So I decided to host my blog on whogohost but still undecided as to the host plan to pick from. I dream big for the blog and am considering to take it up as a full time career. Please enlighten me about the plan to pick for the first year.

I wanted to register a domain name for my blog but it has been taken already. I contacted the owner because the site is listed for sale and he told me to bring $1500 which I can't afford.
Now am considering registering other close alternatives that are available and would like you to choose in terms of which will be more easy to remember by my readers, easy to pronounce, etc.

Wanted to register hiphopnigeria.com b4 (not the real name).
Now I am left with

B. hiphopnigeria.com.ng

You can learn web development on your own if u put ur mind to it "am a living testament of that" but building a site like nairaland from scratch on your own is going to take some time and lots of reading.
Checkout out www.w3schools.com to get a good understanding of how u need to proceed, more like a course outline.
Then you check out www.lynda.com for video tutorials. Remember all this won't be possible if u don't own a personal computer. Since this is about learning without spending a fortune, I can send you a DVD copy of HTML essential training, Css essential training and when your done with that and I see u have the heart for it, you will send the JavaScript, and the baddest of them all...PHP essential training. Please, would like to know what language or program I need to learn to build a forum (Design and structure similar to Nairaland but content completely different and targeted to a completely different set of people). Even though am still a novice in ICT, I would like to build the site myself from the scratch.
Oga Seun can also encourage me by telling me the necessary steps plus including the materials to use. Also, I don't mind direct tutelage and mentorship from him as his life and style has always been a motivation to me and reason why I want to model his path.
