Have u tried talking to her about it,tell her how she hurt u with that statement and ask the reason she made the she made that statement,communication in a relationship helps as well. Also if she's really managing u, I think it's better to end it now,5yrs is nothing compared to a life time of torture if she's not meant for you, there's someome out there who will love n cherish u for who u are, the ball is in your court,hope you make the right decision.

Personally, I think it's rude,what's the big deal in replying 'hey',as a lady u got to be polite,even if they have feelings for you, and if you dont feel the same,tell them that politely,when they continue you can unfriend them or block contacts if you wish. If someone did that to u how will u feel,that's what we should always ask ourselves

I know a friend with similar story,she tried committing suicide,but esaaped the grasp of death,she's now living happily like nothing happened. First you give your life to christ,it's obvious you are not a bornagain because if you would understand that the life that you live is not yours but christ's.The holyspirit is a divine comforter,you will find peace,joy,life and love,that love you seek for,I wish I can talk to you more on this issue
