wunmi590: Thats because the other state governors, are so dull to the extent of not having any ideal to develop their own state..
People run to Lagos because thats the only state that has the amenities they want..
I'm from Lagos state, if better job opportunities comes from other state that is less crowded I will move, my saving grace is because I've 4 family house from both parent is what makes life so easy for me.
I just work, and travel to Ibadan every weekend where my wife works in one of the state ministry.. Contrary to what many people believe, no state Governor built Lagos state. Lagos state has been the most developed state because it was once the Federal Capital and it is located close to the sea. Lagos Port has the only functioning port in Nigeria. The HQ of many top companies are in Lagos. Dangote just built his refinery in Lagos cos it is close to the sea. Many other states don't have this privilege. |

This is a shame. Nigeria is a disgraced nation. Imagine this amount of impunity. That is why I am angry with the likes of Pastor TUNDE BAKARE, Wole Soyinka and Pst. Adeboye. As for Mbaka, he is inconsequential. BAT doesn't care. He is ready to sell everyone and everything to remain in Aso Rock. His political ambition is worth the life of everyone in Nigeria. His only strategy is how to win election. He doesn't know jack about Governance. That's why I pity some Yoruba people who praise him as their Messaiah. They are the one who gave him the power he has. Why didn't APC choose Prof. Osibanjo to be president ? But rather they preferred someone with no track record of integrity. |

HeroicMeastro: The attack was simply unprovoked. Imagine two muslim nations joining forces to attack a sovereign nation, killing over 160 school girls and several hundreds of innocent, unarmed civilians, with no clear justification? It will be term act of terrorism and their religion will be called all sort of names regardless of their inclination. This is the highest level of hypocrisy and double standards we've seen in recent times from the so-called world leaders. Spain and South Africa are the only exception. No magnitude of bombardment from Iran to Israel/US can bring back those girls or remove the pains in the heart of their parents. Imagine sending your kids to school and receiving them back in body bags. It's inhuman for any sane person to be happy about this. Trump is using the wrong approach. It's just confusing. We know the havoc Hezbollah is causing world wide. But they should have considered a way of taking them out with minimum casualties. But then, these extremists need to be taken out. They are a curse to humanity. |

Mattswaggz: Be deceiving yourself....can all these so called god of men be deceiving people in large quantity in America, can their leaders steal openly and come and share peanuts to them to be hailing them during campaign and also vote for them?.....all those people doing yahoo are they the leaders?....all those people that when the price of goods they already have in stock increases they rush to increase but won't do same if it decreases are they the leaders....all those police men extortion road user, military men abusing power, poor men giving birth to kids they can't cater for are they the leaders.
Compare the priority or Nigerians online and other top countries who have good IQ and see the difference in their activities and interests online on an average. Nigeria's biggest problem is tribalism and religious bigotry. If we can fix that problem, Nigeria will move forward because the right people will be in the right place. For instance what will make a grown up man like Seyi Law to disgrace himself in a podcast by defending the government ? Why will the Judiciary be singing, "on your mandate we shall stand?" And so many disgraceful things |
Politics › Re: US Defence Budget Is 21 Times Larger Than Nigeria’s National Budget by vislabraye(m): 2:08pm On Mar 03 |
Mattswaggz: The US has hundreds of military bases spread across the globe so this much is expected...... meanwhile Nigeria is a rich country (Natural resource wise) and poor country (Leadership and Citizens wise)......For Nigeria to grow and earn it's respect a majority of the people will have to think at a higher IQ rate and learn some basic morals like patriotism, honesty, Altruism, being more logical than religious etc but that is still far from happening as it stands. . Nigerians have a higher IQ than an average American. But Nigeria issue is deeper. You have wecked and corrupt leaders. For instance why will some politicians sponsor terrorism ? How will a General tell Nigerians to be willing tom accept repentant boko haram ? This is a country that k3ll its citizens ? Our citizens will prefer to vote a cr!minal than a renowned intellectual ? |

LordVoldemort02: I need some honest advice on a situation at my workplace. There’s this guy who has been constantly disturbing and harassing me. I’ve tried everything to avoid him—I’ve warned him multiple times, told him the implications of his actions, and I even have evidence of all his disturbances. I’ve even ask for a change of location.
The problem is, despite all my warnings, he recently tried to attack me. I’m really trying to keep things professional and avoid any 'police wahala' or ending up in a cell because of him. At one point, I even thought about using a weapon just to protect myself if he lunges again, but I know how Nigerian law can be. I don't want to face a criminal case over a nuisance.
How do you guys handle a physical threat at work when you don't want to involve the police? If you have all the evidence as you said, why don't you escalate it to HR or the Management ? |

wazobeer: Brother, there are also Igbos responsible for bringing the "current government" in, so stop mentioning Yorubas as if some Yorubas also didn't vote for PO.
Nearly all young people in Lagos voted for Peter Obi but today, every Yoruba is now a "Tinubu supporter" and somehow deserve insults, making it HARD for PO to get the same votes he had before. Obi's Igbo fan base used insult and tribalist mentality to ruin his fan base. You can't use the same approach of IPOB agitation to win election in a country with different tribes.
By the way, no matter the emotion you attach to politics, people are always free to vote for who they like. Let's separate emotions and sentiments from reality. The Igbos that brought this government in, like the Mbakas, Nnamani, Igbokwe etc are irrelevant. However, these men are not respected at all. I don't mind voting for a Yoruba man. Why didn't APC bring Osibanjo if they wanted a Yoruba man ? He is also bona fide candidate for the job but they brought in an old cargo who has cases of corruption. You talk about PO fan base. The truth is that we all have such fan base in Nigeria. Some of Tinubu's fan base are be toxic as well. Or are you talking about Buhari's fan base. There are toxic fan base everywhere. We just have to know where to draw the line. |

He tries something today, and you're weak. He puts something bigger, and you're weaker. Which president goes to France when you're shouting that the man is stealing our money ?
- Amaechi spoke today at the joint press conference of opposition political parties

There is this girl am dating, she doesn't listen to corrections. She likes to argue, likes attention and she has anger issues but she cools down after sometimes and starts trying to please me. Well she is very jealous. When we argue, she will be like "I am tired of this relationship,i will leave bla bla bla"but she never leaves. There was even a time I distance myself from her so that she can leave but she never does. She stalked me everywhere then.Though i dont see any sign she is cheating. Anytime she sees me with a lady, she is always jealous and hot tempered (something Yoruba calls Ara gbigbona) and she will try her possible best to be humble to me and use bad eyes to look at the other lady and sometimes challenge the other lady (I don't know if you get what i mean) She is a Leo by zodiac sign and she is very smart Well I have two girls as a serious replacement for her already if her cup don full The reason why I am still considering her is because she is hard working and she doesn't ask me for money or bill me.We are both bankers but mine is zenith and her's is Eco bank. She has this hard working spirit and she likes to share to.She is open as well, she doesn't hide anything from me Anger is a red flag. She might cause you a lot of damage in future. |
