Celebrities / You Would Stop Carrying Leather Bags, If You Knew The Genesis by Vivos: 11:08pm On Feb 24, 2020
Cruelty has no limits. Every time you buy a fashion item made from leather – be it a trendy handbag, a piece of comfortable shoes – please think about the tremendous cruelty that stands at the foundation of that product.

Chinese government has repeatedly failed to adopt animal welfare laws and has allowed this cruelty to thrive.

The shocking image attached to this article was taken in China, where countless cows are skinned alive for their leather. Their pain can hardly be described in words. In order to prevent these gentle creatures from escaping, often these beautiful animals have their limbs cut off; on other occasions, cows tails’ are often broken and a special powder is sprayed into their eyes, in order to force them to walk to the nearest abattoir (which could be miles away).

Even if your pricey pair of leather office shoes manufactured by a high-end designer are Made In Italy, the skin may still very well come from countries such as India, where there absolutely no regulations concerning animal welfare in place. This is what actually stands behind a pair of leather boots. Still think you look great in leather? Please reconsider. Those animals needed their skin to keep warm and their organs safe. A growing number of designers and fashion companies are offering items made from vegan leather, quality materials that do not harm animals or the planet.

In addition, we hereby urge the Chinese government to take serious action against this outrageous cruelty and enforce animal protection laws that would strictly regulate this industry and will put a stop to this inhumanity as soon as possible. No animal deserves to be treated this way in the name of fashion, no matter what the circumstances are.

IT'S BETTER TO KILL THEM BEFORE USE INSTEAD OF SUBJECTING ANIMALS TO EXCRUCIATING PAIN BEFORE THEY DIE!

Phones / Re: No Nigerian Should’ve More Than 3 Phone Numbers – Pantami by Vivos: 7:17pm On Feb 05, 2020
Fasindo:
shocked

Very good policy

I support Pantami on this.
What another great achievement by Buhari govt

If Nigerians start using only 3 Sim card
Security will increase.
There won't be Boko Haram, bandits, kidnapping, armed robbery nd herdsmen attack anymore.

There will be massive job opportunities that even foreigners will beg to come nd work in Nigeria

The rate of Naira exchange rin d market will be higher than dollars, pounce nd Euro.
This will automatically lead to fall in price of rice, cars, handsets nd all gud.
In fact Range Rover will be sold at #12,000

There will be good roads in d whole of Nigeria because all d roads will fix itself
There will be cheap houses that every young Nigerian at d age of 18 will own its own house.
There won't be army, police nd SARS intimidation.
Our hospitals will start functioning more than the ones in Dubai, Canada, London nd USA.
There will be free education
There will be no more election rigging.

Even Coronavirus will stop if Nigerians starts using 3 Sim cards.
Boko Haram will release all those they kidnap.

Please let's support this good idea from Pantami.
Me I will dispose all my sim cards, I will be reducing it to 2, please if u ar using more than 3 Sims destroy them nd keep only three
Very very funny, I love the sarcasm

If rat is the vector carrying Lassa fever, the government should initiate rat eradication programmes like that of Roll Back Malaria and not restricting the local man from certain food bcoz most people won't stop drinking Garri and other foods bcoz of Lassa fever.
The rat in my area is something else and they've developed immunity for rat poison

Romance / Re: My Fiancée Is Pregnant For Me. We Both Have AS Genotype by Vivos: 10:48am On Dec 17, 2019
rexandyke:
OP, my reply will be long, very long and this is because of the fire that burns in my heart whenever I see such posts.

I have seen 4 of my cousins die of SS and one is still living with it. We know he will die, but not sure when it will be. The pain the family suffered taking care of them and seeing them die after they have lived so long is unbearable.

Two died when they finished secondary school (19 and 20 years respectively). One of them died after she completed her master's program at the university while the last one was after graduating from the university and waiting for NYSC.

I happened to be close to most of them and the pain you could see from their eyes knowing they will die anytime soon. I was pained too because I couldn't stand losing them to SS.

I have been advocating for couples who are AS or SS NOT TO EVER MARRY EACH OTHER.

The pain that will result in the nearest future could be reverted by finding another soul partner. There are millions of other men and women you can link up with and get married to.

Some people are advising you to marry and then use medical interventions to prevent having SS kids. The idea is nice, but I don't advise that, sincerely. This is an avoidable havoc man! The cost of such medical interventions is always high and the money can be used to venture into some kind of business.

Why waste that money when it can be prevented? Also, it is not 100% guaranteed as you can do everything and still give birth to SS. We have seen it happen, not once or twice.

The stress and pain of taking an SS patient to the hospital during their crisis and having their blood changed aren't what you will ever want to experience. I don't even pray for my enemy to have that kind of stuff happen to them.

I beg you in the name of God in heaven or in the name of anything you believe in. Please! This comment is from a passionate heart that doesn't want to see another family suffer from this pain.

Have a great day!
so what about the baby?
Are you advising they abort the baby bcoz of their foolish decisions
Romance / Re: My Fiancée Is Pregnant For Me. We Both Have AS Genotype by Vivos: 10:38am On Dec 17, 2019
Freethought:
I know a lot of you are going to blaim me buh please let your message to me come with an advise. We are in a state of real dilemma

Few months ago, i opened a thread on how we both found out we were both of AS genotype and how we couldn't stop having sex. Well as against some advices here, we didn't stop having sex until this past weekend wen we found out that she's pregnant.

I remember the month after we found out about the genotype, she told me she told her parents that she's gon get married to me no matter what, they practically begged her not to, telling her different stories of SS children they know

We haven't told anybody about the pregnancy yet . We are scared every single one of them will blame us and think we did it intentionally just to get married.

I love her and I'm sure she loves me too buh this pregnancy, the tot of it alone being SS is scaring the shit out of us.

We don't know what to do
the deed has been done, no need for all these criticism
A life is now involved, I advise you two get married.....
Technology has evolved a lot now.... you can now check the genotype of the foetus in utero, it's expensive but you'll have to go through it instead of aborting the foetus without affirming the genotype

We still have stem cell transplant, an SS child can be changed to AA or AS after birth
You two can get married but it's going to be expensive bcoz you'll need to check the genotype of the child everytime she conceives

It's so unfortunate how these events continue to unfold.
It's obvious there's serious drama in Aso Rock

I would rather watch "keeping up with Aso Rock on Fire" than "keeping up with the Kardashians"....

We really need to start a reality show in Aso Rock, the drama is too much, it will help some of us unwind grin

Is this Idiot (Aisha) now the President?
This is what you get when a man become senile and too old to function.
Just imagine how authoritatively this unelected mere Domestic appendage gets on the issue of National relevance
saying "I have received so many calls on the need to regulate social media. In Nigeria" Aisha who are you?
Buhari is just an unfortunate disaster to Nigeria

A weak man is not Fit to be President, Men are senile from age 70 Buhari is senile and Aisha knows it and she is afraid to loose the title of wife of President
the Sultan said what you quoted not Aisha Buhari....Read well

the message she's trying to pass across is true.... we blame the president for everything, if we are going to blame him always, then there is no need to elect governors.

I'm not being tribalistic here but we all know the north region, don't place importance to male children but to females bcoz of the dowry.
In all the news we've heard, never have I heard that a female Hausa child was kidnapped

They should take care of their male children or at least, appreciate people that helped them take care of their children.

This woman was obviously not depressed, from the report that were gathered.....this is not DEPRESSION

She was socially healthy, bcoz she had a good interpersonal relationship with her neighbors
She even stocked her shop with goods for social activities on Saturday, meaning that she planned to stay alive till Saturday

Something is fishy..... The police investigative team, it's so bad in Nigeria, I would have suggested they get them involved.....bcoz murder cases now pass for suicide without investigation

it could be that it's spiritual manipulation..... VILLAGE PEOPLE

Family / Re: My Niece Said My Husband Got Her Pregnant by Vivos: 7:29am On Sep 27, 2019
Agneseze:
I can’t sleep , i am so depressed right now . I am writing this with tears in my eyes

I have been married for 13 years , and my husband and I have 4 children together. Everything was going well in my family until my niece came to live with us. She is 19 years old

She became close to my husband, but I never thought they were having an affair. I didn’t see anything going on between them to make suspect them. She was respectful to him.then I observed that she was not looking right and complaining that she was ill. I asked her what the problem was, she said nothing. Then a few days later after she was not feeling well, I told her i should take her to the doctor but my husband offered to take her. I still didn’t take that to mean anything.

My husband took her to the doctor. When she came back , she told me that the doctor said nothing was wrong with her. Then a few days after when I was at work , she packed her bags and went back to her mother. She told her mother that the doctor said she is pregnant. It was my husband who got her pregnant and he wanted her to do an abortion, but she was afraid. Her mother said when she came to live with us she was a virgin, but my husband took her virginity.

My husband calls her a liar. He said that he never had sex with her. I can't look at him, I have nothing to say to him and all he wants to do is hold my hand and kiss me, and try to manipulate me into bed. But I am worried , because my husband is respectable man and is well known. I don’t know what to believe. What should I do please
I understand how you feel but you should try to contain this matter within..... for your sake and bcoz of the children
Don't force the girl to get an abortion...I'm against abortion , she should have the baby if she wants to,

Don't divorce your husband bcoz it would hurt your children.... But you can separate with temporary to heal from this hurt
