the info for you.Just thought to let you know.

[quote author=sayoberry]I'm just still considering. I got prices for C.S and it was good. about 8000 minus pediatrician, circumsion and tests but there's chance for a normal delivery. dh is even saying I should just do the c.s in el paso and close eye...

No wahala. The Lord is your strength.Just make a decision that will be comfortable for you.
