I am in need of an investment idea on what to invest 200k into. I am a youth Corper presently serving in a private firm in Abuja. I have about 200k that I have saved over the past months and I wish to invest it into a passive business that can generate extra cash for me. The nature of my work doesn't give me free time except on some weekends. Most times, work takes me out of Abuja. Your suggestions are highly appreciated |

Good day guys. Please would love ur sincere advice from you especially from people that know about travelling and immigration. My younger sister just got an offer from one of her lecturer to come and act as a caregiver to her aged parents in UK. My sister is a university graduate and she presently employed in the federal government N-power job (30k per month). Even though this offer appear juicy but we still need advice from learned and more exposed people as regards the matter. First, her lecturer said she will get her visa for 6 months (as a tourist/visitor) and from there and from there she will see if she can help her get her stay. But what tends to be our point of concern is what's UK immigration policy like? What happens if she is unable to get the stay after 6 months? Won't it be like a shame? Will she come back and start husting for job again (even though she earn a meagre amount where she works now). We just thinking from both sides cos sometimes, grasses appear to be greener at the other side. Travel guides and agents in the house, please help do justice to this matter. Thanks |

Got to know that federal government budgeted #500 per meal for each Corp member in orientation camp. The question that came to my mind immediately is are the meals served at orientation kitchens worth what FG budgeted? Then to justify my thinking, I tried to compare the quality and quantity of foods served at my orientation camp to the one sold at mammy market in the camp. Sincerely, it's very visible that we are being cheated in camp officials both in quality and quantity. A plate of food in my orientation camp (Rivers State) costs #300. If you wish, you can order for an extra plate for an additional #100 making #400. By the time you finish eating this, you won't even be able to carry urself to parade ground or SAED lecture. The quality of the food is also superb because of the competition of food vendors. On the final note, if possible, I would advice the FG to pay corps members the meal allowance daily so as to buy what they want and like. Not all these compulsory and poorly prepared food with low quality given to us in orientation kitchens. Who else is thinking like me? What's the quality of food at ur orientation camp? Would you prefer to be paid the #500 per meal directly? Share ur camp kitchen experience here |
nextprince:Sir. You were connected one way or the other. Connection is not by knowing Obasanjo, Atiku or Tinubu. Connection starts from the civil servants you meet in office at the point of collection and submission of forms, processing and so on. Sometimes, it's good to be connected with highly placed civil servants than politicians or royal father's. |
Hello house. I just finished my proposal / plan to be submitted to prospective investor. Even though the plan is loan-worthy, I still feel I can get grants for it from international governmental and non governmental agencies. Please, any one who knows how to access international grants should drop it here or contact vision2020ispossible@gmail.com Thanks |

Even though an not in support of Buhari's selective corruption fighting strategy, I still believe that Nigerians should stop supporting corrupt politicians. The reason they embezzle and mismanage our funds is because of the support they receive from us. How on earth will a top placed politician like Oduah not have maids. Even, people living on the average life have more than a maid. Remember she collects house maid allowance, what is she using it for? |
I swear, this is the highest mistake Lagos state can make. Some people's source of livelihood solely depends on street hawking not because they choose so but because of government's inadequacies to provide job. I just foresee crime and terrorism to be on the increase that even Ambode will revert his decision and tell the rich and the poor to start hawking. Even he himself will hawk Gala and Lacasera to show that the policy has been reverted when the time comes |

Gone are the days when 'make sense' are still in Nollywood. But what we have now are hunger stricken people who have come to take solace in acting |

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested a former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, who was declared wanted about a month ago. It was learnt that Omisore was arrested in his Abuja home on Sunday morning as part of investigations into the N4.7bn that was siphoned from the imprest account of the Office of the National Security Adviser in 2014. The commission had alleged that Omisore received about N1.3bn from the money during the build-up to the August 9, 2014 election in the state. Omisore had, however, denied the allegations and even sued the EFCC for defamation.
