I experienced the same. School did not confirm my payment until 10 days after I got my TELEX but I kept pressing them and sending follow-up emails letting them know that my bankers have confirmed multiple times that the payment had been effected.

Send an email to your bank with the TELEX reference that school hasn't confrimed the payment. When they respond with their confirmation that the payment has been effected, forward that response to the school. That should buy you some time.

I believe the payment will reflect before the deadline.

This Thing called Form A is not encouraging at all, and it seems like it will take like 2weeks before it gets to my school after payment and my school deadline is close, 18th Nov.

I did my bio on Aug 20, called and issue was escalated on September 12, today make it 15 working days yet I called and I'm told decision not made and they will get in touch whenever a decision is made. Replied the the second day and got a message from bank that Uk embassy want to confirm my bank statement of account
I had canada Ban-because of fake bank statement
Brazil refusal-because of fake bank statement
Colombia visa refusal too. All declared
Decision made on 22th Sept..

You don't need to pay for Walk-in on your appointment date. If it is assisted service you mean, yes you can pay for assisted service to help you upload additional documents. However, since you said transcript wasn't requested on your CAS, I don't think its necessary.

Things to take along to Biometric:

1. Checklist
2. Printed appointment mail
3. Passport
4. Photocopy of passport data page
5. Not necessary but printed copy of any confirmation email of premium service you may have paid for e.g priority service, primetime, premium lounge etc

Let me give you guys a hack to this whole processing.

When you see someone ask or post about difficulties scaling through a certain stage that you have not reached, screenshot both the question and most relevant response or solution provided by other people.

This is because it may be useful for you when you reach that stage. Basically, most of the questions and inquiries you want to make have been made by someone else and solutions proffered.

@Giselle237 @Dduchess90 @LagosIsMyHome @Justwise and a whole lot of other people have answered the same questions repeatedly and honestly, they have tried.

I'm not saying you should be pessimistic but it is better to have a resource you do not need than need a resource you do not have.
Even if you remember someone had posted it earlier, you may have forgotten their moniker or which part they even posted it. A screenshot will save you all of these stress.

As such, endeavour to arm yourself with as much information as you get on here and keep them for reference purposes.

Surely, there are exceptional cases which may be peculiar to different individuals. Drop them here and people will be glad to help.

This is what worked for me and I'm convinced would help a lot of folks here.

No. If you have a study gap of 5 years>, just indicate what you have been doing since your last degree with evidences such as employment letter, payslip, CAC certificate, promotion letter and the likes.

If you think your CV will help your application, add it but it's not compulsory.

We have read here that it isn't as important as we assume it to be.

You can chase up for your BRP mail through some links @Dduchess90 dropped earlier just to tender as evidence at the POE if they ever ask for it.

With only your passport, you can collect your BRP at the designated location when you arrive the UK.

Yes, some schools have sessions that begin in that space of time but oftentimes only for select courses and not all.

Give yourself a 5-6 months head start because of unforeseen issues. It's better to have your processing concluded as early as possible than trying to meet a deadline when school has resumed.

TLS refund they say takes forever.

If you don't need the service anymore, ensure you upload your required documents before the date of your Biometric. Intiate a refund and just wait as long as you can. Do not expect the money in earnest. TLS has even put a clause that refunds takes about 30 days but I'm not sure there's anyone who has even testified of getting a refund.

Turkish Airline with 1 stop over at Istanbul doesnt require a transit visa.

If your connecting flight is from another Airport in Turkey where you have to move within the country, then you may need a transit visa.

This flight schedule has 2 stops. One in Nairobi and the other in CDG.

Except if the CDG stop is a technical layover where you will not be required to step out of the plane, then you can book it.

If you have a deadline, I think you should make an another paid call and inform the person who attends to you of your deadline so they can send a reminder to DMC tagging your Application Inquiry as 'Urgent'.

Seriously, I don't understand this anymore
I did my bio on 19th of August (standard, VI) and after much calls and mail, I received my brp letter on the 21st of September, indicating that decision was made on 12th of September.
Since then till now, my application is still with DMC.
I made another call this morning and I was told that so far I have my brp letter, nothing is wrong anywhere. He also acknowledged that my passport is with the DMC.

Honestly I'm tired!!!

You may have to check for farther dates.

I couldn't get one for my prefered date. I had to opt for a farther one.

In fact, I had a ticketing officer book for me in the middle of the night. Appear fares reduce slightly during those hours.

In my search for cheap flights recently, I know for a fact that Ethiopian Airlines shouldn't even be considered if you're on a budget. Their fares are just too high in comparison with Kenya Airways, Royal Air Maroc and Egypt Airways.

Majority of African Airlines do not require transit visas.

But I learnt here that Egypt Airways which I booked with will request Yellow Fever Vaccination card which can be gotten at the Airport for 5K. Alternatively, you can go to government hospitals or designated centers to get your vaccination done.

To secure cheaper tickets, you may have to book 3 weeks ahead minimally considering the demand right now. If you're moving with your dependant, it may be advisable that you go first and book a distant date for your dependants to cut costs.
